ꕤ Notes: ngl i got kinda emotional while writing this- also, i decided just to do shiggy and todo, mainly cause I had some writer’s block with this... i hope you enjoy it nontheless!

Todoroki

No not again. No more. He’s been hurt so many times now, he can’t deal with this. Not after all you and him had went though. You were there in his pits of despair, helping find light even in the darkest situations. Telling him that shadows can only show with light. Telling him there was always a reason to fight. And there was. You were his reason to fight.

He will never forget the look in your eyes as the light faded away. Your reassuring smile telling him not to cry, even when your eyes were brimming with tears. Your body was covered in blood, mostly your own.

You had died saving him. You protected him from his past, his family. You were always there to lift his spirits, to guide him towards whatever light was left in the world, your smile being one of the most precious things he’d ever seen. He swore he would always protect it, protect you.

But he failed. He failed himself, he failed you. And now you were gone, your body limp in his arms.

He thought he had rid himself of all hatred, but now it was back, more powerful than ever. It would soon grow to consume him. You were still his reason to fight, yes, but this time… Thai time it was for revenge.

Against his own brother and father. His father, the one who threw you and him onto the battle field in a way for the dearest 2nd Pro Hero to come in later to save the day. But he was too late. And his brother, who was the one who took away his beloved. He was the one who killed them. Right before his eyes.

Todoroki couldn’t handle it. His eyes grew red, as fire and sharp shards grew to surround him and encase the three of you inside. His just weak and soft whimpering overcome with a deadly silence. One that could pierce your ear drums.

You started to cough of blood as your organs were failing you from being crushed, you were clearly in indescribable pain.

This went on for 5 minutes of you just looking up at your lover, oh so lovingly, whispering things would be alright, and how he had to stay strong as tears showered down. Small sobs and hics escaped him, as his emotions came out non stop like a deathly tsunami. Your eyes turned full, as your once bright smile was still there, but now, it wasn’t as bright.

He placed you on a bed of ice and snow, slowly getting up, as he looked at you in silence. He would never again hear your voice, or your gorgeous laughter fill a room. He would never be able to hear you sing along with your favorite song, or be able to witness your inning up to him to engulf him in a hug after not seeing him for the whole day. He’d never be able to… His mind went rapid, then it stopped.

All he could see was red. His face stone cold. Everything he felt before was wiped. He turned to face the other. His brother. All that’s left is one constant thing on his mind, like a program for a computer, something obsolete. It must be accomplished. It will be, as he launched himself forwards.

“They must now die too.”

Shigaraki

Everything was running so smoothly, all according to plan, what he didn’t take into account was the heroes using you as leverage against him. Using you as bait, an innocent citizen who happened to be involved with him. You’d never done anything, you’d never hurt anyone, let alone kill. You let others walk over you, you kept quiet and minded your own. You were there to calm him down after one of his sprees. You were there when he got stuck in his mind, you were always there, a reassuring smile always present. They used you. For their own benefit, but they took it too far.

How could they call themselves heroes? They murdered you in cold blood, for the purpose of “gaining intel”. Right in front of his eyes.

It started off as just holding you captive, to holding you right in front of him, you yelled out that everything was okay, your smile still present, but the “heros” were losing their patience, your restraints were tightened more so, almost crushing your windpipe, and even though you couldn’t speak, you let your eyes do the talking, your smile, still so bright. How it always is, as if nothing was happening.

“That fucking idiot. I’ll kill you, heroes.” He whispered, a slight chuckle escaping, not knowing they would take it further.

But it all happened so quickly, and though it wasn’t exactly on purpose, due to all the ruckus, they let go of the rope that was to ensure you stayed atop the tall building. With every new move, and hit, the building shook, however you were still restrained, you couldn’t move, and you couldn’t talk either, to call for help. You stayed there silently, much like before, but you had a gut feeling that something, something was going to happen.

And finally, you were at the edge. It was just you, the pros, and your dearest shiggy. The rest of the LOV was down on the street level fighting the odds down there,and your destiny was to join them.

You fell off, quickly catching the attention of all those still on the roof. Shigaraki dashed to the edge, but it was too late, all he could see from the top was your eyes, still talking, he could hear them trying to chuckle, and tell a joke, as if… nothing was happening. You knew it was too late, at the speed you were exaggerating, and Shiggy’s drained power, there wasn’t anything you, or he could do. The rest of the LOV was caught up in their own battles.

But time seemed to freeze. All of Shigaraki’s memories with you flashed before him, as if it was him, who was the one plummeting to his death. You smile, your laugh, the way your bodies melted together on the lairs run-down couch. He could feel your hand on his shoulder, still rubbing calming circles in attempts to soothe him, but he knew he was just imagining it, because he saw you, right in front of him, slowly falling to your death.

Everything around you had slowed down, in a sense of remorse for you. The light shower of rain turned to a down pur, as the sky wept, along with him. The deadly silence turned to a roaring of thunder and the screeches and pleas of Shigaraki, wishing for this all to be a nightmare, one where he would wake up and see you beside him, huddling in for warmth, one where he’d awaken and you would go back to living your lives like before, but that wasn’t the case. He saw the restraint catch on the side of the building, snapping your neck.

And as your dead lifeless skull continued to plummet, your body, specifically your hand stayed right where he could see it. Edging him for the fury that was no to unleash, with his beloved now forever gone, as they await him in whatever afterlife is in store.
