unfortunately gay ppl in america are very much not immune to american weirdness about guns and im actually not involved in a lot of leftist activism primarily bc in utah since it's all weird white liberty and freedom type people the biggest leftist organization aside from the local dsa chapter is straight up called armed queers and this made me extremely uncomfortable even before my grandpa shot himself and not even just for that reason LMAO
