Name: Mirenna "Renn" de Riva, (Mirevas - Dalish Clan)

Alias(es): Rook, The Prince's Bloody Wolf (use if you want to die)

Place of birth: Forests between Tevinter and Antiva (Dalish Clan)

Spoken languages: Dalish, Trade (Common), Antivan, Tevene, poor Orlesian

Sexual orientation: Pan in the sense she'll sleep with whoever when she wants, but leans Aro for romance

Occupation: Officially an Antivan Crow, unofficial guard dog for Viago, unwilling leader of the Veilguard, and post game she's the unofficial guard dog for Lucanis and Viago, and sometimes still an assassin for her House (when she's feeling well enough)

FAVOURITE

Colour: Rich reds, dark blues, and deep purples with silver over gold when possible

Entertainment: She spends an almost concerning amount of time stretching, training (daggers, swords, climbing, running, casting), and caring for her gear, but she also loves just climbing somewhere stupid high or silly to fall asleep in. She's turned naps into her favorite entertainment somehow. Also annoying the shit out of her favorite people, she loves that too.

Pastime: She brews poisons for work, but crafts perfumes and liquid incense for fun and as gifts. She's also fond of light sketching (doesn't consider herself an artist, but is passingly good at landscapes) and taking notes of everything and everyone around her.

Food: She loves anything with sweet berries and fruits in general. (A bit of leftover from her time in a Dalish clan) Smoked meats are her favorite form of snack and ration while on the job, but when back home in the cities of Antiva she adores the rich dishes of steaks and fowls. Cheeses are a delicacy to her and thus charcuterie boards are the greatest indulgence in her eyes. As for cooking, she can manage basic dishes, but prefers to frequent restaurants and food stalls in Antiva. (She's far less afraid of someone trying to poison her than Viago)

Drink: Rich reds and delicate blushes are her favored wines, but she is known to enjoy sweet juices and dark coffees as well.

Books: She loves stories about found family (projecting) and romances specifically about love managing to conquer all despite dire circumstances. Also has a soft spot for a proper murder mystery, though she talks about those as if she's doing research.

HAVE THEY

Passed university: Never officially joined a Circle, but cleared her training with a private tutor and passed her Crow training.

Had sex: Periodically when Teia brings her out on the town (often times to get back at Viago so Renn tags along for fun so he has to be alone that night with no real idea of what's happening)

Had sex in public: In the proper venues for it, but never just... out in the streets. Though as a Crow, there is a possibility she's at least messed around while on the roofs.

Gotten tattoos: Many! All post joining the Crows, though, except her Vallaslin obviously. (Back, arms, ankle)

Gotten piercings: Her ears are pierced in a few places for disguise purposes on jobs, but she very rarely wears earrings otherwise.

Had a broken heart: Once, when she was still a fledgling. She'd been quietly getting closer to and dating a fellow de Riva fledgling, but when Viago pushed for becoming the Talon, her paramour didn't agree. After the girl tried to kill her and failed, her hand was forced and she killed her instead. She rather swore off dating after that, but we see how well that works out during the events of the game.

Been in love: Real, proper, head over heels love doesn't happen until Lucanis during Veilguard and she's rather slow to pick up on it starting.

ARE THEY

A cuddler: She drapes herself over you like a cat demanding attention and with a poor grasp of personal space, but only once she's convinced she won't have to kill them/be worried about them killing her. Although she does enjoy the thrill of that worry to an extent. She engages with swift hugs, quick kisses, and brief touches otherwise.

Scared easily: Paranoid easily, more like. She treats fear more as a tool than something that actually can affect her. Very much subscribes to the idea of "fear is good until it stops you, so examine it then use it." (she does hate water a lot though and it's a toss up on her being able to work through the terror or devolving into a panicked mess about it)

Jealous easily: With her very limited experience with actually liking someone enough to date, she usually brushes off their attention wandering rather easily. But once her affection is known and shared, she does kind of mark her territory around perceived threats. So a little bit, yeah lmao. (imagine a very "Hey Lucanis, my love, my light, come here for a second!" *aggressive and far too involved kiss for a public space* "Alright, I adore you, sorry to interrupt." moment)

Trustworthy: She's an aggressively private person and tends to hold people at arm's length because she considers very few worth the time and effort. (Anyone could become a contract at any time, so why bother) So earning her trust is hard, but once earned, you have it forever. You can trust her with the worst secrets and the most terrible requests and she'll be a locked vault that follows through with whatever you ask of her. She'll likely still bitch and moan about the work before, during, and after, but only to the person who requests it. (Viago and Teia are the only people who have reached this level before the game, Varric was starting to approach it, and Lucanis [and Spite] are firmly here at the end of the game.)

FAMILY

Sibling(s): (none by blood) Teia and Viago (treated as older siblings, though Viago does sometimes dip into disappointed dad territory)

Parents: Father - Tulin (dead), Mother - Innan (dead to her)

Children: None and she never plans to have any. (Caterina is gonna force this someday) Mostly she hasn't had to consider this as she was dead set on staying Viago's best knife and believing she'd likely die protecting him before she'd ever need to think about it. So. She's doing fine with this at the end of game, surely. Surely...

Pets: She feeds some stray cats around the de Riva home in Salle (she misses them dearly) as well as the de Riva Apartments and Cantori Diamond in Treviso, but she's never felt the need or desire to own any given she may have to leave on a contract without warning. She's a soft spot for the messenger birds and of course crows and ravens. Dogs unnerve her. (Dalish stories about wolves be like-)
