Well, maybe not, as I have a fan as kinda like white noise, but I can sleep without it. Did you do well at fitness testing in grade school? I didn’t score bad, but I wasn’t exceptional either. Do you own more shoes or less shoes than the average person? Less, I’m sure. Do you still have anything from when you were a baby? Yeah, up in the attic. I think my mom has some stuff that’s super important to her in a case somewhere. Do you use hairspray much? I never do. Are art museums interesting or boring to you? I enjoy them. What subject in school do you feel is the least necessary? Well, this is a difficult question to answer when you consider I think depending on your career focus as well as personal values and interests, this answer changes from person to person. Like for me, I could say I don’t give a shit about complex math, but advanced math courses would be valued by certain people down specific paths. But anyway, I’ll bite and say least necessary for *the most* people, in my opinion anyway. Gym. It’s very discriminatory towards people with more limited physical capabilities (and I don’t just mean literally disabled), and it’s also just very uncomfortable and/or embarrassing to some people. Like I’d fuckin cry if in my current state, I was forced to “run” a mile, because I physically couldn’t come even close. A person, a younger one especially, should never be subjected to humiliation at the hands of a class schools deem “necessary” when it absolutely is not. Okay I’m in a talkative mood and this is turning into an essay so I’mma move along now. When you were a kid, what games did you always play on the playground? I think for as long as I had recess, my go-to was ALWAYS the swings. I fucking loved swingsets. I loved playing 4 Square or whatever it was called. And then of course there was me digging tunnels in the sandboxes because I wanted to feel like a meerkat lmfao. Do you enjoy power outages or do you get annoyed? For some reason, I still have this childlike excitement *early* into a power outage. Especially when it’s dark and we have to get out the candles, and I might play my old GameBoy or Nintendo DS, or I’ll probably just chill talking with Mom. However, that phase is pretty short nowadays, being a snake mama. My mind very quickly goes back to “Venus needs her lamp,” so as time passes, I get more anxious than annoyed. Basically, I’d rather not have one. Do you know how to use an ATM? … no lmao How about write a check? No. Are you pretty politically correct? To a degree I consider reasonable. Personally I find political correctness as having gone too far by now, but it’s certainly appropriate in some instances. What is one fashion trend you'll never understand? I… don’t really care to think much on this. Wear what makes you feel confident in yourself. There are things I think don’t look good, but they may look great to you, and it’s on your body, so guess whose opinion matters. What do you wear when you exercise? Oh yeesh. Just sweatpants and a tank top, normally. What is usually the last thing you do before you go to bed? I turn the brightness on my phone waaay down. I’m always going to wake up throughout the night and check the time, but I don’t want to be blinded.

"Today is going to be a weird day", I thought to myself as I limped down the last two stairs of my house. I had just gotten dressed about thirty minutes ago and was now just coming downstairs because I had to wrap up my ankle. I had fractured it a few weeks ago while practicing for one of my shows and ended up falling off of the makeshift stage. The good thing is that nobody such as fans or paparazzi saw it happen so that meant that you wouldn't have to worry about it being all over the internet, but the bad thing is that it still happened and it hurt like hell. Once I got down the stairs I was greeted by my dog Winter and her smiling face.

Winter is a black and white Siberian husky with white eyes and she's like my keeper whenever I'm not well. "Hey, girl how are you", I said petting her on the head. Her smile grew even bigger and she wagged her tail. I limped past her and sorta threw myself onto my sectional couch in the living room and turned on the TV. I looked down at my phone to check the time and also see if I had any missed calls.

