As much as I adore and agree with the themes of forgiveness and grace in Ted Lasso, I'm also entirely aware that some people just won't grow, no matter how many chances you give them. And at some point it is healthier for you and the other people in your life to just let that person go and stop trying.

Yes, everyone deserves to be loved. But Rupert does not deserve to be loved BY REBECCA, or any of the people who love her. Maybe one day he'll mature enough to grow as a person, and that would be wonderful! But Rebecca and her new found family are not obligated to be the ones who help him through that, even if it happens

Ted Lasso just like, everyone in this world deserves to be loved and cared for, with all their flaws, and deserves a chance to grow as a person. except Rupert. fuck Rupert.
