i still don't think anthony killed christopher btw
#literally all that we know is that the anthony we know now is willing to kill a person#not necessarily that flashback anthony was already willing to kill a person#which okay maybe he could be we don't know what his life looked like pre selection#but even if he was that still doesn't mean he would be okay with killing christopher specifically#we know near nothing about their relationship and the little we've been told didn't come from either of them#sure maybe anthony resented christopher's position as a shadow in comparison to his own as a living doll that's likely#and that could be the seed of what would later become murderous intent#but again we don't know that they could have had a more complicated relationship than that or maybe they even liked each other#just because we saw anthony kill a person doesn't mean he's incapable of feeling any sort of affection for anyone ever#as an aromantic person with a personality disorder i really don't like the implication of assuming that#moral corruptness goes hand in hand with an incapability of feeling love or affection for other people

Notes: This is a very humble, very fluffy one shot written for my most long-time Internet friend, Selina. We've been buddies since something like 2006, and while our interests vary, we've both recently returned to our love of Reborn, and thus resurrected our old OCs. She draws sketches of my main OC, Daisuke Fukuda, regularly, so I wanted to return the favor and write her a quick one shot to celebrate her main OC, Lin-Mei.
Just a few quick notes to make here without going into lengthy descriptions of Lin-Mei's character:
1. There's is no actual love triangle involving her, Gokudera, and Hibari. Although there are some storylines we follow where she ends up with Hibari instead, in the Gokudera "route," if you will, he's just paranoid about Hibari because he doesn't like him, and Hibari is a smug asshole who won't go out of his way to assure Gokudera that he isn't interested in "stealing" Lin-Mei from him.
2. While Lin-Mei is slightly younger than the main cast, there's not a huge age gap here. My head canon is that Hibari is old enough to be in high school during the main plot of Reborn!, so it stands to reason that Lin-Mei stays a little longer after she takes over the Disciplinary Committee as well.
3. If it matters at all to you, Lin-Mei's flame attribute is lightning. She's more affiliated with the Cavallone than with the Vongola (having been under Dino's care for several years), but she actually belongs to a specific Chinese assassin family and works for hire.
White Day Chocolates
Hayato Gokudera never had enjoyed his walks to Namimori Middle School. What a shitty trek to what was inevitably wasted time learning from teachers that didn't know what they were doing—or have any idea the massive disservice their dumbass lectures did to the great man within their midst! And there were so many obstacles to get to that waste of time, too. If it wasn't Haru cropping up to annoy everyone, it was that stupid cow causing problems. If it wasn't that stupid cow causing problems, it was Yamamoto breathing in the Tenth's general direction. If it wasn't Yamamoto breathing in the Tenth's general direction, it was group after group of girls who couldn't seem to stop giggling whenever they caught sight of Hayato. And while the first three issues weren't cropping up that afternoon, the last aggravation seemed worse than ever before.
"What are they teaching these idiots these days?" he grumbled as the latest bunch all elbowed each other at his approach. When one dared to meet his eyes, he finally snapped, "Don't you have more important things to do?"
His anger only caused them to titter more. Gritting his teeth, Hayato stalked off on his way. Clearly, there was no getting through to girls like that. Even Haru hadn't learned her lesson yet, and now he and she shared the same homeroom!
Soon the tall, faded school building rose above him. Even more girls in navy sweaters walked past him as he neared the gate, but they didn't stop to giggle. These girls were in more of a rush, and the air of nervousness about them was almost palpable. None of them so much as glanced at Hayato when he came to stop to look up at the clock. The positions of its hands told him he'd made it right on time.
He hadn't been back to Namimori in a long time. Why would he bother? Hayato was in high school now. The responsibilities placed on the Vongola Family grew every day, thus the responsibilities placed on the Tenth's right-hand man grew every day as well. Only people with nothing better to do would bother coming to their middle school just to loiter around the place and reminisce about where they had met their friends, held so-called sumo tournaments, and nearly died countless times. But the one person he could think of like that didn't seem to be around right then.
"Hayato! This is a surprise."
A cheerful, girlish voice in his ear made him jump. He turned to level a glare at whoever dared to giggle at his shock—but the girl standing next to him didn't giggle. She simply hid a smile behind her sleeve before clapping both her hands behind her back.
"Sorry," said Lin-Mei. "I just didn't expect to see you here."
The minute Hayato spotted her, the urge to scream had left him. In fact, he couldn't find his voice at all. His stomach felt a little like it did whenever he spotted his sister sans mask, only more pleasant somehow—probably because he could actually appreciate the way Lin-Mei looked. She'd pulled her brown hair up into a sweeping ponytail, and her spotless uniform differed from the rest of the girls' solely by the vivid crimson band pinned to her upper arm. She had earned that armband, too, so Hayato felt more pleased than irritated to see it, despite his distaste for the person that had worn it before her.
Lin-Mei's smile faded a little as she cocked her head to one side. "Hayato?"
"Hey, jackass. She wants to know you're doing here. Besides trespassing, that is."
Much to his chagrin, Hayato started again. He hadn't bothered to pay attention to Lin-Mei's companion, a tall woman with bleached blonde hair and thin eyebrows that looked even older than he was. Probably he'd met this Disciplinary Committee member before; they were always trailing after their leader, after all. But he'd be damned if he went to the trouble of remembering her name now.
"If you don't have a good reason to be here, screw off," the woman went on.
"I—I have a good reason," Hayato managed to blurt out.
"Do you? Then why don't you cough it up?"
"Because it's none of your goddamn business!"
"Any business taking place on Namimori Middle School grounds is the business of the Disciplinary Committee."
"Arisa."
Lin-Mei didn't raise her voice. Hell, she didn't even change her tone. With a single word and a motion of her hand, she shut her second-in-command's mouth. Arisa sent Hayato a look of purest venom, but marched away in silence, He hoped she'd been sentenced to patrol one of the less pleasant corners of the schoolyard—perhaps Ryohei's old haunt. Chances were slim they'd gotten all the sweat stink out of there yet.
"Hayato."
This time, Lin-Mei grasped his wrist as she spoke. This time, he didn't jump. He just looked into her deep brown eyes—and felt vaguely, again, like he was going to throw up in some unimaginably satisfying way.
"What's the matter?" she asked as she released him. "Do you have a message for me from the Tenth?"
"Well —"
"You know we'll do whatever he needs, me and the girls."
"Right. But —"
"I don't have to tell them who the order comes from if that's what you're worried about. I'll be discrete."
"I didn't come on behalf of the Tenth!"
Why the hell did that take so much effort to spit out? Hayato wasn't a coward, and Lin-Mei absolutely was not his sister or anything like her. He ought to have been able to come in, say what he had to say, and move on. If Yamamoto asked him how things went later—and he certainly would just to spite Hayato—Hayato was not going to tell the Baseball Idiot that he'd chickened out.
"Okay," Lin-Mei said slowly. When he didn't launch at once into an explanation of why he'd come, then, she went on, "Then what gives? I will have to punish you for trespassing if you don't really have a good reason for being here."
Hibari would be pleased. Hayato knew she meant it when she said it, too. Before he could make an even bigger fool of himself then he already had, he screwed up his eyes and said:
"It's March 14th."
Of the whole host of reactions he had expected to result from this proclamation, last on the last was a blink and a curious, "What?"
"It's March 14th," he said again through gritted teeth. "Valentine’s Day was a month ago."
"And?"
The most infuriating thing about this conversation was that Lin-Mei wasn't attempting to raise his blood pressure. She obviously did not understand what Hayato was trying to say. And since he'd come this far, he didn't want to walk away now.
"And I came by...to bring you...some chocolates."
With this last ludicrous confession out of the way, he produced the box he'd been carrying around in his school bag. Lin-Mei's eyes went wide. She gazed at Hayato with open astonishment.