You see the thing is I was supposed to be taking a tour of the WWE Performance Center today with my cousin Sabrina

and her boyfriend Colby (aka Seth Rollins)

{A/N: To those who read my Seth Rollins story His Queenslayer this isn't a spoiler. They aren't dating, but they're so close that it fools everyone. To those who haven't read it but are fans of Seth please feel free to, but that's only if you want to} and I was super excited. We would be getting to see some of the newer stars or I guess you could say the stars of tomorrow and also Rae (Sabrina's nickname) was gonna show me where I could rehab my ankle. I'm not sure how I was gonna feel about that because I didn't want to seem like a damsel in distress whenever I did something that was going to make me feel uncomfortable for a bit. Not only that, but we were going to go to a promo class and honestly I felt slightly offended. Was she trying to say that I couldn't talk, or was she just doing it just to do it?

       I had already done this stuff years ago in OVW {A/N: Ohio Valley Wrestling which used to be a territory for WWE} and I'm pretty sure that if I wasn't good at it that I wouldn't have been a multiple time champion. I worked my ass off to earn everything I'd ever done with no silver spoon from my uncle. My parents raised me to be one tough SOB mostly my mom though because she never wanted people to think "Oh she's Vince's niece that's why she gets title shots". So hopefully this promo class was just one of Sabrina's spontaneous acts... or I was gonna cause a scene. In all honesty, I wanted to slap her, but that was just Sabrina.

She loved to be spontaneous and just randomly throw things at you (not literally...unless you were Enzo Amore. Man, she strongly disliked Enzo and I didn't even know who the hell he was. All I knew is that she couldn't stand the boy. According to Colby, I'd understand when I finally met him). If you wanted a surprise party call, Sabrina, you get set up on a blind date with someone you like, but are too afraid to ask out more than likely Sabrina had something to do with it, you wanted to do something at the last minute Sabrina was your girl to do it with you, and if you want to be volunteered into something that you have no say so in really...look no further than Sabrina.

I, on the other hand, was the total opposite of that. I was the introvert who knew how to hide it behind a don't look at me, don't speak to me, don't even breathe near me attitude. So basically I was a badass who wasn't that bad once you broke down her walls. Honestly, I wasn't always a big fan of Sabrina doing this kind of thing. So when Colby who is and isn't my best friend told me that Sabrina randomly signed us up to take a promo class I was beyond pissed.

Of course to my dismay, I had to be the "professional one" which meant that I put on my fakest smile and acted so happy about being told the news. Unfortunately, on the inside, I felt like wanting to strangle her. As a matter of fact, I pictured her being a Barbie doll and just popping her head off. You wanna know why I pictured her as a Barbie? It's simple everyone knows that when Barbie's head goes bye, bye there's usually no way to fix it.

There were so many questions were swirling around in my mind and I didn't know how to take it. Not to mention she wanted me to meet someone there and I wasn't sure why. It's not that I didn't like meeting new people (I mean I didn't really because I was super shy which is hard to believe, but it's just part of life)...it's just that I didn't like being put into awkward situations which I felt she was going to do. It was weird just thinking about the whole thing because for someone who was dating Colby... (I think) she sure did sing this guy's praises. I could cringe just thinking about the things she would say about the guy.

He's a prince, he's hot, he's got pretty eyes, he's not that much taller than you, did I mention he's gorgeous. The list could go on for literally hours and honestly if I didn't have a clue I'd say she was trying to sale the guy or something. Like seriously let me be the judge for myself and why did it feel like she was trying to set me up on a date. I hated that kind of thing and she knew it. It just seemed like she was going to make me hate the dude before I ever met him and of course, Colby was never any help he'd join in on the fun.

I had a feeling that I was going to punch one or both of them during the car ride and I didn't know why. I was mindlessly running through channels when all of a sudden I heard my cat Prince hiss and growl which meant that someone was there that he didn't like or didn't feel safe around. Prince was always like a protector to me and he usually liked everyone, but sometimes he'd hiss at people that would walk by or on his property {A/n: This technically has nothing to do with the story, but my cat actually does that to males who walk by our house that he doesn't know and it's hilarious}. It was kind of funny and sad at the same time because he scared the mailman once and for some reason didn't like Colby. According to Colby, I made Prince hate him which is an obvious lie because if that was true my dogs would've been after him as well and they seemed to adore him.

