I keep thinking about how when the bucktommy break up happened, I personally didn't feel like it was that final until I went online and read the "exit interview" (which I now know was done by someone with anti bucktommy lens) and saw all the posts and tweets of that side of fandom gloating and mocking our ship being "over", and I think of how they almost managed to rob us the enjoyment of the will-they-won't-they that we have happening. It's crazy to look back and see that all along we were never the delusional ones. The break up was never final, all the bumps in the road were/are just building up to something, Lou wasn't fired and Tommy wasn't meant to stay away for long, in fact the show keeps including Tommy and establishing his importance to Buck. So at this point I'm pretty unapologetic about being hopeful bc that's just me listening to what the show is saying and not letting the toxic wild-ass takes from antis make me doubt what is blatantly on my screen