"But Hayato, I didn't give you any chocolates for Valentine's Day."
"I know!" He shoved some hair from his face, hardly noticing when Lin-Mei lifted the box lid to examine the chocolates inside. "I just walked in on the Tenth making some for Kyoko last night, and Reborn was there, and he kept going on and on about the importance of White Day, and how Hibari would understand it, and if the whole chocolate-giving thing worked for the Tenth, it would definitely work for Hibari, and...and...I don't know! I just panicked!"
Lin-Mei swallowed a mouthful of chocolate before stating, "Hibari hasn't given me any White Day chocolate."
"He-he hasn't?"
"No." She pulled the box from his grip and took a bite of another piece of chocolate. "But did you really think a package of store-bought candy would have put you over the top if he had?"
"As though I could cook anything without Bianchi getting into it when she found out who I was making it for," Hayato muttered. Lin-Mei stare made him squirm. How could she just stand there mowing through the chocolates without saying anything? Before she could polish the whole damn thing off and be on her way, he took a deep breath and barreled forward: "That's why there's a part two."
"Part two?"
"Ye-Yeah. I also wanted to know if you'd...if you'd come to dinner with me tonight."
Lin-Mei said nothing. He fixed his eyes on his shoes and did not look up. The minutes crawled passed with nothing to break them up except for her continued chewing. At last, he could take it no longer. He risked glancing upward to see her reaction. Was she gawking at him, shocked that someone like Hayato would do something like ask her out? Was she bright red with embarrassment because he'd confused her signals? No. She really was just steadily eating her way through the box, though she paused long enough to ask:
"Can we talk about the latest post on Mysterious Universe over dinner?"
He could hardly believe his luck, or the fact that her question made him grin fit to put Yamamoto's usual expression to shame. "Of course!"
"It's a date!" Lin-Mei shoved the remains of her gift back into his hands. "But we'll have to go later. I already promised Arisa that we'd go over some budgetary concerns after patrol this afternoon."
Well, that sucked some of the buoyancy out of his grin. But he didn't dare try to talk her out of her Disciplinary Committee duties. He knew from experience that would only end badly for him. "Am I allowed to wait here?" he asked. Facing Yamamoto or the Tenth after this would be a nightmare. Better to put that off as long as possible.
Maybe she understood that, because Lin-Mei appeared to consider his request for a moment. Then she said, "Only if you promise not to smoke on school grounds."
It was the same tone she'd used on Arisa earlier. And just as Arisa knew better than to argue, so did he. "Fine."
Her final smile caused the butterflies from earlier to surge back into his stomach. Hayato thought the sensation couldn't get worse until she leaned forward and kissed him on the cheek. Before he could recover—hell, before he could even string two coherent thoughts together—Lin-Mei turned on her heel, looked at him over her shoulder, and fluttered her fingers in his direction.
"See you later, Hayato. Happy White Day!"
She was gone in a flash, leaving Hayato standing at the school gate and holding a half-empty box of chocolates, probably looking like the biggest moron in the world (and given his competition solely in the Vongola Family, that was saying something). A few straggling students leaving their approved after-school clubs laughed as they walked by him. He found he didn't care. As he settled against a wall to wait for Lin-Mei to return, he thought to himself that he would endure every agony of walking to Namimori every day, giggling girls and all, if it meant getting to see her smile...and to pull the rug out from underneath Hibari's feet.

@not-bcring moved for the new editor uwu (X)
What the two of them had, it was nothing like Nicky thought his life would turn out to be. A relationship wasn't even close to being on his radar, the young goalie so often told that such a thing would only get in the way of greatness by his parents, as if they hadn't gotten together and had him towards the peak of their careers. They meant well, the words not being said in an unsupportive way, but one that was meant to encourage the fact that Nicky just plain didn't seem interested in being with anyone. Having a partner hadn't even crossed his mind until Kichiro, and even then it took his teammates making comments about them in the locker room after practices where they would watch to really bring to light that what he was feeling...wasn't just the desire to protect a friend. The thought of any of them with Kichiro, it made him...well, it made him feel an emotion he couldn't seem to place. It wasn't that most of them weren't good guys, it was just...
The thought of someone else holding Kichiro's hand, calling them sweet little names, holding them close, kissing them, it made him almost angry to imagine, a feeling he wasn't very fond of having.
Later on he would learn the name for such an emotion thanks to Pavel: jealousy. Nicky wanted to be the one to call the smaller man his, and that was why the idea of anyone else with them made him upset. That being said, had Kichiro not felt the same way, Nicky would have understood. As much as they wanted to be with Kichiro, their happiness was held above all else. If all they would ever get was a meaningful friendship while they went on to date someone else? It would have been enough.
Luckily, fate had been kind to them for once, and now here Nicky was, several months past his first anxiety ridden day at Hope's Peak where he had first bumped into Kichi literally, it a terrifying meeting that somehow ended up with them getting together. He had never been happier than he was with Kichiro, every kiss and touch and honeyed word making the moose of a man feel soft in ways he never could even imagine before meeting them. Though as time went on, there were other feelings to be had as well, something that once again Pavel had to shed light upon for the...socially troubled goalie.
Nicky wanted more than just fleeting touches and lingering kisses shared between them, he just didn't know how to get it.
Well...when in doubt, ask, right? Maybe this would help clear his head for the game later, the thoughts of more having been near nonstop for quite some time now. Or end in horrible rejection, his anxious mind so helpfully tried to add, something that he tried to ignore, the soft, genuine words from his partner helping with that more than he could say.
Nick hadn't realized he had been spacing out until Kichiro had called out that little pet name he so loved, the goalie too caught up in the pure happiness on the face of his smaller partner. "Yeah...yeah it is...real nice..." Though genuine, it was clear Nicky was a bit distracted, a furrow pulling at his brow as his hockey gear was set to the side. "Hey, uh...c-can you come here for a sec, bun? There's um...there's something I've been meaning t' ask you..." He wouldn't continue until Kichiro moved closer, the smaller man being pulled into Nicky's lap with the usual ease, a common occurrence when he was feeling anxious and needed a little support.
"We...we've been datin' a while now, a-and I...I wanted to- If you're interested, that is- I-I never...I've never wanted to in the first place, but-" Based on the current rate of conversation and the blush that had taken over the entirety of his face? This wasn't going to get very far without help...

Day Two 5/14
Journal Entry: *Noodles hand writing is immaculate. Near calligraphy.*
Today, sucked. Not only was I moody, and achy, and sick, and likely out too much, but I...well no that was all basically it. I felt like shit and everything seemed to be going to shit. A general negative mind space that wasn't corrected by going out and doing anything. Or being around people, even people I love. I got moody and honestly kind of mean with Jasper. I snapped at some fellow who I don't really know all that well because he was annoying me. Told him to shut the fuck up and that I didn't like him, right to his face! Today feels like a day that I would have drank if I was drinking to lighten the feeling of all these emotions. Mostly the bad ones that are making me feel heavy, more achy, slow...Like rocks are tied to my wrists and they're pulling my entire soul down towards the floor.
I didn't, though. Drink. Likely because I didn't allow myself to be alone. Even if my company was kind of shit and I mostly just fretted about upsetting Red, my friends put up with me. Olive really came in clutch about the entire thing. She was the one who picked out and paid for Jaspers flowers that he seemed to like quite a bit. Then she tried to encourage me on how to talk to him about all of this. Though none of them really have stable...Relationships. Or relationships to begin with.
After all the friend hanging out, and flower getting, and gift talking about? Jasper finally pulled up from the thinking or working he was doing at the time. Which is where things got worse before they got better. When we went inside we were both really mopey. Likely because we've both been rather sick and drained. He's just carrying it all better than I am. Or hiding his symptoms from me so I won't worry.
