#when... no... especially now that they're plotting to bring back ros' number 1 hater and fucking MURDERER.

okay so i'm still thinking about tr!aimros from a negative light and i wanted to bring up something that was said between aimsey and ros today. (this will also probably be the last of me harping on them, atleast from a pov of tr!aimsey specifically). around the 35 minute mark of ros' stream today, ros celebrates lukey dying. aimsey proceeds to jokingly call ros terrible "You're terrible, you're terrible, you know that? You know that?" ros replies with "It's okay! I'll feel gu- terribly guilty and sad about it later." they both laugh and aimsey says "Oh you're so messed up in all the right ways." and ros replies "Oh thank you! Oh thank you!"

so this was probably a bit more of a lighthearted/joking/ooc moment however i'm going to take this as if they were more serious/in character because for me at least, this summarizes one of the biggest reasons why i personally don't like tr!aimros currently, and also i think the sentiment aimsey expressed is reflected in tr!aimros anyways, so.

aimsey accepts ros to the best of their ability, flaws, faction, and all. which is good news for someone like ros who is usually dealing with one of her 10000 issues at any given point. but that right there is what i take issue with. aimsey welcomes those flaws, and embraces them. but not in a "you may need to work on that" way, but in a "your 10000 issues are so neat! i love you" way. more power to tr!aimsey for having a "i don't want to fix you" mindset! but there is very rarely an effort on aimsey's end to confront ros' more self-destructive tendencies. there's no asking ros to stop killing herself, no questioning if ros wants to feel that horrible guilt over murdering people, and generally speaking while they listen to ros, there's little action taken outside of listening and the occasional talking back to confront ros' problems, self-destructive or otherwise. the two exceptions i can think of, is aimsey reminding ros to sleep so she'll stop getting hit by phantoms, and when aimsey encouraged ros to speak with sneeg, because ros was worried about getting in trouble for explaining her problem to aimsey.

this is in stark contrast to some of ros' other closest relationships on the server. (i dont know if pangi's ever asked ros to not kill herself but if anyone's said "ros please dont kill yourself" then they're in this group im just focusing on the povs ive seen), clown, sneeg, and i believe foolish have all asked ros to not kill herself in various contexts, and/or to take care of herself, which includes asking her to sleep! if ros were to ever express (or be able to express) some of what she has gone through and feels, such as her guilt complex around killing people, her current thoughts about her memory loss, or her feeling that she is not listened to. yes, her friends would listen. but they also wouldn't sit there giggling going "omg i love a girl with issues", they'd recognize that it's called having an issue for a reason and would want to try and work through things with ros and other involved parties if and ONLY if she's okay with it. (and let's be honest it's tr!ros, she's likely not saying no to anyone going "hey maybe you shouldnt kill yourself, thats not good and wr should work on that.") but to me that is what makes tr!aimros a unique, yet toxic relationship.

it's also what makes aimros being treated as lovey dovey and oh so silly and wholesome both by the ccs and characters so offputting? these two characters care for each other, supposedly love each other, and obsess over each other and yet they are kinda horrible for each other. (i focused on aimsey primarily but i also think there's a huge argument to be made that ros is also a not great partner, specifically in the senses that ros can be so self-sacrificing it's detrimental to herself and others but can also be horribly possessive, selfish, vindictive, and jealous, especially to her loved ones' friends (lukey and krow). but i digress). neither of them confront potential issues and instead, specifically aimsey, just sees their partner dealing with self-inflicted (to an extent) problems and goes "wow that's cute," and sweeps it under the rug for later. and while they might talk about it, they never dig to the source of the problem, and for what? for fear of change? because realizing your partner isn't perfect is hard? because your supposed romantic interest experiencing horrible guilt over her actions is adorable? (realistically it's because ros threatening to kill herself in mc isnt taken as a big issue but SOMEONE has told her not to kill herself before sooo im holding it against tr!aimsey and everyone else). i like cc!aimsey and cc!ros, and i'm not against tr!aimros as a concept. but the fucking money i'd give to either them as ccs or for someone on the realm to recognize that maybe, just maybe, aimros is kinda toxic... i'd be broke.