My Rough Collie Adonis especially adored him...he adored Colby so much that he got excited on him once or twice. I heard car doors open and shut and voices as well which caused me to mute the television that was currently on an episode of SpongeBob. "I'm not going all the way up there her cat is already making noises at me", one of the voices said. The voice sounded like Colby and if it was he was right Prince was making noises at him. "How would you know that he's making noises at you?

The window is shut so for all you know Prince could be saying hello", the other voice said. The second voice sounded like Sabrina, but I didn't feel like getting up to answer the door plus she had said that she was going to call when she had got here which she didn't. "Sabrina I know he's not making friendly noises. I can't prove it because I can't hear him, but I can just see the hatred in his eyes. He hates me and she made him do it", the first voice said.  

Hearing the first voice talk again confirmed that it was Sabrina and Colby which would explain why Prince was currently hissing even more. I'm not sure what Colby ever did him, but there was a strong dislike there and it was kind of funny. I groaned and started to pull myself up from my laying position on the couch and saw both Adonis and Winter standing up to wait for me. I adored those two hell I loved all of my animals just the same because of their amazing personalities. I grabbed my crutches and started to limp over to the door when I heard the doorbell ring.

"Sabrina I swear if I get bit because of you I'm not talking to you for a week", Colby said. "Oh my God Seth get over yourself her cat isn't going to attack you. I mean sure I don't think he likes you very much, but he hasn't ever attacked you has he", Sabrina asked. Sabrina only ever called Colby Seth if they were around anyone in WWE or if she was getting annoyed by him and I'm assuming that he was annoying her. I rolled my eyes while listening to him complain about Prince because honestly, it was getting on my nerves.

Trust me, Colby, if Prince wanted you he would've got you by now. When I was close to the door they ringed the doorbell again. Really can't you give people who are on crutches a moment to get to the god damn door before you start bum rushing? "Shouldn't we have called her like you said we were going to? I mean what if she's still sleeping", Colby asked.

She better not still be asleep. I told her to be up bright and early and to look cute. I want to make sure that she looks perfect whenever she meets Ferg", Sabrina said. What the fuck is a Ferg? "Oh so now we're going by nicknames?

I see how it is Sabrina...now I'm not going to sit with you. I'm sitting in the backseat with my best friend Alexandra", Colby said. I looked at the door and then at the mirror that was near it. Did I really just sale myself out to be part of one of Sabrina's crazy schemes? Also what the hell are those two idiots talking about?

"Fine by me you can run to Alexandra all you want. Also, I'm pretty sure that she's not still sleeping because the blinds are up for Prince to look out. Oh and so you know I didn't feel like calling her have you ever thought of that", Sabrina asked. "Fine, then she's either upstairs or walking really slow. Or maybe just maybe she knows what you're up to and is running away which if she is I wouldn't blame her", Colby said.

Shut up Colby...is what I wanted to say when I finally reached the door, but then I thought about it and started to get suspicious. What is he talking about? What does Sabrina have planned for me? Should I run...is it too late to run and who is Ferg? Going by Colby's words it's a nickname for someone, but who...is he the guy that Sabrina wants me to meet?

Why is it so important? I started to get nervous and my palms felt sweaty. Colby and Sabrina were still fussing outside, but I tuned them out and tried to calm down. It's ok Lex everything is fine there's nothing to be afraid of. I was stilling trying to calm myself down when I heard an unlocking noise which must've meant that Sabrina was using the spare key that I had hidden under a fake rock. She didn't know that I was behind the door so when she opened it, it hit me upside the head and I fell backwards and hit the ground hard.

QUESTIONS FOR YOUR OCs

What’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do?

like three seconds ? jiwon has the attention span of a goldfish and must be constantly entertained otherwise he’ll die

How easy is it for your character to laugh?

so, so, so easy ! my boy is a ray of sunshine. he’s laughing at his own goddamn joke before he even tells it.