When we got in the house I kind of got overly frustrated, cried and raised my voice, paced. I could tell it was bothering him that he didn't know a solution to my problems. Nor that he knew how to help me right then. But, it wasn't his fault. All the stuff I had been bottling up for the last few days kind of exploded without an alcohol buffer there. We talked, finally, about all how I had been feeling. About how I missed him, how all my emotions were so intense, how I didn't know what to do. I didn't speak about sober doubts that I can recall now.
All that matters is that after I got it all out? I really did feel better. So much better, in fact, we chatted afterwards. About a few random bips and bobs, before I asked him if he'd teach me how to crochet!
And, damn. That mans amazing. How he's able to take just yarn and weave it into shapes. Or things! With nothing more than his fingers and a little hook is...is...a magic in of itself. I told him to his face and I'm writing it here that I'm rather certain he's a witch of sorts! I don't know how long I had been actually practicing myself before we got distracted, but he made it all look so easy! Maybe one day I'll pick it up again and see if I can't, oh, I don't know...make an actual square or something! Like he did! Granted he whipped one out in like a minute, maybe. But he has been doing this quite a bit longer than I have.
Then the funniest thing happened. We started kissing, as adults do, along with almost another...progression in our consenting adult intimacy. When MORRIGAN woke up! We don't think she saw anything or even registered what was going on, but. You should have seen the look on HIS FACE. The sudden terrified awkwardness that flourished over his features. By the Light I was absolutely positive I'd cease through laughter right then and there.
The poor thing had a stomach ache, but. It was an oddly...Funny and wholesome way to end the evening. Even if she had seen the two of us kissing, along with Jaspers hand...somewhere. I wouldn't change the interaction or the ending to tonight for the world.
At least through all the chaos happening, I didn't even register it was mothers day. Blessings come in painful packages sometimes, I guess.

That cheating thing really opened the whole truth, kinda, like I don't think we really knew him as much (even after the flashbacks cause the cheating part changed the whole thing)?// this is a really good point buy may i add that i don't know if this is matt all along (like, we truly didn't know much about him) or it was an inconsistency coming from the writers because matt from s1 to the matt in s2 was like a stranger. I understand in s1 we saw him mostly through leigh's eyes... and she loved him and wanted him to get better and in s2 you get to see more of his past, his depression, his trauma and you see him through danny's eyes and he doesn't idolize matt as much... but the nina thing... i don't know. It felt really weird because nothing indicated that matt could be with someone else. I get that's the point and it shows that cheating is something that you don't know until it's in front of your eyes but it was so random?.
And the danny point.. i had my issues with danny as well (like every other character) but i appreciate how he was open at times with leigh, even when she wanted to close her eyes. I think their dynamic felt a little bit more genuine bc danny was brutally honest and deep down i think leigh appreciated that... i still didn't ship them or think they would be a good match but in a way danny+leigh made a little bit more sense than matt and her? idk if i explained myself properly and i apologize for the long rant here
Okay, you're right on that! It was kinda like out of nowhere??
I'm guessing that we've meant to think we know and understand him in S1/how Leigh kinda idolised her husband and loved him to the point, life is nothing to her without him. But S2 kinda showed how we really don't know anyone, we can only have an idea of someone and pieces of them carried by someone else.
Wasn't there some bits of their relationship having issues nearing the end? (I'm not sure I remember cause I haven't done my rewatch yet for this year). BUT WHAT IF, that wasn't the whole story? Perhaps, he haven't really did much but talk with Nina? S3 could had been the way they open the story up more, who knows.
You're on point with that about Danny. I think they're both kinda similar?? In the out going way? While Matt is so different from them both. Plus, Danny was truly falling for her. I kinda of prefer him more compared to Matt (but the whole punching in the wall stuff ahh sirrr). But Leigh was really using him so like my girl wtf.
AND I find it hard to know what's truly TRUE compared to what they're saying sometimes. Example, the episode of Amy where the story she told them were so different from what actually happened??
This is making me think so much, I am questioning what I've actually watched. I love that.

Hello! I saw that your request is open for Tony Stark. Do you think you could write Tony x reader wherein they're married and got into their first fight as married couple?
Emotional Fight
"Anthony Stark what the hell we're you thinking!" I shout through his lab seeing him removing a banged up iron man suit glancing over his shoulder at me. He sits down on a rolling chair seeing anger written on my face. "Look I'm sorry I didn't tell you about the attack on New York. I just-" I cut him crossing my arms over my chest angrily. "You promised no lies." He bends his head down running his hands through his hair, his wedding band reflected under the bright lights. We've been married for a couple years now and have never had one single fight throughout our whole relationship...until today that is at least.
He leans his back against the messy work table of his still not saying anything. "You just gonna sit there like a bump on a log or are you gonna give me a dang explanation Stark!" I raise my voice stomping up closer to him. When we first started dating he promised to tell me everything. He immediately told me he was Iron Man and gave me time to pack up and leave him. If I felt in danger or his crazy schedule became too much for me. A small town girl from the countryside who loves to sketch things in her notebook. By some crazy metrical we ended up meeting in a coffee shop near Stark tower. But broke his promise to me and I had to find out from his assistant Pepper who he called on the private jet because he was crunched for time.
"You're right I should've called you during the battle of New York. I just thought - I didn't think I could hear you sobbing through the phone when I flew into a space portal..." He sighs heavily finally looking me in the eyes. Baring my teeth I glared down at my wedding ring that he had gotten from my grandmother knowing I was really close with her before she passed away. "And in that genius head of yours you somehow thought not letting me talk to you one last time. In case you died wasn't the right thing to do!" Tony slowly gets up trying to walk to me but I hold my hands backing out of his lab, tears falling from my face. "I can't stay with someone who lies to me...goodbye Tony."
Tony grips his hair in frustration feeling tears slip from his eyes seeing you walk away. He knew he needed to fix this. He also knew he shouldn't have lied and said he tried to call you but you didn't answer. Instead the truth was he called Pepper because he was horrified he'd never see, hear or get to kiss you again. So he just didn't call you because of the horrible thought. Lightly sobbing I headed for the only place I knew I'd feel safe even before I met the love of my life. Plopping down on one of the coffee shop chairs I ordered a big hot chocolate not wanting to drown my emotions with alcohol. Opening my schetchpad I see hearts with our intials written down. Grabbing a pencil I aggressively mark them out releasing more tears at the same time until the shops little bell rings.
"Escuse me, could I please have a moment alone with her?' My husband asked the waitress coming to check on me. He sits in the chair across from me, hands intertwined together on the table. "You shouldn't have followed me Stark. There's nothing you can say-" He cuts me off snatching my pencil as I nearly stabbed a drawing of him in my book. "Y/n lisen to me please..." Glaring at him I bawl my hands into fists. "Look I know I screwed up and all. But I love you. I always will and-" I cut him off flipping my hair from my eyes with a sarcastic tone, sniffling from still slightly crying. "You'll never give up will you!" He shakes his head resting his freehand to my cheek, staring deeply into my eyes. Forget it, I'm done. "Not when it comes to you...so what do you say honey, do you forgive me?"
Comments really appreciated 😊

To choose a lover
requested here
characters: ran haitani + rindou haitani
genre: fluff
warnings: none
Giggles and whispering comments were passed around, giddiness present in the voices that spoke out just a few metres away from you.
As much as you tried to focus on the tiresome work that was splayed out on the piece of paper before you, it was completely futile to drown the girls out.
It didn't take a genius to know what they were talking about. The school you were all under had the privilege - if one could even consider it as such - to hold two infamous students.
The Haitani brothers.
Whilst the eldest was in his final year, the younger still had another year under this roof until he followed in his brother's footsteps.
But there was really nothing to dislike about going to class when one had a literal fan group who's main topic was always them.
There were girls who preferred Ran, with his signature braids that they always wished they could undo for him; and others that would always fawn over Rindou's cocky ways and stubbornness, trying to catch his attention wherever he went.
