you had heard about him. heard about how he wasn't good enough for you, and that you shouldn't get involved. you never were a good listener, and soon enough you became involved with him. despite the little voice in your head telling you to let go, you couldn't. it wasn't supposed to be forever, and you were okay with that. initially anyway. catching feelings for something that would end in disaster... but you couldn't end it. not yet. just how deep did you dive into whatever this was? you couldn't pinpoint when it went south, but did that matter? you were too far gone. the anticipation grew the longer this lasted, and in a bout of stress, you blurted out your confession. not your finest moment, and you were sure he'd shun you for good. turn his back on you and walk away, leaving you to mend your broken heart. he didn't though. he just stood there, with his stupid smirk that made you fall for him to begin with, confessing the same words you all but screamed at him moments ago.

Anon, I appreciate you sending this because, right now, I feel like an elite status female rapper. Like CL from 2NE1 rapped in their 2011 hit, "I am the best", Be On Cloud owns me, and y'all can't tell me shit about this show.

I know I have some Wild Ass Theories and I'm always clownin' in these BL streets, but I love when my theories actually hit their target like . . .

When I knew Teacher Chadok was in a relationship with Teacher Dika since the first episode of The Eclipse.

When I knew Kanghan's house was going to be robbed and his dad would be shot since the third episode of Dangerous Romance, even though I thought Saifah would do it.

When I knew Pat was working with Joke to win over Zo since the first episode of Hidden Agenda.

I love making Wild Ass Theories no matter how crazy they are, like my belief that the twins' dad is involved in this whole murder and sex work plot in Playboyy. No matter what happened in this past episode, I still believe it and am eagerly awaiting the upcoming chaos to see how hard I clowned.

Which is why I LOVE Dead Friend Forever.

I want the record to state that no matter what happens after episode seven, that at this exact moment in time, I love this show. It makes me happy to be alive at the same time this is airing, and I'm not joking. I want to remember that at one point, this show was everything to me, and even if it goes down hill, it had all my attention in the first seven episodes. I want to appreciate it right now because regardless of what happens, it did everything right in the first half.

With the way some shows keep losing their footing in the end, sometimes we forget how good they were in the beginning, and the emo in me doesn't want to forget this feeling. Some of my favorite movies are Scream, Heathers, and Jawbreaker so this show has been giving me the explicitly queer version of kill your frenemies since the very first episode, and I love it.

My internal alarm went off the second Tee got upset that Phi was speaking to White in episode one, then the dark hand touched him making him enemy #1. I didn't like the way he told White he needed to obey him, and I feel like the dark hand wasn't too pleased with it either. It was a vibe.

And now Non has a hurt hand in the past from falling off the bike . . .

Then, Jin was the main character of the previous film, so he was either the killer or the biggest baddie.

But Phi was just so sus, that I clocked him as a killer.

Which meant Phi and Jin were the killers, but Tan has no backstory and people with no history are intentionally hiding it, so they can kill everyone and peace out.

So in my mind, Tan and Phi were regulated to the killers, Tee was the second to last to die, which I'm hoping it's by his boyfriend White who he thinks disobeys him, and the rest of the squad would die as needed. Which left Jin to be the baddie.

All of my theories could blow up at any second because we don't know if Jin actually sent that video or if his computer fizzled out before it finished uploading, so he could still be a killer avenging Non instead of a baddie who wronged Non (but he took the video and that is messed up regardless of what he planned to do with it).

But either way, I'm hoping it comes down to Phi and Jin in that forest because the show started with them.

And I don't think Jin realizes who Phi is to Non since Jin never got a good look at Phi's face in the past.

The Twitter folks spotted that Phi's dad was the police chief from the letters the boys got calling them in for interrogation in episode six.

And now the knife from episode two is showing up in the past in Non's backpack.

Up until this point, I feel the show has laid out a solid story with a good cast, and I think Be On Cloud relied on their KinnPorsche casting to throw people off in this show because who expected Us to be doomed in the first episode? That was like Drew Barrymore dying at the beginning of Scream.

People have felt off about JJ's character, but the show wouldn't really have JJ do anything bad to sweet Barcode, right?

And Barcode and Ta being paired together was a pipe dream for the Macau x Porchay shippers, so it could never happen here!

Especially because Ta and Copper won The Hidden Character, which meant they were going to be the main pair of this show, right?

WRONG!

Barcode is gonna be involved in some fucked up shit, and according to those MDL comments, people are realizing they messed up making any assumptions before this show started based on what the actors previously did.

I truly feel like BOC looked at its lineup and said "Baby Barcode was babygirled so hard for the past two years that the audience won't even think his character is capable of such things"

and I love that for us.

BOC gave these youngsters (19-23 in age) a script from Dr. Sammon and the Pit Babe writers and said "go HAM, bitches"

And the audience stays winning.

This isn't about my Wild Ass Theories coming true. This is an appreciation post for what this show has given to me up until this point - a good mystery.

Every week I have more questions and none of them feel like they will go unanswered. Is Non dead? Did Jin actually upload the video? Is Tan a killer? Why did Phi hook up with Jin? Will White finally snap, crackle, and pop like a bag of Rice Krispies treats for the mere fact that he simply wanted a nice weekend getaway with his boyfriend and now has to deal with all this bullshit?

But most importantly, when did Phi realize he was going to kill all of them after making them run around scared for their lives?

Because by time the show makes it back to the present day, I'm sure we're all going to want to watch these kids suffer in the worst ways possible.