How do they put themselves to bed at night (reading, singing, thinking?)

listen ? whale songs and all that cutesy stuff ? for losers. if you’re a real alpha you surf youtube for eight hours till your eyes straight up don’t work anymore.

How easy is it to earn their trust?

surprisingly difficult. jiwon has a big circle of acquaintances that he’ll do a lot of things for but if you want to know the man’s deepest darkest insecurities you won’t get them very easily. he has only four or so friends that he would trust that shit to.

How easy is it to earn their mistrust?

again, not very easy. jiwon is not very good at cutting people out, and he tends to keep giving people second chances to sully his trust again and again. save this fool.

Do they consider laws flexible, or immovable?

laws are generally there for a reason, and jiwon respects most of them. and the fact that they exist makes it all the more fun for him to try and break some of the lesser ones like speeding laws. on a scale of 0 meaning inflexible to 10 meaning ‘a light suggestion’, jiwon considers laws to be a 6. 

What triggers nostalgia for them, most often? Do they enjoy that feeling?

meeting younger people and generally being in environments previously visited may sometimes trigger a feeling of nostalgia in him. but this isn’t very frequent. he’s always thinking about the new, not the old. the rare times he does experience nostalgia, he can get kind of mournful about it — where did the good old days go.

What were they told to stop/start doing most often as a child?

child jiwon was louder and more confrontational than adult jiwon. one story i am absolutely convinced happened was that he was painting in the first grade when the teacher came up to him, looked at his work and said ‘it’s wonderful but don’t you think it needs more colour?’ so my man jc dipped his fingers in paint and held her cheeks saying ‘you need more colour!’ so, yeah, he definitely was told to be nicer and more respectful.

Do they swear? Do they remember their first swear word?

jiwon swears without abandon, but doesn’t have a natural inclination towards especially vulgar words. his first swear word was probably 년 ( equivalent of bitch ). likely directed at his sister.

What lie do they most frequently remember telling? Does it haunt them?

jiwon’s parents and sister are pretty liberal, and he’s managed to get his way without offending them too much. he’s only ever frequently lied to teachers about work and skipping classes, and occasionally to the house warden about why his window was open, and why so many stones were thrown at the finley hall down the street. no, it absolutely doesn’t haunt him; it’s too insignificant.

How do they cope with confusion (seek clarification, pretend they understand, etc)?

ask. ask like sixty questions. sometimes he’ll play devil’s advocate and poke holes in people’s knowledge. just as a test, you know.

How do they deal with an itch found in a place they can’t quite reach?

you know how baloo in the jungle book rubs against a tree when his back itches. yeah. he tries to make it look natural. 

What color do they think they look best in? Do they actually look best in that color?

i mean, jiwon’s face and body ensures that he looks good in any colour. and he also believes he looks good in any colour. 

What animal do they fear most?

listen. jiwon doesn’t trust horses. back when he was 14 or so, he wanted to learn to ride and for some reason the horses didn’t take to his absolutely irresistible charm. the one called johnny knocked him off after less than ten seconds. other than that he’s also not a fan of rats and crows.

How do they speak? Is what they say usually thought of on the spot, or do they rehearse it in their mind first?

jiwon speaks with ease, he’s fluent in the language of flattery and charm. he hates to put too much thought it what he says, and can end up mumbling a lot if he’s distracted. 

What makes their stomach turn?

the idea that one day he’ll have to start wearing suits and talking to shareholders and live a normal, boring working life. oh, and rollercoasters and oysters. 

Are they easily embarrassed?

jiwon is near impossible to embarass. his confidence in himself mixed with a natural talent at shrugging what may even be serious things off as jokes enables him to take everything in his stride. compliment him ? he’s flattered. insult him ? he’s unbothered. upload a picture of him spongebob underpants on twitter ? he’ll retweet with 😍.

What embarrasses them?

the only thing that might embarass him to any degree is being reprimanded in public. he has an image as a good boy gone bad with a heart of gold that’s he’s cultivated in the years he’s been on social media. so interrupting that with a lecture about responsibility in public ? no thanks. 