The current conversation, however, wasn't just fixed on talking about their aspects.
Far from it. Sending each other questionable looks and making fun of those on the other side of the opinion, they were discussing who, out of the two brothers, was better.
Those on Ran's side had the advantage of saying that he was older, therefore more responsible and willing to take care of anyone.
Sure.
He would make the perfect husband, some were proclaiming. But...the youngest would always want to show that he is the strongest, the more dependable one, as a result of the inferiority that had always hung with him since they were young.
It wasn't that he was, he just hadn't pushed himself to be known as much as his brother had done all those years back.
Needless to say, it was an argument that would never see an end. At least not until the two left the school behind and continued up to wherever the future would take them.
It was amusing, from your point of view, to hear all of these discussions. For years now you had known the two, as close friends who had grown up on the same street, so you knew everything that there was to them, right down to what they actually did when they said they were studying.
Definitely something that the girls would be pushed back by if they ever found out.
But, if it really came down to it, you probably wouldn't be able to pick one out of the pack that they came in, either.
They both had their merits and faults, and, truth be told, neither of the two were that much of a pleasure to be around with, as much as their fans would beg to differ.
One thing was for sure, though. It had come into the light when the three of you had been hanging out one afternoon, without much else to do.
You had asked the youngest about what he thought about his notorious lower level when it came to comparing him with his brother.
It had simply been a spur of the moment, and you hadn't expected him to actually give a sorrowful response.
He was well aware that he was viewed as the weaker brother of the two, and as much as he'd try to prove otherwise, it had always been something that would eat away at him.
Naturally, both you and Ran had jumped to convince him that he was far from a weak person.
The fact that he was viewed as such meant nothing at all when it came down to the reality of what he was, and that there was no point in even listening to those ignorant - and frankly, irrelevant - opinions about himself.
At the end of the day, although you would never openly admit it near the oblivious fangirls, you held a considerable amount of affection towards the two of them.
Of course, they had their odd moments in which you only wished to hit them around the head with Ran's metal bar; but, all in all, they would always be your childhood friends.
So choosing between them was simply out of the question.
Both of them held an equal importance to you, so when a peculiar feeling started growing for one of them, you quickly averted it so it would be felt for the two, whatever it were to be.
They were two peas in a pod, and you weren't about to change this because of a measly crush.
However, the thought would only bug you more whenever you were all together. Such as the current situation, sat right between the two of them on the comfort of their couch.
Before even coming over, you had mentally ordered yourself to disregard the ridiculous thoughts that had flooded your mind.
The girls back at school hadn't help with the problem one bit, if anything they worsened the conflictive feelings; and now you were to spend the afternoon with the two.
One could only think that all odds were against them in such situations.
Head resting on Ran's shoulder, legs atop Rindou's, your eyes were fixed onto the screen before you. The reasoning behind spending the afternoon together was the airing of your favourite show.
However, you were now racking your brains over what you were supposed to do after the series ended. Watching a movie was the prime option, but you figured they would want to move from the couch and do something else.
And the two were very talkative, so you would have to, inevitably, push everything in your mind aside to prevent from even giving the smallest hint surrounding your thoughts.
Your stiffness didn't go unnoticed, and, soon enough, you felt a hand on your leg, startling you in an instant.
"What the hell is up with you today, Y/N?"
Rindou had lost all attention for what was playing on the screen, and it looked to be as though he had for a bit now. This meant he had felt your change of attitude well before he had actually asked about it.
"What? No, nothing...why?"
Knitting his eyebrows together, the blond looked over at you with a disbelieving stare. By now, you were sure Ran had shifted his interest towards the two of you.
"You've been all skittish since you got here. You got something important on your mind or what?"
Geez.
"No...I've just been thinking about something stupid, that's all. Don't worry about it, now let me watch th-"
"That being?"
Now you were cornered. From behind you, having turned to look at Rindou, a voice spoke out the question. In slight panic, you managed to come up with another way around it.
"Well...that, let's say, if I had to choose one out of the two of you, I wouldn't know who I'd pick. It's a silly question one of my friends asked today, that's all"
God bless the fan girls. You were sure to never judge them internally again, because they might have just saved your skin in the nick of time.
Your nerves calmed down as you heard Rindou chuckle at the concern, and you figured he'd just brush it off as another one of your peculiar inquiries.
However, as he fully turned towards you, it was clear that he wasn't about to let this go unfazed.
"Well, you can't just leave us like that without an answer. Go on then, if it was a life or death situation, who would it be?"
"Rindou...you know I'd get rid of both of you if I could"
You all laughed at your words, stirring the conversation into an area that you were certain you could get a hold of.
Each one of you was just as ridiculous as the next one, so it wasn't hard to divert difficult topics.
If only the youngest wasn't so damn pushy.
"On a real note, there's gotta be one of us that you like just a little more, Y/N"
Upon knowing that perhaps you had driven yourself into a dead end, you started to fumble with your fingers.
What the hell were you supposed to say? If you picked one, the other was surely to get the wrong idea.
"Um..."
A slight shift behind you made you turn your head, catching Ran just a little too close for comfort to your face. Great, just what you needed.
After a few, nerve racking, seconds in silence, it was the eldest of the two that decided to break the ice. You were all just wasting time there, after all.
"Listen...since my brother seems incapable of forming a decent sentence, what we've been trying to get at is which one you'd choose, because we've both liked you for some time now and we kinda need to know who you'd go out with"
Well.
Certainly an unexpected turn to your seemingly uneventful afternoon. It appeared that you weren't the only one struggling with the damned feeling that was a crush, but you hadn't gambled that it would be both of them...and for the same person.
You couldn't choose.
In the same way that you had to waver the feeling of more than just friendship between the two of them, there was no way you could pick one now.
It would be unfair for the other, especially since you would only be lying to yourself for saying that you felt nothing for the half that was left aside.
There was only one way out of this, unless you wanted to shatter the relationship you had built between them for the past years.
"I...both of you. I can't leave one of you out when I, well, like both of you"
A huge weight was lifted from your body the moment the brothers exchanged a look, followed by an agreeing nod. Far from the catastrophe you had gambled with, that much was sure.
As Ran leaned his head on your shoulder, Rindou gave you a bright smile, one that not everyone had the chance to say that they've seen.
"Wasn't so hard to say, now was it?"
No. What was going to be hard was having not one Haitani by your side, but two, as a partner. Sure enough, you were really going to know what their poor mother had to put up with now.

⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼
"I dare you to pretend like you're dating Jungwon for a whole week."
You looked at your best friend with wide eyes, a similar expression of surprise on his face. There was no way you were going to do that. It would be way too awkward.
"Come on y/n. Don't be a party pooper. It's not like you guys are going to fall in love."
Of course things wouldn't turn out that way. No matter what, nothing would change the way you saw Jungwon. He would always remain your best friend and nothing more.
Jungwon looked too embarrassed to say anything. Both of you knew it was just a dare. What was the worst that could happen?
"Fine. Starting tomorrow Jungwon's my unofficial-official boyfriend," you announced, linking your arm with his. Jungwon hid his face in his hands as everyone around you screamed and cheered. This was going to be one interesting week.
~
☀︎ DAY 1 ☀︎
Since you only had to put on a show in front of your friends, you figured the best thing to do would be to hang out with Jungwon in solitude. He didn't have a problem with your plan. You both had been having playdates together ever since you were three. He was comfortable being alone with you.
Both of you met at your secret spot. A small grove behind the schoolyard. It was a place the two of you had found while skipping classes one day. Ever since then, this was where you spent time together whenever you needed some peace and quiet.
"I can't believe you actually agreed to this," Jungwon said, mindlessly plucking the grass he laid on. You sighed, staring at the row of trees beyond. "A dare's a dare. Besides, we have nothing to worry about because we don't have feelings for each other."