I genuinely want to know why the song When I'm Clownin is taking over my family like fucking kudzu. It's fucking hypnotizing them. I genuinely don't think any of them like it but they will for no logical reason play it repeatedly, like the song has some weird hold over them and it's basically just 50% circus sound effects. I was hearing this song 8 times a day when my boyfriend was home.

This isn't the first time something this has happened either. Like they're sleeper agents with the most random triggers but they're just activated to irrationally consume some particular form of media repeatedly against their own rational will. This also happened with a Christmas movie called the alphabots that was JUST ROBOTS SAYING THE ALPHABET FOR 2 HOURS AND IT WAS MY MIDDLE AGED DAD WATCHING IT

This is my first year actually getting involved in fandom, and its been so good to get involved!

How many words have you written this year?

On AO3: 4,164 Galladrabbles: 2,100 WIP: TOO MANY! I'm talking 13,000 at minimum because I am incapable of sticking to one work at the one time. (One document says I have 32,000 words but I'm ignoring that at the moment. I refuse to acknowledge whatever is going on over there)

How many works did you publish this year?

Just the one, technically! One AO3 fic and 21 drabbles here.

What work are you most proud of (regardless of kudos/hits)?

My very first Galladrabble, Pyrrhic, is something I'm pretty proud of mainly because it was me taking my first steps back into writing again. I'm also still pretty amused that I rocked up after lurking so long and just opened my trenchcoat to reveal war angst.

What work of yours got more feedback than you expected?

Literally any, I have posted so rarely that any time anybody interacts I'm like holy fuck I forgot other people could see that.

Favorite title you used.

I only used one: Clownin' Around. And I used it on account of Mickey being a clown.

I don't usually write full fics inspired by song lyrics, but I have done a few Galladrabbles and I did temporarily lose my mind over Imogen Heap's Clear the Area.

All of them. I will carry them with me and the bag of WIPs will get bigger. That being said I'm reeeeaaally trying to finish one so I can work on my big huge one that I'd love to create. So I suppose a big focus on two, with a couple of one-shots that I think I can manage before my brain demands I make several other ones instead.

It's gotta be Mickey. In that big huge WIP I mentioned above, I'm writing from his perspective and it's very fun to try and get the balance between between hating authority and being forced to work with them.

they have a simple view of the world. food? check. water? check. flute? check. there we go . iri doesn't care for hearth and home, they dont care for society and cities and culture and leaders and dukes. they are, quite literally, Vibing. the camping life with the squad is literally heaven. instead of doing this alone, and admittedly being bad at it and lonely, poor in so many ways, their heart is FULL. they are surrounded by people they never want to leave! never want to lose! even if they don't like iri that much, even if they're mean, cruel, even a little evil at times! these are her people. this is a found family through and through and They Come First. along with her own personal freedoms (which are Their personal freedoms, in her mind), . and completing this quest? that'll make everyone leave. sad iri time. mayhaps a sad little tune will make them want to Stay.

iri will lie and cheat and steal and manipulate and trick . iri LOVES vicious mockery (spell) and finds thinking up insults to be really funny! true entertainment! there isn't much of a concept of This is Cruel. or This is Mean. behaviour though. naive and simplistic! they're just having a laugh. a lil clownin around. it's fun!!!! like oh, u had a reaction to that vicious mockery? that means.. afhiri did Good. she is a good person, she has a heart of gold, i think! she just doesn't understand, and no one can make her understand. brain wired to weirdo coded. a crowd of boos are just as much attention as a crowd of cheers, after all!

you could call them selfish but that's entirely untrue. they are absolutely in the truest of senses unselfish, and every action made is a selfless act, all their decisions in the game are based on whether it will make someone happy. but that doesn't always mean its the right choice! it doesnt always mean this is morally correct! sometimes she peeps over her shoulder and looks at her most blessed moral compasses for help (gale, wyll and karlach are the go-tos. lae'zel when it's Scary...) Generally if its something her moral compasses would do she will do it, but sometimes she cannot help but act on her own (no one thinks this is wise- but they are supported all the same).

her moral compass does shift upon the influence of her friends but lets admit our friends don't have the best moral compasses across the board, even her dear gale be approving of some Sick and Twisted stuff and be desiring power like it's his favourite Wine. when you can be swayed incredibly easy by those u will do anything to keep with you because u want them around, so, so badly, you can be influenced to do terrible things as well! and sometimes its as easy as "hey. do bad." and they'll be like ok :) i do bad :)

Dangerous Romance Wild Ass Theory

Sailom's brother is getting arrested in front of Kanghan's house. The Picasso painting on the left is the same. Also there is a paramedics blue jacket on the left.

So he'll probably be the one to call the cops.

So while Sailom and Kanghan are out together, Saifah breaks into the house and someone gets injured (paramedic jackets) so this is a hospital right? Sailom is wearing the same shirt and Kanghan looks a bit upset.

Is the same night as the shower scene

And they appear in an office before that?

Wild Ass Theory - Saifah breaks into Kanghan's house and someone gets injured. It better not be the grandma, so . . . let it be the dad (edit: the dad because he keeps sneaking up on Kang and is home when Kang doesn't think he will be hence he will surprise the robbers by being home)! Kanghan calls it in, Saifah goes to jail (don't ask if he did it because I can't get that wild yet). Kanghan thinks Sailom had some part in it since he has been to his house so they fight and lean back into their old dynamic. This is when Sailom starts escorting perhaps since Name approaches him at work. They get pulled into a police office or the school office, argue again, Sailom leaves but gets shot at. Kanghan rescues him. They make up!

I don't feel like I'm clownin', y'all.

This is on that "Dika and Chadok are together in The Eclipse" feeling I got.
