‘ it doesn’t do good to overthink ’

that's what they always say, isn't it? that worrying about something too much is pointless, that dwelling over what ifs isn't a good way to spend one's time. she is perfctly aware of this, she has been for as long as she can remember. but hypocrisy is her middle name, and it's only to be expected that she ignores the advice she frequently gives to others. to anyone else, she'd insist that everything would be fine, that it would all be okay. to herself? she's been saying for a while now that it might as well be the end. a tad dramatic? ...maybe, but that's never stopped her before.

" yes, i know that. i've said the same to many others. but it's not that easy to just stop. impossible, really. for me, anyway. " aggravation at her own state etches itself onto her expression in the form of a frown, paired with an annoyed huff. she's wound up here more times than she count, though she usually doesn't have an audience. especially not an audence consisting of one of the most laid back people she's ever met. which, of course, begs the question, " how do you do it? er, how do you stay so carefree all the time, i mean. i don't think i've ever seen you worry about a thing.
