we really are in an abusive relationship with studio bones, cause the instant they give us the absolute bare minimum (aka including scenes with the right tone and accurate facial expressions... you know... what should be a given......), we're fucking over the moon and come crawling back until they let us down again 😭 this isn't right, it shouldn't have to be like this 😭😭😭💀

#like when you realize what gets us so excited is literally just..... doing what's the default in any other anime #any decent anime at least #but we're so used to being disappointed that the bsd anime being GOOD to us is just INCLUDING SCENES CORRECTLY #whereas every mappa adaptation is the most beautiful fucking thing you've ever seen #that understand the POINT of adaptations #then those fandoms will be like 'they used weird music here :///' meanwhile bsd fans: OH MY GOD THEY KEPT THE SCENE #it's so depressing 😭 bsd deserves so much better and so do we 😭😭😭💔💔💔#i'm so happy it's gotten better lately (read: doing the bare minimum that it should)#but there is NO EXPLANATION for it and that's the whole fucking problem #the whole thing should be good not just whatever they feel like prioritizing #and i shouldn't have to feel so hyped for the bare fucking minimum while equally terrified that i'm a fool for getting my hopes up again!!!
