i am generally enjoying this season, but i do have to admit that a lot of things feel very surface level and rushed. i just think if they'd stopped from trying to do absolutely everything it would have been beneficial?

#shadow and bone for ts #sab spoilers #there's a LOT going on #and it feels a shame #we have very few moments between characters that aren't to keep the plot moving forward?#a few ship moments which are beautiful #but where are my friendships?#the genya alina interactions that brought me such joy are sparce #we've had few and far moments between the crows that aren't ship moments #it's sad because one of my highlights of the first season were the friendships #all the dynamics felt fleshed out and you could really understand how all the characters fitted together #and i just feel like that's really missing #they've just tried to do TOO much and while it's been amazing for action it's starting to feel wearing