What is their favorite number?

10. a perfect score, his birthday, just a nice number. 

If they were asked to explain the difference between romantic and platonic or familial love, how would they do so?

jiwon doesn’t think about this much, but he doesn’t make a big difference between platonic and familial love. his best friends are family, and his sister is his best, best friend. he figures that romantic love and sexual attraction are correlated (which of course isn’t really true but). aka, if you wouldn’t mind banging them, you’re probably in romantic love.  

Why do they get up in the morning?

to upload a good morning ‘woke up like this’ selfie, duh. nah but on a more serious note — because each day is a day that he’s gonna have fun, right ? wrong.

How does jealousy manifest itself in them (they become possessive, they become aloof, etc)?

jealous jiwon is … messy. the last time jiwon got jealous was about his girlfriend in high school, and he made it a point to act extremely romantic and charming whenever rivals for her affection were around. that, and he was remarkably cruel with anyone he considered so. if he was ignored, he’d get mopey. 

How does envy manifest itself in them (they take what they want, they become resentful, etc)?

jiwon doesn’t feel envy one goddamn bit. life is so good, other people envy him. be a better bitch not a bitter bitch, is his motto. of course, it’s easier to be better when you’re the one with a hundred million wons to your name. 

Is sex something that they’re comfortable speaking about? To whom?

again, liberal family. jiwon has no trouble talking about sex. with his friend vicki from school, with hyeonjin (although he’d rather not hear), with anyone but family (for obvious reasons). he gets annoyed about the conservatism of society on the topic, especially among the elder generation. 

What are their thoughts on marriage?

marriage is — okay. he still feels way too young to be even thinking about marrying, but he’s not averse to the idea. 

What is their preferred mode of transportation?

jiwon’s very glad you asked. in the spring of his 19th year, god aka his father got him a ducati panigale bike to celebrate his graduation. that baby is his goddamn pride and joy, and he zooms everywhere he can on it. the only problem is that it’s constantly on and off — every time his mother hears of a new motorcycle accident she forbids its use. 

What causes them to feel dread?

the future in general. realising that he’s going to have to buckle down after college. also, i don’t know about you, but have you noticed that hyeonjin’s acting really weird lately ? like, he barely talks on the phone anymore, looks exhausted, goes out to strange places at night. weird. hope he’s okay. 

Would they prefer a lie over an unpleasant truth?

jiwon doesn’t like being lied to, period. hypocrite that he is, he has no trouble telling white lies to cover his ass. but, telling a lie to cover something unpleasant — he’d rather not. it’s him who’s going to deal with consequences if the truth comes out.  

Do they usually live up to their own ideals?

well, his ideal, so to speak, would be a legendary actor/musician with millions of adoring fans around the world. so no, he hasn’t really gotten to that point yet but he’s getting there, chill. 

Who do they most regret meeting? 

well, nobody. #noregrets. actually no there was this one bitch in 9th grade who used to keep calling him oppa even when he told her to quit —

Who are they the most glad to have met?

hyeonjin. best friends since they were like seven. haven’t ever had a major argument. plenty of minor ones, but what do you do. vicki, a closeted lesbian pal for whom jiwon was a beard for a couple of months. she’s amazing. 

Do they have a go-to story in conversation? Or a joke? 

at least six hundred. there was the time that he crashed his bike at his country club. another time that he almost died while on a glass bridge in the mountains in china. oh, how about that time that he was almost scouted for uh…. adult movies ? not exactly the talent range he was intending to go for.  

Could they be considered lazy?

if jiwon doesn’t want to do something, he won’t. and that’s the tea. he’ll get it done through a third party, or just let it die until he finishes it in a 2 am red bull panic. 

How hard is it for them to shake a sense of guilt?

obviously depends on the severity of the event, but in general — jiwon’s pretty good at moving on from things. he’s especially good at changing subject and throwing himself into something new, forgetting the past entirely. 