Jungwon sat up. "You know that we can't avoid all of them for the entire week right? They're literally planning to hang out at the cafe just so they can see us in the act." He sounded worried. There was no need to be.
"Of course I know that. So what? We'll let them see what they want to. It's not like they're going to make us kiss or something. The most we'll do is feed each other and hold hands."
Unlike Jungwon, you had already thought everything out. You knew how far to go while respecting the boundaries of your friendship. All Jungwon had to do was trust you.
He cringed in disgust at your words. "You're going to pay for landing me in this mess. We've barely even started and I already feel so miserable."
You patted his shoulder, flashing him an assuring smile. "You're not alone in your miser mister. After this is over, I'll do all your homework for you."
Jungwon laughed. "Learn how to do your own first. Then you can come and ruin mine."
~
☀︎ DAY 2 ☀︎
As Jungwon had predicted, your friends called you out to the cafe. Both of you were supposed to show up together. Jungwon met you a block away from the cafe, looking incredibly reluctant. "Are you sure you want to do this," he asked, just about ready to turn back around.
There was a determined look in your eyes. "Remember when he had to play Hansel and Gretel's parents for that play we did in preschool?" Jungwon nodded. He could never forget that day. "If we managed to get through that, we can get through this without a problem."
That made sense. Appreciative of your pep talk, Jungwon took your hand and whisked you away to the cafe.
By the time you reached your destination, both your hands were sweaty. Jungwon was just as nervous as you were. Not only because you had to pretend like you were dating, but also because your friends weren't going to miss the opportunity to tease you.
Seeing you two enter hand in hand, everyone began hooting and cheering. Jungwon's cheeks flushed almost immediately. You had to drag him towards the table you were supposed to sit at. "It's nice to see you two arriving together," one of your friends said, making space for you.
Taking a seat, you watched in horror as they placed a glass of juice with two straws in front of you both. No one had to explain what its purpose was. You glanced at Jungwon whose eyes were fixated on the glass hesitantly.
"If we get this over with now we'll be at peace," you whispered, leaning forward to place one of the straws between your lips. You looked away when Jungwon did the same, feeling the heat in his face on your cheek. You were certain you had never downed a drink so fast in your life. It didn't take long for you to finish the contents of the glass, quickly sitting back up to catch your breath. Your friends couldn't seem to get enough of the event, laughing and clapping avidly.
"You guys are so cute," some said. "Both of you would make such a nice couple in reality," said others.
Sitting there amongst your terribly evil friends, you wondered how you were going to get through the next five days with Jungwon.
~
☀︎ DAY 3 ☀︎
Your friends had invited you to another escapade at the park. You couldn't tell what they had in plan this time but you were sure it wasn't going to be enjoyable. At least this time, you and Jungwon didn't have to show up hand in hand.
When you reached the park, Jungwon was already there. Your friends beckoned you over, making you stand next to him.
"Now that our subjects have arrived, here's your to-do list. First, remain holding hands the entire time we are here. Second, Jungwon, give y/n your jacket if she starts feeling cold. Third, walk her back home and make sure you give her a nice, sweet little kiss before she goes inside."
Jungwon let out a noise of surprise. He wanted to run as far as he could and never come back. Holding your hand was fine. He had gotten used to it because of the previous day. He didn't mind giving you his jacket, but you were already wearing one so he didn't see why he would find the need to. Jungwon could do many things. But kissing you was not one of them. It didn't matter if it was on your cheek, your forehead, or the back of your hand, because there was no way on earth that he would bring his lips anywhere near yours.
What neither of you realized was that your friends were willing to go to the farthest lengths to make sure you went through with their tasks. They made you two walk in front of them so that they could see your hands intertwined. When the sun went down and the air started getting colder, they made you take your jacket off so that Jungwon would be left with no choice but to give you his. Just when it seemed like your night of torture would come to an end, they even made you share a single cone of ice cream. When it was finally time to go home, two of your friends followed behind you to make sure that Jungwon did his bidding. It was awkward enough walking through your neighborhood hand in hand. Those who knew you cast looks of confusion and surprise upon you two. Eventually, you reached your doorstep. Jungwon let go of your hand, standing in front of you. He looked everywhere but at you, avoiding your gaze. You glanced behind your shoulder, rolling your eyes when you saw your two friends filming you from behind your neighbor's car. They weren't even attempting to be discrete.
"Hurry up and kiss me already. This is too embarrassing," you urged, slapping Jungwon's arm. He sucked in a breath, pressing his lips in a thin line. "Do you think it's not for me? I mean, I'm the one who has to kiss you for heaven's sake."
"Stop pitying yourself and just get on with it. The longer we stand here the more reason they'll have to punish us tomorrow."
Jungwon stared at you long and hard. He squeezed his eyes shut and leaned forward, pressing his lips onto yours without a second thought. You froze, eyes going so wide they might have popped out of your head. Even though it was probably only for two seconds, it felt like an eternity. Time froze as you stood in the foreign feeling of his lips on yours. He pulled away almost immediately, skipping down your driveway as fast as he could with a short wave and 'good night'. Still stunned, you entered your home, breaking into a smile when you closed the door.
~
☀︎ DAY 4 ☀︎
The next day, Jungwon asked you to meet him at your secret spot. So far, your friends hadn't made any plans to get you together. You saw Jungwon sitting in the middle of the grove, laying down on the damp grass as he usually did. Walking over, you sat down beside him, flicking his forehead so that he would open his eyes.
He grinned on seeing you, sitting up with a soft groan. "So, how was your night?"
You furrowed your brows at the question. It wasn't like him to ask you things like that. But you decided to overlook it. Maybe he was still feeling a bit awkward after the kiss you both hard shared the previous night.
You shrugged. "It was fine. How was yours?"
"I couldn't sleep," he revealed. It sounded like he'd been dying to tell you. "Why's that," you asked, believing that you had an idea of the reason.
"Last night scarred me," Jungwon shared, pretending to gag. You didn't know why, but hearing him say that made your heart sink. Suddenly, you felt horrible. "Was it really that bad," you asked, genuinely curious to know what he thought of it. Jungwon nodded, making you feel even worse. "It was worse than I thought it would be," he added. Your eyes started stinging. A lump formed in your throat and the longer you held it back, the more it hurt. You knew you hadn't been eager to kiss him, but you would argue about how 'bad' it was. But bringing that up right now would just be stupid. Jungwon would misunderstand where you were coming for and that would just lead to another disaster entirely. You had told yourself that you weren't going to let this dare get to you, but four days in you were already slipping. The longer you sat there, listening to Jungwon whine and complain about everything he'd had to do with you so far, the harder it became to control your emotion. Not able to take it anymore, you got up abruptly and ran away, leaving Jungwon sitting there extremely puzzled.
~
☀︎ DAY 5 ☀︎
You didn't respond to any of Jungwon's calls or texts. You didn't have it in you to face him. He would be disappointed if he found out the real reason behind your sappy mood. So you were gonna wait till you got over it before facing him.
You still couldn't believe that you had been so affected by Jungwon saying that he hated the kiss. Despite telling yourself that you disliked it too, you couldn't help but think otherwise. There was something so magical about it. You had never felt that way because of a kiss before. Whenever you thought back to it, an exciting warmth rippled through your mind. Your heart danced in glee and a wide smile formed on your lips.
But you weren't supposed to feel that way. Jungwon was your best friend. Besides, he hadn't kissed you willingly. You didn't understand why it felt so special to you when it clearly meant nothing to him. You knew you couldn't blame him for that. His mind was wired to see you as nothing more than a friend. You found it hilarious. Here you were, realizing that you probably liked your best friend after having continuously assured yourself and him that something like that would never happen. The sad part was that Jungwon would never reciprocate your feelings. You were all alone in this.
