do you guys ever read an m/m fic, realize that no women have been doing literally anything of importance, and then decide to drop said fic
#got fed up with this one popular m/m fic n decided to drop it bc i miss seeing women and also their characterization was kinda mid#like since i'm not Terribly invested in the main pairing (read it as a rec for the side pairing) it had to like. Dawn on me#that the fic wasn't written to sell the readers on the main pairing; no it was written for people who already shipped it to squee abt it#which is like fair!! but if you're gonna have kinda super rushed characterization of my otp that i find mediocre#i'm not going to be endeared to your main pairing which hasn't even really interacted in front of us at all yet either!#花話