How do they treat the things their friends come to them excited about? Are they supportive?

ehhhhh a catch here. if you’re close to him, yes, he will try to be excited for you. but you can’t really force him to be excited about anything. if you start talking about how absolutely mindblowing axolotls are, he’ll nod and zone out. 

Do they actively seek romance, or do they wait for it to fall into their lap?

seek out. life’s too short for anything else. 

Do they have a system for remembering names, long lists of numbers, things that need to go in a certain order (like anagrams, putting things to melodies, etc)?

my man makes little jingles about everything. it’s honestly pretty annoying at this point. his magnum opus would have to be the english conjugation table rap. it was popular at his old school for months.

What memory do they revisit the most often?

memories are kind of fuzzy with him, he doesn’t remember the details of places as much as he does the feeling of them. some select memories are of dance nights at ketterbridge ( his english boarding school ) and holidays in jeju, kyoto, bangkok and hawaii. what can i say, he’s a big fan of beaches. 

How easy is it for them to ignore flaws in other people?

fairly easy. unless he’s being especially catty, which he certainly can be, people’s flaws don’t matter to him. he’ll make up for them. and if they share flaws ? too bad. the world will have to deal. 

How sensitive are they to their own flaws?

not much, no. i’d say his biggest flaw is detachment from reality and his sheltered lifestyle. he doesn’t know how to do anything on his own. if he was abandoned somewhere (not even like a deserted island, i’m talking apartment in seoul) he’d die. but because it’s unlikely he’ll ever have to be alone ( devil emoji at least that’s what he thinks ) he doesn’t really care about his own flaws.

How do they feel about children?

on surface level, jiwon looks amazing with kids. they’re funny, he’s funny, they’re reckless and silly, he’s reckless and silly. but jiwon would be an awful, awful father, and he knows it. handling a kid is too much work, he doesn’t like hanging with them, because it’s like hanging with slightly less capable clones. 

How badly do they want to reach their end goal?

here’s the thing. his end goal is to become a legendary actor/musician. the path he chooses to follow to get there is still really unclear in his head — he has an impression that it’ll just happen. 

If someone asked them to explain their sexuality, how would they do so?

jiwon would just say he likes cute girls, and because all girls are cute, he likes all girls. i envision him as bisexual with a ginormous preference for women. he definitely express attraction to men, but brushes it off as bro stuff. basically, when hyeonjin confesses to him later in the plot, he’s going to be pretty confused emoji. like … he’s straight … but he would maybe date hyeonjin ? he doesn’t mind the idea ? what

QUESTIONS FOR CREATORS

A) Why are you excited about this character?

he’s a dumbass !!! also his attitude makes him so much fun to write. constant quips and jokes and not taking anything seriously. also, karma is gonna get him very soon for that sheltered, pampered life he’s been living :) 

B) What inspired you to create them?

uhhh nothing tbh ? i needed a lighthearted foil in hyeonjin’s story, that’s really it, and he evolved over time to be this monstrosity. 

C) Did you have trouble figuring out where they fit in their own story?

not for the first little arc. but after that, absolutely idk what’s gonna happen to my son.

D) Have they always had the same physical appearance, or have you had to edit how they look?

actually, jiwon was supposed to be relegated to the position of minor character in hyeonjin’s story, and was never part of the eight mcs of this particular idea. later, after i dropped one of the characters because she was getting a bit controversial, i plopped him in. so his physical appearance was only properly defined once he became an mc. and it hasn’t changed since. 

E) Are they someone you would get along with? Would they get along with you?

i’d be filled with immense intrigue and admiration and also deep hatred. like he’s a goddamn idiot but i know i’d love his silly sense of humour and his attitude. 

F) What do you feel when you think of your OC (pride, excitement, frustration, etc)?

just — happiness tbh ? i lov him. he’s my son. 

