okay so sorry may nation brendan is the protag im very attached to him he's my little guy. anyway he's upset at his dad for making them move to hoenn for his job which made him lose all of his friends from johto.

in hoenn he saves professor birch and gets treeko. he then meets wally and helps him catch ralts. brendan convinces wally to go run away with him and go challenge the league together. may tags along with them since she heard they were going on a journey and wanted to go explore and get information about the pokemon in hoenn for her dad. so yeah hoenn trio is born :)

archie was teasing wally and the other kids and wally blurted out something like "w-well we're going to stop you because we're team sky!!" and archie begins laughing his ass off. wally is the team leader, brendan is the boy admin, and may is the girl admin. also wally is the one to summon rayquaza to stop groudon and kyogre.

brendan's motivation was basically to get stronger than his dad as revenge for forcing him to leave his friends so when he actually beats his dad he feels sorta aimless. he starts getting interested in contests and music composition. and after losing to wally before the league he realizes his passion is actually contests and music!!

delta episode is basically the same but wally replaces the protag's role. he doesn't keep deoxys (given to birch to research) or rayquaza (willingly released them because he doesn't want to be a legendary hero). considering having rayquaza do something similar to eve and have a humanoid form that shows up occasionally but like instead of ruining the kid's lives they just show up to make wally cheer up when he's feeling down (wally is their favorite little guy) and they're also not champion. basically loki if loki was a cool uncle(gender neutral) instead of a piece of shit

as for trevor and tierno im uh not sure what to with them exactly yet im so sorry. rn xy focuses on serena, calem, and shauna and how they represent zygarde, xerneas and yveltal respectively. kalos doesn't really have any side legendaries and the mythicals other than hoopa (who's basically a hoenn mythical actually) are.... kinda uninteresting lore wise💀. im hoping replaying xy will give me more ideas for them. actually looking forward to xy alot x was my first pokemon game :)
