i am proud of my sister. goodnight
#we had a long talk about pAtRiaRcHy and fEmiNisM tonight#she was always so out of her depth on all that. your typical girl who's not necessarily vile just. privileged inside the bubble#but she told me she had a revelation of sorts this week and holy shit! she really did#a lot of the stuff she talked about was something i went through years ago#she's just now catching up because she was always the conventionally attractive to boys type of girl#but her main pont was exactly how she never thought how much of all that was her and how much was just forced upon her#and how when she got hit by this revelation she talked to her boyfriend and how it brought them closer#i am.... fascinated she is so strong and smart#she's rlly smart but people see her as a dumb blonde since she also has an accent and is pretty standoffish#and she is also pretty. ha.#so its a struggle. she never thought before how sexualized everything is but it started bothering her#and like. there is nothing i can do except say how amazing it is thag she Understands#i cant even say we're in the same boat because me here has never been interesting to men in that way#i can just say i Know. you know? like. support her#and thats what i did for a few hours#and shes just. ugh. GOOD FOR HER i love her#i also respect her bf. hes a good man#a man but... she Knows that he is a Man now. yk what i mean#god thats so weird but she GETS IT!! she is AWARE of the SYSTEM#she knows now so its gonna be harder but also so much easier for her#ugh. rant over. good night🤧#mine