A knock sounded at your window, startling you. Slipping out of your reverie, you glanced towards it, eyes widening in surprise when you saw Jungwon crouched before it. You didn't think twice before letting him in. He entered your room and stood in front of you, crossing his arms over his chest. "You wanna explain what happened yesterday?"
You frowned and turned away shoulders slouching disinterestedly. "Is that what you came here for," you asked, regretting letting him in?
"Well did I have a choice? You've been blatantly ignoring me while all I've been trying to do is make sure you're alright," he said, stepping closer to you.
"I'm fine. If that's all you needed to hear, you can leave now," you replied. You didn't need him prying and prodding at you right now.
Jungwon stood his ground, clearly not satisfied with your answer. "No, you're not y/n. You aren't fine. Tell me what's bothering you."
You sighed and faced him. "Trust me, you wouldn't want to know."
Jungwon furrowed his brows. He didn't know what that meant. "I think I'll be the judge of that."
"It's you. You're bothering me," you spoke, narrowing your eyes at him. Jungwon hadn't been expecting that. But he didn't let the surprise show on his face. "What did I do?"
"You made me feel so worthless and undesirable. But that's not your fault. I can't blame you because you're right to think that way about me. I'm just pitying myself here and there's nothing you can do about it so please, just leave me alone." The tears were coming back again. You didn't want to break down in front of Jungwon. His face fell. He didn't know what to say to that. He thought you knew he was just being overdramatic. He seriously hadn't meant to hurt you. Before he could apologize, you turned to him. "I don't think I'll be good at keeping this a secret, so let me just tell you that I'm starting to catch feelings for you. If that makes you uncomfortable then you can leave. If you have something to say, just say it and go. But don't ask me why I feel the way I do because that's something I'm yet to figure out."
Jungwon was at a loss for words. He stood there, gaping at you like an open-mouthed fish before turning on his heel and exiting through your bedroom door. You heard your mother yelp on seeing him, probably wondering where he had shown up from. A part of you wished that he hadn't left, but the other was glad that he was gone. You felt like a fool for letting all of this happen. You should have never agreed to this dare. Who would have thought it would lead to something like this? There was nothing you could do now. There was no way you could change the way you felt. Because at the end of the day, it was as clear as ever, that you were undeniably in love with your best friend Yang Jungwon.
~
☀︎ DAY 6 ☀︎
Jungwon couldn't stop thinking about everything you had told him yesterday. He would never have imagined that you would catch feelings, especially through such a childish dare. Your friends had called you out to the park again today, but Jungwon wasn't going to go. He knew you wouldn't be there so there was no point. He wished he could tell you that he hadn't meant half the things he'd said about the kiss at the grove that day. He was just trying to show you that the kiss hadn't made him feel some type of way. Not just that, but he was also attempting to persuade himself that he indeed had loathed it. Maybe he should have been truthful instead of lying about it.
This was exactly what he'd been afraid of. Jungwon was always fond of you. He cared for you and he wouldn't lie when he said that he loved you. But the more he thought about it, the more he realized that maybe he felt that way because he thought of you as more than a friend. Jungwon didn't want to convince himself that he liked you just because you had confessed to him. He wanted to understand the way he truly felt about you.
He knew every little thing about you. No one knew you as well as he did. Jungwon cherished your friendship and the time he spent with you. Whenever anything bugged him, he always came to you, knowing that you were the only person who could make things better. He relied on you more than anyone else. He couldn't go a day without speaking to you. After yesterday, he realized how important you were to him. The fear of losing you ate at him the longer he stayed away from you.
Jungwon hated knowing that you were sad. It hurt more to know that he was the reason behind it. He wanted nothing more than to hug you and apologize for making you feel bad. He felt guilty for everything he had done. It had only been a couple hours since he had last spoken to you, but it felt longer. He missed you so much.
So he left you a text, asking you to meet him at your secret spot. He kept his phone close, waiting till you replied. But you didn't. You probably wanted nothing to do with him. Nonetheless, he still hoped and prayed that you would give him one last chance to make things right again. He couldn't afford to lose someone as special as you. There was nothing for him if he didn't have you.
~
☀︎ DAY 7 ☀︎
Jungwon laid in the grass, staring at the dull sky above. It was filled with clouds, hiding the sun. The grove felt so big and endless when he was alone. When he was with you, it was much more cozy and bright, even if the atmosphere was gloomy.
He had been waiting for you for quite a long time now. You hadn't replied to his message last night, but he knew you had seen it. Just before he was about to lose hope, he heard the grass crunch a few feet away from him. Jungwon didn't have to look to know it was you. No one else knew the path to get here.
"What do you want," you asked, voice small but laced with malice. You were cross with him. Jungwon wished to change that today. He patted the space next to him. "Let's not pretend like we hate each other. You could do the worst thing to me but I'd still admire you."
You didn't argue and sat down beside him. Other than the tension in the air, everything felt normal. There was a scowl on your face. It must have taken a lot of convincing for you to come here. Jungwon needed to get to the point.
"I'm sorry about everything I said. I didn't even mean half of those things."
You scoffed. "Oh really? They sounded pretty heartfelt to me."
Jungwon sat up. "I was just trying to enforce the idea that I wasn't into you, on myself," he revealed, hoping that you would forgive him. "And being a dick was the only way you could do that? Jungwon, you weren't the only one who was attempting to suppress their feelings," you refuted.
"I know y/n. And it's my fault for not realizing sooner," he admitted, hanging his head. You sighed and shook your head. "This is so immature. I can't believe we're letting a stupid dare get in the middle of our friendship."
Jungwon chuckled darkly. "Maybe it's a sign that our friendship has run its course."
You turned to him. "What is that supposed to mean?"
Jungwon smiled. "I gave it some thought yesterday. We're both attempting to be in denial of our feelings. Obviously, that isn't working out. If it wasn't for this dare, they would've remained buried deep down somewhere. But I guess you could say everything happens for a reason." He took your hand in his, intertwining your fingers. "I never realized how much I loved this feeling until I had to go a whole two days without it."
You couldn't even hide your smile. "Where is this going Jungwon?"
"Maybe we should give this a chance. Give us a chance. Who knows? It could turn out the be the best thing that's ever happened to us," he said, meeting your eyes.
"And what if it doesn't? We would be throwing so many years of friendship away."
Jungwon shook his head. "How long are we supposed to contradict how we truly feel about each other? That would take a heavier toll on us."
You laughed, squeezing his hand. "It doesn't hurt to try I guess."
Jungwon beamed. "That's the spirit!" It felt nice to see you smiling at him again. He was grateful for that. It was funny how a large part of his mood depended on you. If you were happy, he was happy. If you were sad, he was sad. His entire world revolved around you, and Jungwon knew the best thing to do was strengthen that bond.
"So, will you be my girlfriend," he asked, smiling cheekily. You bit your lip, looking at him through your lashes. "Of course I will."

Evan Peters One Shot
Oh! I just had an idea for Evan Peters! maybe a little angsty not to bad but something about his new gf like reader is his best friend but his gf is bullying her you can choose the ending
It has been weeks and weeks since you had seen your best friend Evan and you missed him like crazy.
You and Evan had been best friends and pretty much inseparable since you were children and even though you had made a pact to never let anything come between you, something finally had.
His new girlfriend.
You had always been extremely supportive when it came to Evan's relationships, only ever wanting him to be happy and even becoming friends with most of his now ex's.
There was never any issue concerning your friendship with him either. Each one of them was completely comfortable with how close the two of you were.
Until now.
"You need to stay the hell away from him or I will ruin your whole life. You are nothing to him anymore. Do you understand me?"
She had said one day when you were all hanging out.
Evan had left the room for a few minutes, leaving the two of you alone.
"What? What do you mean? Is Evan mad at me or something? Did he ask you to talk to me?"