G) What trait of theirs bothers you the most?

that he doesn’t NOTICE ANYTHING. ffs jiwon TAKE INTEREST in your surroundings and maybe then you’d realise that your friend is STRUGGLING WITH ADDICTION AND BEING INVOLVED IN ORGANISED CRIME. 

H) What trait do you admire most?

he’s just. impossible to insult. that kind of self esteem. where can i buy it. how much is it. is there a warranty

I) Do you prefer to keep them in their canon universe?

yes. although he’d fit in awfully well anywhere tbh. 

J) Did you have to manipulate or exclude canon factors to allow them to create their character?

yes, sort of. again, it was mostly related to fleshing out his history, getting a better idea of his family dynamics and so forth.

first of all, what. a. cutie.

probably the happiest little bean you know at college

he had gone on a gap year after high school so he was one of the older guys in your cohort but his baby face suggested otherwise

literally everyone thought he was one of those young geniuses that had skipped a couple of years of high school 

he is still pretty much a genius though

He’s a business and marketing major, and he just absorbs all the information in lectures like a sponge

maybe that’s why his spongebob impression is so superior

he’s such a people’s person and is so warm-hearted

everyone has a soft spot for him

heart of gold, so so friendly, to the point where you were pretty sure he was a real life angel

you barely saw him angry or annoyed but you had seen him upset once before because his best friend Taehyun was going on an exchange to a college overseas for the entire sophomore year and Sungwoon had cried in his room and refused to talk to anyone

you first met Sungwoon during orientation week as a freshman/first year

you had gotten kinda lost and overwhelmed by all the hustle bustle of the students around you and your roommate that you met a couple of hours earlier had disappeared amongst the crowd

all these seniors had leapt at the opportunity to convince you to join their clubs or organisations

which left you drowning in a sea of flyers

you tried to get the campus map out of your bag in attempt to find your way back to your room, but your hands were too full so a few pamphlets slipped out of them

as you went to pick them up, Sungwoon had already reached down and gotten them

you thanked him and he had smiled brightly before passing them back to you

“oh hey, I was thinking of joining that club too!” he had gestured to one of the many fliers you were holding

you hadn’t even had time to look at them yet so you had no idea which one he was referring to

“Maybe I’ll see you there!” he had beamed before heading off back into the crowd

you manage to reunite with your roommate after a little bit more searching and you both decided to head back to the dorm

You’re waiting for the lift to reach the ground floor because you refuse to climb 9 flights of stairs

as the door opens you see a familiar face

“Hey it’s you again!”

Sungwoon is standing there with one of your close high school friends, Hwang Minhyun

Minhyun looks between the two, “Sungwoon, you know y/n too?”

“I bumped into them before! They were holding a pamphlet for the ballad club that we were thinking of joining!”

He turns to look at you properly, “I’m Ha Sungwoon, I’m sure we’ll see each other lots this year y/n!”

You’re a bit taken aback by his positivity but it’s in a good way

Like you’ve never met someone with such a nice and welcoming aura

And it turns out that Minhyun and Sungwoon are roommates in the floor above you in the dorm

so you’d literally bump into them all the time

you’d lost count of how many times you’d now bumped into Sungwoon in the lift

He’d nudged your shoulder teasingly

“y/n, you’re not stalking me by any chance are you?”

After getting to know him you realised that Sungwoon was someone who was prepared for anything and everything

It started raining suddenly? Sungwoon’s got an extra umbrella

Feeling hungry? He’s got a special pocket in his bag full of snacks that could rival Ong Seongwoo’s.

