hey have you guys thought about the Caretaker being wherever they're needed at the drop of a hat and the implications behind that response time-
#I'm giving the Caretaker more roles at the Lighthouse beyond upgrading gear#they're very cool and I like the multi-faced mask hinting at their ability to split apart to be in more places when needed#I know we get a mundane messenger later on for actual letter delivery#but I also really like the idea of people chucking letters and packages through the mirrors for the gang#and the Caretaker just popping around to pick them up and leave them for everyone#it amuses me and seems kind of cute#I think they could have used the concept of the caretaker spirit more and shown them actually moving around the Lighthouse#picking things up or making comments about the companions making messes or having specific habits#it wouldn't have moved the plot or changed anything but it would have been charming#so I'm doing it myself!!#I like the funky little guy is all#and they deserve to be a little unnerving to mortals (like all spirits do)#I made myself coffee at 6am instead of going to bed and I've written like 500 words of the next chapter because of it#we're doing it gang maybe the weekly uploads will work#DAV Posting