You ask her, trying to understand what could have happened.
"MY boyfriend doesn't know we are having this little conversation and you are going to keep it that way. I don't want you anywhere near him and I will get what I want because honestly, you are nothing."
The pure venom in her voice brought tears to your eyes.
"Oh get over yourself. He won't even miss you after like a day. Now find a reason to leave and don't ever come back."
You contemplated what to do. Evan seemed happy with this girl and after everything he deserved to be happy but would he really choose her over you if he knew what she had just said to you?
You wanted to say you knew the answer was no but you weren't sure what kind of hold she had on him.
"Hey, where are you going?"
Evan walks back into the room just as you are grabbing your stuff to leave.
"I um have to go. Work stuff."
You quickly lie, doing your best to keep from looking at him.
"Oh alright. Well I'll see you later tho right?"
He asks and you look over at her.
"I'm not sure. Things are pretty crazy lately. Maybe."
You say before walking out the door, making it to your care just in time for the tears to flow freely.
As the weeks passed, you dodged calls and texts from Evan every day.
'Y/N, what's going on? Are you alright? Did I do something? Call me please. I miss you.'
You sigh as you toss your phone into the passenger seat after reading the latest text.
You wanted to tell him what was going on, to explain why you had just disappeared but the threats of his girlfriend were still playing loudly in your head and honestly, you weren't sure if he would even believe you anyways.
As you pull up to your house, you see Evan standing out front, waiting for you.
"What are you doing here?"
You ask him, resisting the unbelievable urge to hug him.
"You wouldn't answer my calls or texts. I wanted to make sure you were alright."
He says with a shrug.
"Y/N, talk to me. What the hell is going on?"
"Yes, Y/N, we've been sooo worried. What's going on?"
You turn to see Evan's girlfriend walk up from the sidewalk to join you and Evan on your front porch.
"I told you, I'm busy."
You say, doing your best to ignore the stare down you are getting from the girl who hates you.
"Bullshit. What's really going on?"
Evan knows you too well and can immediately tell you are lying.
"Evan, leave it alone alright?"
You sigh, knowing he would never or could never do that.
"No. Tell me what's going on. You were fine a few weeks ago when you were at my house and then you left so fast and now you're ignoring me. Please, tell me why."
You close your eyes as he takes your hands in his.
"Because of her! That day I was at your house, she told me if I didn't stay away from you, she would ruin my life. She told me I was nothing to you anymore and she would make sure of it."
Evan stands in silence, taking in all of the information before turning to his girlfriend.
"Why would you do that? Y/N is my best friend, nothing will ever change that. How dare you say any of that to her!"
Anger raged through him as he spoke.
"You bitch!"
She says, making her way towards you.
"I warned you and now you are going to pay!"
She slaps you across the face before Evan steps in between the two of you.
"You need to leave! Now! Or I will call the cops!"
He says to her, his tone even scaring you a bit.
"This isn't over bitch. You will pay for this."
She warns again before leave.
"Y/N, Y/N, hey, shh it's alright. She's gone."
Evan says, turning back to you, seeing the big red mark on your face and tears running down your cheeks.
He pulls you into his arms, hugging you tightly.
"Why didn't you tell me what she had said?"
He asks, rubbing your back.
"I wasn't sure if you would believe me or if you would even care. I saw the two of you together. You were happy and I didn't want to ruin that."
You sniffle.
"Of course I would have believed you and of course I care. Y/N, you are my best friend. I love you. It doesn't matter how happy I am, if who I'm dating can't respect you or our friendship, I shouldn't be dating that person. You are one of the most important people in my life and anyone I'm with needs to understand and accept that."
You give a small smile as he pulls away from you, lifting your chin so you will look at him.
"Now, we have a few weeks to catch up on. How about dinner and a movie? My treat?"
He asks and you nod, so happy to finally have your best friend back in your life.

Stole My heart (Owen Patrick Joyner x Reader)
A/n: Hey guys so there’s this imagine let me know if I should make a part 2? Possibly a smut? I don’t know let me know! Also let me know if I should post these on wattpad too!!!
Warnings: None
————
"Owen seriously if someone catches us I'm gonna kill you"
"No ones gonna catch us. They're filming a scene" He mumbled leaving a trail of kisses down my neck.
"That's what you said last time"
"They didn't catch us" He said pushing my shirt down my shoulder.
"Yeah but they almost did- wait. Are you? Owen" I scolded pushing him away.
"What?" He asked innocently.
"What do you mean what? The makeup department will literally kill me if I show up with another hickey. Then their gonna interrogate me like they did last time since there are limited people I see daily" I groaned.
"They're not gonna kill you y/n. Relax"
"I can't relax. Now that we landed a season 2 the chances of us getting caught are much higher now. Plus my character has such a bigger part now" I spoke pacing back and forth in the dimly lit room. Julie's room set to be exact.
"I know. But you can't let that get to you now. You did amazing the first season and your gonna kill it this season. And if we get caught then oh well"
"Oh well? Oh well. Owen I already told you I don't want anyone to know about us until-"
"Until we're sure it's not gonna effect our worth ethic. I know" He muttered sitting down on the bed. I sighed realizing he was upset. It was never my intention to date my co-star. Let alone fall in love with him. But after spending countless of hours on set and off set with him there was no denying the chemistry. And what to everyone seemed like an amazing friendship was actually something more.
"Hey, I'm sorry. I wish things could be different but-"
"But this is your first big part. I get it" he said moving to sit me on his lap.
"I'll back off. We'll just have to keep sneaking around"
"Owen-"
"No harm. No foul. If this is what I have to do to be with you I'll do it" He said kissing the spot he had previously been sucking on.
"And I'd do it again" He whispered kissing my skin once more.
"And again" Another kiss.
"And again" He spoke finally meeting my lips. The kiss last longer than the ones shared previously. It was much more passionate on both ends. The risk of getting caught high.
"Owen" I giggled as he flipped us over on the bed.
"Yes?" He questioned as his fingers made their way up my shirt.
"Baby" I moaned as his hands cupped my left boob.
"Mmm" He muttered against my lips.
"We've got to get back on set soon. I have a scene with Jer" I panted pulling away.
"Don't do it"
"Owen" I warned.
"Fine" He groaned getting off me.
"But for the record if they did know we were dating I would not give my approval for the stupid kissing scene" He said kicking the ground like a little kid. Referring to the fact that my character became Reggies love interest this season.
"Be careful there babe the jealousy is peeking through. Just be lucky he's married and they cut it down from a whole make out scene" I teased checking myself in the full length mirror.
"Yeah yeah. God the unholy things I would've done to you in that bed" He whispered in my ear as his hands explored my body.
"Don't temp me Joyner" I said a smirk making it's way onto his face.
"I'm here!" I called running onto set.
"Finally! Where were you?" Charlie asked exasperatedly standing beside Kenny who was looking at script at hand.
"We don't have time to interrogate her Charlie we've got to get this scene filmed if we wanna stick to schedule. Y/n next time be on set 5 minutes before"
"Yes Kenny. Sorry I was um was distracted. Lost track of time" I said noticing Owen had walking onto set casually going to talk to Mads and Savannah.
"Okay so this scene your gonna walk in on cue to your mark. Find Luke sitting on the couch playing his guitar. Sentimental talk. Confess your undying love for Reggie. Then Jers gonna come in tell y/c/n he loves her too. But he can't be with her because he had this girlfriend back in 95 who he never officially broke up with. Then he says screw it. You kiss. End scene"
"Oh the kiss. That's this scene?" I asked finding Owen who was deeply in conversation.
"Yeah. Is there a problem?"
"No, no I'm ready" I said not expecting to have to do this in front of my secret boyfriend right now.
I sighed going to stand on my beginning mark. I watched as Charlie did the same.
The lights dimming in the studio to replicate nightfall.
