#where's that one post that was about psycholonials giving them closure for 2020?

Thinking about psycholonials again..

** spoilers for the ending, if someone is interested in playing/reading, skip this 👀 **

it's been a couple of years, but I still think about it every once in a while

what a way to end the story

just, a happy ending, hopeful wrapped on a apocalyptic (??) ending, on a ending that says that everything is going to hell but it has always happened (if the historic pics are literal about what happened before) or it was always going to happen (if they're not historic and represent what happens next, something like, history keeps repeating)

and how it's even bigger than the protagonists, Earth gets under the control of the new successor and it even continues far beyond to other planets

the girls are just a speckle in grand scheme of things

and yet, we are shown their happy ending once again

at peace, trying to get as far away of everything as possible

we don't know how long that peace will last, as sooner or later the planet will be dominated

but for now? everything is good for them

even if Zhen still has the reminder of what she did, of the opportunity she declined

she still finds peace again
