Ngl I really really like how dess has been handled in deltarune so far and that toby chose to make her this big Mystery Character who we got snippets of vague info about in the sweepstakes and who may or may not be talking to us in the code. With how heavily gaster theories have always dominated the undertale fandom (to the point of erasing alphys' actions), it's nice to have a mysterious female character to speculate on so heavily now.

Ofc that doesn't mean gaster isn't getting theories any more or anything, but I'm glad his spotlight is being shared now!
