we all have skeletons in the closet ・゚✫ somewhat surprise starter for @lovestaged
The collaboration had not been Hana's idea, and she could not say without speculating whose exactly it had been, but she knows for a fact that managers love coming up with ideas and springing them on their talent, who happily nod and go along with what they are asked to do because it is in their best interest. Truly, Hana has no complaints about being paired up with Siyue, who she's heard referred to by the name of Queenie more often than not (her true name coming out in the greetings that had come and gone, much like Hana is sure her own did). There had been meetings and emails, and more emails and more meetings, lyrics and music sent back and forth and edited and revised until there was a version that everyone seemed to be happy with. For now, at least. These things always have a way of changing at the last minute. And it was thus that the two found themselves together in a modest rehearsal room to practice with one another, ensuring they were in sync with one another musically before any kind of choreography went ahead. This is a preference to Hana in particular, whose favourite part of her career is the musical aspect. 'I think we've almost got it.' Hana's eyes are cast down to the sheet music in her hands, well into their third hour and third break in between practicing and workshopping. 'I think we need to harmonise in the chorus a little more, so maybe we should work on that before we get back into it but, like, if you have any ideas...' She trails off as she brings her gaze up to where Siyue had been standing. The operative phrase being had. For though she had been standing but a few metres from Hana beforehand, Siyue had silently (or at least unbeknownst to Hana) moved from where she stood, now on the other side of the room with the colour drained from her face. 'Siyue?' Hana stands from her seat, placing upon it the sheet music which had been in one hand and water bottle from the other. 'Are you okay? You're not sick?'
