oh my gufcking god they did the nightmare sequence SO fucking well I'm in disbelief, this was a case where Trigger absolutely improved on the source material

the picture frames they added in the background were BRUTAL

Izutsumi is so fuckin cute and they did Senshi's parenting so well I'm tearing up a whole lot at this episode just from how much affection I feel for these characters 😭

#I actually started crying when the Falin image appeared in the background after all the pics of her father's death oh my god #I mean I was already tearing up but the Falin image really killed me 😭#they also made the foreshadowing with the book waaaay less subtle they drew a ton of attention to it #which isn't a bad thing tbh bc it's really important for Marcille's arc #god I wanna write a lot about the nightmare sequence and all the beautiful choices they made for it I have so many thoughts #but unfortunately I'm already a half hour late to get started on work and my boss will want an update soon 😩 phooey #lyla's talking again #dungeon meshi #dungeon meshi spoilers #a little bit I kinda hinted at some stuff in the tags
