anyone else ever get sad cuz someone you really liked and thought was your friend blocked you without saying anything (bonus points if you'd previously discussed how shitty / triggering behavior like that is) but they're still friends / partners with some of your mutuals so you have to see them on your dash. and like. you wish them well, because they were your friend and you cared / still care about them, but at the same time you just want to be like DNI cuz this person hurt me and I thought they were my friend (even tho you know that won't fix anything or make you feel better, so you don't + you don't need or want to make it a spectacle ooc)

Seph isn't a big cat. At least not fully. He's turned out to be more saluki like his mother. Cuz yes, Lucrecia is around in my story and raised Seph with lots of love and care which is why he's just a super sweet and actually stable guy. Gentle giant.

Seph's dad, however, was feline. What kind? Unknown, the guy was gone shortly after Lucrecia got pregnant and she never speaks of him. The two were simply a fling and Seph resulted out of that. But mama Lucrecia wanted a kid so it worked out. Good for her, good for her. Two things right off the bat: - Hojo is not the father cuz I can't stand him so he's not in my story. - Vincent isn't the father either cuz in my story him and Seph are the same age.

So the father is an oc of mine who still needs a design. Maybe for funsies, we'll see. Seph got his white fur and the cat eyes from him. Maybe he can purr cuz it's cute. It's talking and walking animals in a fantasy world with monsters and magic, logic is out of the window anyway who cares. *laughs* The Remnants - so like I often point out, I just call 'em that for convenience. They're no remnants of Seph at all and there's no ill will between both parties. Kadaj is actually a huge fan of Seph's music and really wants to meet him eventually. Alrighty, all this yapping and I finally get to the point of your question: People unfamiliar with her usually freak out at momma Jen. Cuz when the three sibs were still smol babbins in school and parent nights would be up people did NOT expect a giant ass spider woman to come in to talk about her fluffy cat kids. It got better over time, tho. Jenova is an incredibly sweet woman, really. But whenever any of her kids brought friends over who didn't know about their adoptive mom being an arachnid, they sometimes did freak out. Until they realized Jen is cool. B) And really good at baking. She especially enjoys making themed treats. In her usual spaces (neighborhood, fav cafes, etc. places she simply frequents a lot) people are chill around her cuz they obviously know her. But in other parts of Midgar... Weeeell just imagine people scooting away from her when she as much as yawns and her long sharp fangs pop out of the side of her mouth. Her kiddos are super protective of her so if anyone gives her mean or scared looks they're no stranger to be like "Got a problem??". Especially Kadaj. They adore their mom cuz she's one of the few stable things in their life. So insult their mom and you have one pissed off snow leopard trying to punch your lights out.

So before I begin with my rant about the last race I have to give an honourable mention of my 2 favourite drivers ever Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri because I won't be bringing them up later but I refuse to leave them out because they're my fave drivers so I have to (lando on the left oscar on the right! And no lando is unfortunately not named after the star wars character ☹️)

ANYWAY LAST RACE on Sunday. Every race day is on a Sunday btw..

So this race didn't exactly go how I hoped it would but its okay because no matter who wins I'm happy for them because I'm incapable of hating any of the drivers for some reason?

IDK IF YOU KNOW HOW GRID POSITIONS WORK... but basically there's 20 drivers and they all line up behind the starting line 2 behind 2 if that makes sense? (There's an event on Saturday to decide who starts where it's not randomised haha) so my boy lando was starting up front erm. He did not stay there he ended up in 6th which is not very good for him, he's 2nd to be world champion right now so he usually ends up top 3 but umm not this time

It was a very wet race, I don't think it rained but there was insane rainfall the days before and the track was practically flooded

So much happend, so many drivers crashed (they're all okay!) Including my fave rookie (new driver) Franco Colapinto

Which sucks cuz he's been doing realllyyyy well lately

So who won?? Max Verstappen, you've probably heard his name, you've probably seen the "tu dududu max verstappen" meme (that's how I got into f1 btw lmao) max hasn't won a race since before the summer break over 100 days!! Last year Max won evert single race except 3 of them and 2 of those were his teammate checo perez

Then in 3rd and 2nd place we had one of the worse performers teams this year. How did they even end up there? Basically someone crashed and there was a yellow flag (or red I can't remember.. ) when this happens all the drivers have to stop overtaking eachother and drive one behind the other in their formation so no crashes happen if the car that crashed causing the yellow/red flag is on the track or there's parts on the track

