finally did a little of the organizing i’ve been meaning to do for ages and of course it wasn’t even that bad other than how hot it is in the attic, it didn’t take much time and i was able to make some floorspace though of course i still have all the legos i need to deal with and i pulled out a couple more things to go through/get rid of BUT it looks slightly less horrible in my room so i’m pleased

plus i have had some other ideas recently about switching some drawers around, it would just be a whole thing to do that so i really wanna think on how best to go about it before i start making that mess

#personal #was so excited though bc i decided i wanna reread the american girl books in fact i'm sure there's quite a few i never got to #and we still have a ton probably virtually everything we ever had actually #but i still had a couple clothing items that didn't sell and i was just like oh man i loved this shit so much #and there was a catalog i guess that we used for pricing and there was so much good shit in there #what i would've given for one of their fancy beds omg #i could've done that i suppose but i cared more about saving up for more dolls #and at least their clothing my mom would get that stuff as gifts so ik i had a lot #plus i used some of the our generation stuff #which ik my niece has so i should see if she's still into them and would want the american girl outfits #but yeah did i NEED to add more books to my current rotation? no but they're easy reads #and when i'm done i'll be getting them out of the house so i'm helping bc my mom has been so desperately trying to get rid of stuff lol #truly could not believe how much stuff has truly just sat since our last garage sale which would've been WELL over a decade ago #i guess it was kinda thought anything that didn't sell we would try again but. did not.#OH and when i was looking up american girl stuff i was reminded of the girls of the world dolls and i had two of those #and i never would've remembered their existence otherwise kjsdkjfs there's been so much of that lately like #the amount of forgotten childhood stuff is wild
