If Kiyomi and Misa were ever stuck in a game like DDLC (the other club members can be the other Kiras. And maybe L. Maybe. Needs work) do you think Misa would pull a Monica on her?

L could be the player character maybe? 😭 or light could be the player character while the club members are L/teru/kiyomi/misa? my knowledge of ddlc is based entirely off of the tv tropes page i devoured whole at maybe 14 years old but monika… hmm. monika who is trapped in a story where she can't be the romance option. monika who bends the fabric of her universe no matter the cost just so the player character will love her, who doesn't see any of the other people in her universe as real. anon you're cooking actually i can see it

anyway this depends vastly on whether kiyomi is also aware of The Narrative or not but i'm assuming not. in which case. hmm. while misa canonically doesn't kill any of light's girlfriends even when she has the option to in first arc… yeah she would totally just fucking delete kiyomi's file lmao. although wait, no, she'd mess with her first. go into kiyo-kiyo's personality settings and erase that annoying tendency she has to uphold her pride and dignity no matter what… make her more pathetic and clingy and desperate and everything misa hates about herself reflected in the other, see how she likes it! until everything that makes kiyomi takada who she is is gone and misa’s never been happier.

and maybe in that infinite classroom with a horrified light yagami she’ll miss her. but only because she has nothing to sharpen her teeth on anymore.