Drivers can go for a pitstop to change tyres while this happens, everyone went to change their tyres except max, esteban and pierre (those last 2 being the team worse performing)

Esteban was in first but once the yellow flag ended max quickly overtook him, in the end max came first, esteban second and pierre third

This was a big deal for alpine (esteban and pierres team) estie and pierre had been known to be childhood buddies that had grown to hate eachother, something about an accidental love triangle and old karting championships as kids that lead to them hating eachother, they both were French kids trying to achieve their dreams and while this is true this podium changed something for them. I've never seen them so happy, for a long time Estie wouldn't even look at pierre, wouldn't talk to him but after this podium? They were like kids again

This shocked a lot of people because well their history and also cuz so many people think estie is a bad person and like he's a little dumb sometimes but he's not a bad person that's really far out, at the end of the day he's silly and he's estie bestie

Max also ate this up cuz he was happy to be winning again and I'm happy to see him on that top step again

So all and all it was a good race really and I loved seeing my alpine boys happy again

anyways woes aside. i still actually want to finish that comic and did make a bit of progress on it beyond whats been posted. problem is i don't have much motivation to finish the dream characters info (nero and gio jr) either because the person who i was developing them with left the fandom, and it sorta spurred me into losing interest in them except for penny. so im in this weird limbo zone of like "aughh i wanna finish the bau comic" "but i should finish the dream kids' info before i do that" "but i don't wanna work on them" if that makes sense u_u

alder attempts to negotiate with n, but n just keeps refusing. alder knows he slipped up here in even mentioning prison, probably making n's stubborn refusal to cooperate even worse right now. he's just exhausted and frustrated, and admittedly, n has been one of the most difficult people he's ever worked with. he's given everything he can manage to try and help this man- he took hydreigon's blast to save his life, he's given him shelter and food, an opportunity at freedom, and n absolutely will not let his guard down even an inch. so alder is at his wits end.

"Natural... If you want to get off of house arrest, you have to stay here for two years. After that, you can just... lie to everyone, tell them you're better now. Then run off to wherever it is you wanna be so badly. I've given you as much freedom as I'm legally allowed, and still, it's just not enough for you."

Alder continues. "You can still come back in and go to bed. I'll do whatever I can to keep this infraction off your record, and we'll keep trying to figure out how to make this transition easier for you- but you need to be open with us. You can't be angry at a world that never wronged you. The only one to blame is Ghetsis."

N struggles to find words for most of Alder's rebuking, but at the mention of Ghetsis, of course, he snaps. "Do-- do you think it was only Ghetsis who hurt me? Do you think Ghetsis is the only human who I've seen cause pain? That man isn't even my real father- I-- I was born to a village that cast me out! Left me to starve- wanted me to die so I couldn't curse them with my presence!" This is the most N has even spoken to Alder his entire stay. He's out of breath. "And even once I was able to leave the castle-- everywhere I went, I heard- heard stories of humans mistreating each other, mistreating others. Constantly. Everyone turns at some point. Do you expect me to stay around you, just waiting for the day you show your true colors? Waiting for you to use me?"

Alder falters a bit. His heart hurts, his anger wanes. But he did what he intended to do; he got N distracted.

"S-so I have to run. I need to escape from you people before it.. it's too.. late." N's voice tapers into a breathless whisper as he bumps into something behind him. They realize what just happened immediately, but they dont get time to react- they're restrained by a move from venomoth, which then uses sleep powder on them as they thrash and scream at Alder. N crumples to the ground after just a moment, and Alder trudges over to collect them.

Alder knows it was a dirty move. It was just a last resort to keep the man from tearing off further into the woods and causing even more of a disaster for both of them. "I'm sorry, son. Just.. rest, okay." He whispers. "I'm not going to let anyone else hurt you. You have my word." N probably doesn't even hear it, they're out like a light within moments. But Alder could see plain on N's face, as he rapidly faded from consciousness, the look of a man that is terrified and trapped and desperate, utterly hurt to his core. And his will to keep working with N is renewed.

N wakes up at home, finding themself uninjured and tucked into bed rather than waking up on a prison floor, much to their surprise. Alder's kept this whole thing under wraps, like he said he would try to. They have one more chance.

do you have any recs for miguel comics??? ive been meaning to get into his comics n usually id just go chronologically, but i think youd have good recs for his comics :D

Chronologically actually works pretty well I think, cuz I do like a lot of his comics! I mean sure some of them suck but like. They're charming. And also there are like, 3 or 4 times where his universe/timeline just gets hard reset so just. Take a lot of that with a grain of salt.

