Have been putting off watching iwtv because I know I'll like it too much but it's getting to the point where I can't avoid it anymore lol........... Right on the brink........
#also tbh put it off to let the dust settle a bit re seeing how they handle race#i like want to see black characters in genre fic so much#but it often does mean subjecting myself to watching Time Appropriate Racism since i like historical shit 🥲#which can be good/compelling/cathartic at times but it's often being fumbled badly by a white show runner#so when i saw 2 of the main characters were black i was excited but apprehensive and now it passed the preliminary sniff test#also unrelated but specifically why i like bridgerton as a fantasy where we lightly addressed then handwaved the mixed races#but u still have production fumbling the care of their actors and other issues i have re that stuff#text posts#anyway long story short#I'm gonna be watching that show soon LMAO it's just that like where tf can i watch it.....#not paying for another damn subscription and i know s1 is about to hit Netflix but when i catch up where will i go 🤔#i haven't been watching many current shows since things get cancelled all the time so IDK where ppl are streaming these days#gonna have to research 😅#have a roku tv but if i actually use it for a show will there be commercials
