"scratch a liberal a fascist bleeds" you guys are so embarrassing genuinely and you need to actually get your hands dirty with political history before throwing around phrases like that over everything you disagree with

#it's a legitimate phrase. or at least it used to be. until you fucking babies watered it down and removed it from the original context #according to tumblr there are only two political ideologies: one's personal guiltless utopian ideals and fascism #you are either perfect and incapable of any wrongdoing and entirely unproblematic or a literal nazi #this is a flawless political perspective and a completely normal view to hold and believe #where's that post about feeling like a crackpot leftist in real life spaces and then feeling like a rightwing nutjob on tumblr #you know now that i think about it #most people using this phrase probably don't realize that fascist means more than “bad person i disagree with”