His original run from 1992 is of course recommended, even despite a lot of the shitty writing at times. The art is phenomenal I love Rick Leonardi's work. And I do love the foundation for Miguel's personality and story that's built upon. He's very different to Peter Parker and it shows and it's shown in an interesting way that makes him an enjoyable character (just wish the writing wasn't so fucking overly mean to him for no reason sometimes).

There are some 2099 (World of Tomorrow) comics that show not just Miguel but the other 2099 versions of heroes but I'll be honest I haven't read those yet. I heard they were confusing. And also I think Punisher 2099 sets up a villain for Miguel's comic but god it's. Messy. I realized you asked me what's the best to read and I'm trying to give the comprehensive timeline KJDSHGJDS sorry autism moment

Going back to what I do recommend and like, it's a one shot but the Spider-Man 2099 meets Spider-Man is fun I love that one a lot. This is not at all required reading but he does join the Exiles in the 2001 run at around Issue 75 and ngl I skipped there cuz I really do like the Miguel bits in this one. He's not the main character but I think what he adds is fun :) It's a different canon from the main timeline Miguel but it's fun. Captain Marvel (1999) issues 27-30 also bring Miguel back and I think like, set up for future stuff but tbh you don't have to read this and I haven't yet so idk if it's good.

From here it gets. Messy cuz there's the 2014 run but that requires previous reading in The Superior Spider-Man but you can also technically just, skip that and start the 2014 run cuz they do kinda catch you up, but if you want backstory his stuff starts there. I did like his stuff in Superior Spider-man tho. ANYWAYS I like the 2014 run a lot. Then there's Secret War 2099. I cannot remember if I read that DSLJGHSLDJ. But from there is the 2015 run which again you can just kinda jump into and they catch you up. I like it! I think it's fun. Hate once he gets his white suit but hey. He's still cute in this run.

There is a 2019 oneshot that's... Fine. It's fine. I don't really like it but it's a hard reboot of Miguel's timeline and universe again. But not necessary reading. You can read it if you like! But I didn't care much KJLDSFHGHKF

After that there's Spider-Man 2099 Exodus which I DO really like! 2099 Exodus Alpha is actually really good and has one of my favorite covers. And then the latest run he had was 2099 Dark Genesis which I REALLY LIKE. There's Carnage 2099 and I fuckin love this one I actually own all 5 issues.

This got long sorry however I'm not done. Not a comic but if you ever wanna watch smth he's in, the video game Edge of Time is Very good and has Great Miguel characterization and dialogue. There are full playthroughs on Youtube and I really do love this game.

I wanted to say sorry, I can see how that was out of line for me to ask. I guess I saw you had answered that other ask about your pronouns and assumed you were open to sharing/educating. However I probably should have figured that you didn't really want to elaborate based on you not doing so in that post already. So I apologize, honestly. If I met you irl and you told me your pronouns as you did in the other post I might still have been confused but I would do my best to use the ones you asked for.

To be honest I don't interact with people in the "community" much, online or irl. (I'm kind of a hermit and don't interact with anyone in general much) So I didn't realize there was that kind of a negative/washed-out view of 'gender-neutral'.

My limited understanding of they/them was that it's a good thing to use when you don't know someone's pronouns (either cuz you haven't had the chance to ask yet or cuz it's a mystery person or placeholder idea of a person where gender isn't relevant in the example being given) or for people who don't identify with he or she. I also felt that just like 'he' can mean all different degrees and types of masculinity and 'she' can mean all different degrees and types of feminity for individual persons, 'they' also means completely different things to the different people who use it. And I guess I thought everyone (who has made an attempt to understand non-cis) used/understood it that way. I didn't know it was mostly used as a lazy third gender. :/ I can see why you might lean away from they/them if you assume everyone who uses it is just putting you in yet another box.

(Sorry for not going into it/it's here, I have a lot more learning and meditating to do on that one before I'll be comfortable with it. Though I would do my best to use it if someone asked me to.)

