pairing: niki x gn!reader genre: fluff wc: approximately 500 ?? synopsis: you're at the beach with niki and have your first kiss with him warnings: kissing obviously, niki was being a little bold for a sec then got shy hehe, lowercase intentional ➜ a/n: this is my first time writing hope you guys enjoy it 😞

you listen to the sounds of waves crashing every so often with the feeling of the slight breeze running through your hair.

you’re walking side by side with niki when all of a sudden something suddenly catches your eye and you reach down to grab it.

"hey, niki look at this" you chirped out as you turn to show him a seashell you had found "look how pretty it is" you hold your arm out to show him while you’re still staring at it in your hand not bothering to look up at him.

"yeah it's super pretty" he mumbles out not bothering to look at the shell but rather at you. "I know right look at how pretty the color is and the way its shaped" you excitedly say as you continue to ramble about the shell completely fascinated by the little thing.

he motions his hand to move your hair away from your face and tucks it behind your ear slowly moving his hand to your chin while lightly titling your head up making you look at him. you suddenly stop your little ramble you didn’t even realize that was still going on and look at him confused.

"what's wrong did something happen" you asked him slightly puzzled. "no it’s just that youre much more prettier then that seashell” he says while maintaining eye contact giving you a soft smile.

you feel yourself getting flustered at the sudden boldness from him "o-oh thank you" you barely managed to stammer out felling the tip of your ears turn red as you struggle to hold eye contact with him.

"can I ask you something" he softly whispers out as his hand now moves to your cheek slightly caressing it with his thumb "yeah what it is..." you barely manage to answer him, face now red from how flustered he's making you with all his attention

"can...can i kiss you..maybe..perhaps.. it’s fine if you don’t want to but-" he stammers out the tips of his ears turning red in the process.

you cut him off by letting out a soft laugh, you look at him with a soft expression talking in a soft voice “hurry up and kiss me you dork.”

niki doesn’t wait another second as he leans down to kiss you while his hands move to your waist pulling you close as your hands snake around his neck dropping the seashell that’s long forgotten at this point.

the kiss lasts for a few seconds when you both finally pull away and look at each other smiling like two idiots in love.

the warm feeling of the sun hitting your face along with the butterflies in your stomach as niki was staring at you in such a lovingly way was truly a date to remember.

a/n: i lowk hate this, this is my first time writing and i feel like i can do so much better but i just want to get a post out so this will have to do for now 💔 hope u guys like it tho ☹️
