looking at those two gifsets back to back makes me 😭 just the tension in his jaw and the intensity in s1, the way he's clearly bottling so much in.... to the s3 set where he's relaxed and in a robe and being spooned by his wife and doesn't have a single care in the universe???? i know that's my boy i'm so emotional over him

#it's 2am it's not my fault #i. ｢ ooc. ｣#i feel like anthony being second really made his arc a lot less awkward than other characters #don't get me wrong it's b*ton so there's still plenty of awkward writing BUT he got set-up growth and resolution right in a row #whereas other characters like ben or e.loise or even c.olin kind of float around in the wind until something's allowed to happen to them #and sometimes feel stagnant or underwritten #it's the structure of the show and not surprising given the format of the materal but #IDK IDK IDK