As nice as it is to get likes on your post becasue it is like a pat on a head - it is only a pat, doesn't mean anything on a long run. Reblog = spreading. If people don't spread it we stay unnoticed and we tend to self reblog more.

most of people follow ton of blogs (one of my friend I met here told me they follow over 1k blogs) imagine even half of these blogs posting regulary, a few things per hour, the dash is messy and crowded OUR EDITS TEND TO GET LOST IN IT. Most of people follow a lot of blogs and might miss our posts becaue their dashes are WAY more active than these who follow five or ten blogs.

t/mblr fandoms aren't welcoming to new creators in my experience, to get notes you need to be popular/have lot of followers but you can't have lot of them if your posts aren't spread/seen and so on and so on it go in circle (a lot of ppl also only reblog popular posts and avoid these with litte of notes - don't know why it is like this, maybe they think these posts are suspicious?) so with self reblog we also give some of these fake notes to make a post more appealing, i guess? this one is just speculation.

the search function you mentioned is very rarely used tbh people don't go to search for things daily, they usually only do this when they join new series/ship/etc to check if there is something. People usually stick to what they see on their dashes. AND most importantly this option doesn't work as it should. It is some type of algoritm that promote post that are alive/active - even if your post is relativy new it might not show in search becasue it died quickly (as if it wasn't interacted with for some time). With search option it is 50/50 your thing either show there or not. ALSO REMEMBER search option is a terrible promoted thingy that doesn't show you everything so you better stick to /tagged/ thing you can enter manually while on dash if you are using web t/mblr.

people no longer go straight to specific blogs to check if they missed something, they might do it for their besties (as they call it) but other than that DASH is all people see and focus on, so the more often content creators self/reblog the higher chance followrs will see it.

exactly what I'm saying. eddie and argyle have only been in the show for a season but they were at least fleshed out enough and we know them. i mean argyle it's kinda iffy because it's easier to infer eddie's background-he's talked about it-but argyle we don't know anything about his family, his life, who he lives with, where he lives, hobbies, ect. meanwhile eddie we know his personality and where he lives and we sort of have a window on his family life-- i mean most characters, even steve and dustin, don't have much info on their families, but I mean I'd expect a mention about Argyle's family. I'm hoping we'd get more info on him. All we know is that he smokes weed, he's jonathan's only friend and jonathan is his, he does woodshop, and works at a pizza place. but it's way more information than samantha. no exactly. I love jancy and i wanted them to get together, but it just feels like hes her shadow. it honestly feels like, for both of them, but mostly jonathan, relationships are kind of ruining their whole character. like i'd even be mad if they made jonathan's character surrounded around his relationship with argyle. yes i'd love if that became canon (even though the two canon-hinted lgbtq ships are taking the duffers forever to actually make canon so it's most likely never a possibility) but it would suck if jonathan's character arc was stunted yet again. So i'm not seeing why steddies need to bash us bc "why cant we just let them be friends!?!?!?!" and then ship two characters that is basically canon stonathan, which is a ship they also hate, and their relationship ideas for them are purely fanon when jargyle and other ships have more canon interactions.

Yes. Tommy is completely way better than Steve. Steve wasn't as bad at the very beginning but later on he became wayyyyy worse. And Tommy just stayed the same. he just shittalked him, which isn't okay, but he's not an evil villian compared to Steve. Steve was worse. And yes tommy was way better to carol than steve was to nancy. because the way steve treated nancy..messed up.

yeah i agree steve and nancy are wishy washy. im still kinda pissed at nancy about the s3 argument thing, mainly because i've lived in an extremely poor household and it's just. Its not fun. And I know they've made up and they both did wrong but... idk I still empathize with jonathan on that. I would've been LIVID. And yeah i dont think steve cares at all, and then at some points he does. Argyle wouldn't do any of that though so yes exactly.

I'm so glad you said that! Jargyle is my favorite too. Right exactly they are so perfect and Argyle is so sweet to him and caring and kind its just nice to see Jonathan being treated right for once and be shown so much love and praise and Argyle just babying him and taking care of his kids and showing him nothing but love and support UGGH! It's so adorable. It's the same reason why I love Samantha x Jonathan and Eddithan so much too. But Jargyle is easily my fav.

So yeah Sonathan, Eddithan, and Jargyle are my top tier ships. As much as I enjoy Jommy/Stoncy/Stonathan ext, I still favor Jargyle and them.

And seeing someone take care of Jonathan for once instead of him having to take care of them is amazing. He deserves all that love and care and needs it. I can't wait to see Vecna try and come after Jonathan in S5 and Argyle comes in like a handsome prince and saves Jonathan! It better happen. But I guess it doesnt matter cause its already been happening in my head.

Eddithan is my other favorite for the same reason. But Jargyle is still superior imo because its canon I don't have to make up how sweet it is in my imagination-Jargyle was on the show itself while Eddie and Jonathan didn't interact. Not that I'm against non canon ships ofc but I'm sure you know what I mean. Its easier to love a ship where the two are already close and connected to begin with and you don't have to do all the heavy lifting yourself to think of how their relationship is.

