#where's that post about conveying emotions in your nativr language once you've learned a different one

do any other non-native english speakers experience a kind of speak paralysis in their own language? and i dont mean in a 'uwu i only speak tumblr language now' kind of way but sometimes i just.. literally can't find the words anymore. it's as if in my head im always on two language highways at once and the English one is much harder to get off. and then the voice in my head is also in English so when I practice what I want to say to someone it's in English but when I have to actually talk to them it's in my 'own' language and the words come out weird or sound too real or too dramatic or they just don't come at all anymore