You got a papercut? Sungwoon’s got a plaster, antiseptic, first aid kit, the whole shebang

The thing with Sungwoon though is that because he’s so nice to everyone it was easy to presume that he wasn’t flirting with yu

he’s just being the nice soul that he is

like you just assumed that he was this friendly to every person out there

so you never realised during lectures together last year, you were the source of his distraction

his eyes would wander over to your face admiring you from a distance

if you finished later than him for the day, he’d always wait for you in the library to walk back to the dorms with you

there was one day where your timetable was so packed that you barely had time to eat and Sungwoon had just pushed his lunch towards you insisting that he was full

it wasn’t only one way though, you had always been his biggest supporter

You’d go to all his singing performances, cheering him on loudly from the audience

you’d let him snooze on your shoulder whenever he hadn’t been getting much sleep which was often

so you were always worrying about his health because Sungwoon was someone who always put others before himself

He’s someone that you truly cherish in your life

You weren’t sure about your feelings for him, but after a long conversation with Minhyun, the two of you deduced that you indeed had a huge ass crush on Sungwoon

Minhyun was so fcking pleased because you had always nagged him about his crushes so now he could tease you about this one

And whenever he saw you and Sungwoon hanging out (which is often), he’d make little sassy remarks

“oh, guess I’m third wheeling again today!”

Fast forward to the start of your Junior year, you and Sungwoon had driven into the city to shop for new university supplies

The two of you have got the music turned all the way up and you’re both singing at the top of your lungs

Sungwoon’s phone starts ringing so he turns down the music and presses the answer button on the car dashboard (PSA never drive while using your phone!)

“SUNGWOOOON, where are you man?”

It’s Yoon Jisung, a senior and the ballad club leader

In the background you hear a commotion and snippets of conversation

You can clearly hear Minhyun’s low voice

“Jisung hyung, tell Sungwoon that he can’t come back today until he asks y/n out.”

Your eyes widen and you just look at Sungwoon who has gone a very bright shade of red

“Oh yeah, are you finally going to ask y/n out this year?!”

“I don’t know what’s stopping him, I’ve already told him that y/n likes him!” Hwang Minhyun, you traitor, how could you leak this info

“Because I swear, if I hear you gush over her again this year like you did for the entirety of the past 2 years of college I will banish you from the club”

“It’s getting hard for us Sungwoon, so we have to intervene.”

“Sungwoon?”

“Did he hang up on us? Oi, Ha Sungwoon, answer us!”

You’re still blinking rapidly at this discovery but it’s clear that Sungwoon is more shocked than you are at the current moment

You cough awkwardly and you can practically imagine all the guys on the other end of the phone freeze

“Uh…Sungwoon, i guess….you’re not alone….uh we’ll just…uh hang up now,,”

the line goes dead and the car ride just continues on in uncomfortable silence

you keep your eyes fixed to your hands that are fiddling in your lap not sure what to say

It’s so silent that it’s almost to the point where you feel like it’s suffocating you until Sungwoon finally speaks

“y/n, I hope this doesn’t change anything between us, but I guess seeing as I just got outed by the guys, I may as well come clean…”

He gives you a shy smile before returning his gaze to the road

You’ve actually never seen Sungwoon look so unsure and insecure before

“I really do like you. So much. But I totally get it if you like me as just a friend, i can imagine it’s probably quite awkward for you right now…”

You’re not sure if you’re imagining it, but you swear his hands are trembling from his nervousness as his hand tightens its grip on the gear stick of the car

Reaching over, you take his hand in yours and squeeze it gently

“Sungwoon, the feeling’s mutual, i really like you as well, and it’s been a long time too.”

And the sigh of relief that you hear from Sungwoon is the cutest thing ever

He squeezes your hand back, and runs his thumb gently across your knuckles

“You don’t know how much I’ve wanted to hear you say that yourself.”

you guys become the cutest campus couple ever

cute level = legendary

just the fact that you both look out for each other and everyone else around you, makes you such a loveable couple

also Minhyun tries to act all smug because he knew all along that you two were the perfect pair and always tries to take credit for your relationship

“Hwang Gallyang strikes again, I should just drop out and be a fortune teller.” 

And you and Sungwoon are just so done with him, like pls stop third-wheeling our dates hwang, we know you’re loud and proud about being a clairvoyant

but apart from that, you just have such a peaceful and happy relationship that’s full of a lot of adoration and warm hugs and kisses and whisperings of sweet nothings to each other