I think I got foreverautumn converted finally and supporting Jargyle more than Stonathan. I love Stonathan and that don't get me wrong, but Jargyle is superior and I'm tired of Argyle being overlooked because of Steve supposedly being prettier and better than Argyle and how hes a fan fav.... it makes me mad. Like I'm sorry but thats bs. Argyle deserves Jonathan a lot more than Steve ever has. Argyle has done so much for Jonathan, got him to trust and open up, and Argyle's entire storyline has been about how he supports Jonathan and helps him through everything and makes him happy. I'm tired of people saying Argyle is dumb too when S4 clearly showed how smart he was if it wasn't for him they wouldn't have saved El in the first place and it was his whole idea to go to Surfer Boy so El could piggyback and rescue Max. As much as I love Steve and Stonathan, Jargyle is the superior ship.

I really enjoy Jommy too but I want to see more of us all getting away from it just being the second coming of Stonathan. Because Tommy and Steve may be similar, but Tommy isn't Steve and I'd like to see to see how Tommy treats Jonathan differently and how his relationship with Jonathan goes instead of him just being Steve 2.0. Especially since Tommy treats his S.O. better.

Yeah I want to be clear-No hate to Byergrove or the Byergrove shippers at all. I see the appeal of Byergrove and I love foreverautumn's headcanon of it where Steve and Billy are fighting over Jonathan and how much depth and character development went into that. Billy is so hate-able in that especially because hes trying to break up Steve and Jonathan just so he can have Jonathan, but hes also loveable in that because of how much appreciation he shows to Jonathan and how he keeps bettering himself for Jonathan. I found myself cheering on Billy momentarily because its sweet how he thought Jonathan was worth fighting for and how Billy changed for the better and became a good big brother to Max once Jonathan got ahold of him. There are times I love Byergrove just because its always a really compelling story, but at the same time I wouldn't call myself a Byergrove shipper.

I love Billy I really do I think hes a really interesting and complex character and he really adds to the plot of the headcanons and stories, but I always favored the ships like Jargyle and Eddithan where its someone taking care of Jonathan and showing him love and support instead of the ships where its Jonathan saving them in more ways than one and fixing their lives and helping them and taking care of them and helping them to grow up [like Stonathan/Stoncy/Byergrove/Jommy]. Not that I don't like those stories, I love those stories and those ships and see the appeal cause it shows how special and heroic Jonathan is and puts him in the spotlight and shows off what makes him such an amazing person, but I prefer the ships where the SO takes care of Jonathan instead.

Jonathan doesn't need even more people to baby and take care of he needs to be taken care of and showed a lot of love and support. I guess I favor the 'fluffy' type of relationships too much. Don't get me wrong I love the angst and complexity of ships like Stonathan and that, but I just favor Jargyle and Eddithan because its Jonathan being taken care of and saved and shown so much love. I know I'm rambling and I hope this was coherent.

I was in a rush so I don't know how coherent this was, but hopefully you get what I'm trying to say I love Stonathan/Stoncy and that so much, but Jargyle and Eddithan will always be superior because Jonathan takes care of Eddie and Argyle, but they take care of him even more and help him through his trauma and show him so much love and support and give Jonathan everything he could ever need or want emotionally. All Eddithan and Jargyle is is some big love fest where they just adore Jonathan and praise him and help him and remind him constantly how special he is. Even if Vecna does still brings the drama and angst into their relationship anyway.....

There's some reasons why this is happening and we mean that the trumps are falling apart the biggest issue is that their method is terrible it is despicable nasty people hate it and they don't sympathize because he's doing something with a terrible technique they don't think he's a super spy they don't think that he is an anti-hero or hero or comic book superhero or evangelist or savior they think he's an a****** and he's trying to sell all these days like he's a super duper CIA guy then he is like some sort of ancient east coast legend and then he saved the economy as a business person to the economy and he is wanted as a criminal suit for the effects he made and we also want him in court for him and he should go to prison and you should stay in prison until he's dead it's treason he did it a lot and. Now there are people and they got really disgusted with Trump so you don't know how to work you never want to pay in your life and you're spoiled rotten and everybody wants him out and they're working at it too and it's going on right now. That's one reason why is what Trump did in his townships and the skulls his Tower ships skulls is a advances on society due to a reliance on New Zealand and planetoids which isn't really going to be enough and he's have seen the ignorant when it comes to fleets.