"And action!" Kenny yelled.
I opened the barn like doors walking in slowly.
"Oh Luke. I didn't know you were here sorry I'll go-"
"No. No it's okay. I was just messing around. What's up?"
"I was looking for Reggie"
"Looking for Reggie? Oh he's with Alex and Willie. He should be back soon"
"Then I'll just go. Thanks I guess"
"Wait. Can I play you something?" Charlie questioned taking a hold of my wrist.
"Um sure. Why not?" I asked sitting down next to him. I listened as he began strumming his guitar to a familiar tune. A small smile forming on my lips.
"That was great Luke. Did you write that? Maybe about someone whose name rhymes with Judy" I spoke in a teasing matter.
"No. Actually Reggie wrote it. About someone who name rhymes with yours" He said a blush forming on my face.
"Okay. I get what your saying" I said playfully rolling my eyes.
"Good. I thought I'd have to follow up with home is where my horse is" He said making me giggle.
"How could I possibly tell a ghost who died 25 years ago that I'm completely head over heels for him?"
"Maybe the same way your telling a ghost who died 25 years ago right now" Charlie said jokingly bumping my shoulder.
"Right... I just- I don't want to get rejected by a ghost. It's one thing when they're alive but if the dead doesn't want me I think that's saying something"
"Y/n, Reggies in love with you. He'd be thrilled if you showed any romantic interest in him. At least more than you already do" He teased me once again.
"Thanks Luke. I just hope he doesn't freak out on me like last time"
"Last time?"
"Yeah last time I brought up relationships in a topic he got all weird and left. So I just never did it again"
"Oh. Look y/c/n back in 95 we had a decent following and a ton of girls following after us" A strange look forming on Charlie's face.
"Okayyy" I stretched out the word.
"And Reggie. You know him he uh well he's a fl-" Charlie words were cut off.
On cue Jeremy strolled into the studio set as Charlie and I sat facing each other stiffly.
I stifled a giggle knowing this would later be edited so it'd look like Jer flashed in out of nowhere.
"Y/c/n? Luke?"
"Oh Reggie. Hi" I stood up continuing the scene.
"Hey. What are you doing here? I thought you'd be home"
"I was. Julie invited me over for a bit and I thought I'd say hi before I uh left. I though maybe we could talk for a bit"
"Oh. Okay yeah" He slightly smiled before turning to the brunette beside me.
"And what are you still doing here?" Jeremy asked looking at Charlie.
"Hey, I was just leaving man. She's all yours" Charlie smirked at us before walking off set.
Jer and I paused until his footsteps could no longer be heard before continuing.
"So um what did you want to talk about?"
"Just um stuff" I said standing still in my spot.
"What stuff?" He asked coming to stand in front of me.
"Luke. He played me your song" I said picking up the piece of paper with chicken scratch from the coffe table.
"Lifer Girl?" I finally read the title before looking up into his brown eyes.
"Uh yeah. I'm still working on the name. Did you like it?"
"I loved it. This lifer girl. She's one lucky girl. Do I know her?"
"Of course you do. Your practically the same person" he said a piece of my hair falling to the front of my face. I nervously played with my fingers as he pushed the strand behind my ears.
"Oh. Can you tell me about her?"
"Well she's funny and makes me feel happy when I'm around her. She's really smart and her grades skyrocket compared to what mine use to be. And she's beautiful, drop dead gorgeous" He whispered tilting my head up with his fingers.
For a moment I looked up into his brown eyes wishing. Longing for them to be someone else's. I felt his finger leave my chin before he turned away dramatically.
"I shouldn't"
"Shouldn't?" I asked curiously.
"I can't"
"Can't? Why not?" I questioned once more.
"Y/c/n there's something I need to tell you"
"What is it Reg?"
"Back in 1995 you know before we died. I uh-"
"You what?" I asked urging him to continue.
"I had a girlfriend and well then we died. So we never officially broke up" Jer said.
"Oh" I mumbled backing away from him.
"I get it"
"No wait y/c/-"
"No Reggie it's okay. Your still in love with her. Of course you are. God how could I be so stupid to think that you'd actually love me. Let alone like m-" My eyes widened as I felt him crash his lips into mine completely going off script. Which wasn't uncommon. But it was supposed to be a short kiss. There were lines that were missing.
Slowly I pretended to sink into the kiss. Pulling away after a couple of seconds amongst hearing the word.
"Cut!" Kenny yelled Jeremy finally letting me go.
"That was amazing! Spectacular! Great improve Jer! We're done with this scene!" He called out to us. But all I could focus on was the look plastered on Owens face. He was hurt. But not because of the kiss. But because of the fact that he couldn't do that. Not out in public anyways.
"Yeah great going Jer" I commented to the boy in front of me.
"Thanks y/n. You did great too" He said getting near me.
"But if I were you I'd go talk to your boyfriend before he bursts" He whispered in my ear leaving me wide eyed.
"H-how'd you?"
"Know? Please everyone knows. I mean you guys aren't great at hiding things. There's actually a poll between Kenny and Charlie. Whichever one of you slips up firsts. My bets on Owen" He chuckled.
"Seriously?" I asked.
"Seriously"
“Who was the first one to know"
"Sonya in makeup. The first hickey you showed up with only matched with the timeframe that you and Owen had been together. Clearly not getting lunch like you had said you were"
"That long?" I asked.
"Yup" He spoke popping his p.
"Just don't tell anyone I told you. Carolynn insisted I put you out of your misery"
"Thanks. I think" He smiled at me before walking away.
A grin began to form on my face as I made my way toward the blonde who was leaning against a wall twirling one of his drumsticks in his left hand.
"Hey. Great scene back there" He commented as I now stood in front of him.
"Thanks. You know Jers a good kisser and all but I think your better" I spoke aloud noticing Savannah's and Madison's head whipping towards us.
"What?" He asked making sure he heard right.
"You heard me Joyner" I spoke giggling at his shocked reaction.
"Now shut up and kiss me would you?" He tilted his head to be extra sure. Something I adored about him.
He always wanted to make sure I was certain about these things. I simply nodded feeling his arms wrap around me bringing his lips to meet mine.
I smiled into the kiss as he turned us around pushing me up against the wall. I giggled upon hearing clapping around us from the cast and crew.
"Finally!" I heard Savannah shout.
"Keep it PG kids!" Kenny shouted laughter following.
"You owe me 20 Gillespie!" He yelled again followed by a groan by presumably Charlie. I finally pulled away first leaving Owen in shock.
"I'm gonna need you to come back to reality lover boy" I said rubbing my thumb against his cheek.
"What made you change your mind?" He asked keeping a tight hold on my waist.
"Let's just say you have Carolynn to thank for that. Apparently everyone knew"
"What? How?"
"I guess we weren't as good at keeping a secret as we thought"
"How long?"
"First hickey"
“That long?"
"That's what I said" I laughed as he pressed a kiss to my forehead.
"You two are so cute"
"Thanks Mads" I smiled at the girl.
Finally able to wrap my arms around the boy who had stolen my heart without any warning.

Just A Game: Gonna' Ask Her
Anime: My Hero Academia (SMAU)
LEVEL DOWN | MENU | LEVEL UP
Y/N took her car and drove down to Shinso's house. She had texted her roommates that she'd be out for the day, and when Bakugou asked why, she informed them. Both of them were extremely wary about the situation. Kirishima offered to come along.
By now, they'd been filled with worries, prompting Bakugou to call her.
"You're making a really dumb decision." Bakugou states, his voice booming around the car.
Y/N frowned a little as she stopped at a red light. "I know, Katsuki." She sighed out, running her hands down the steering wheel, "But I'm sure that if I don't do this, it'll haunt me the rest of my life."
Bakugou goes quiet.
Y/N knows her best friend. Bakugou's gone into his bedroom, which was further down the hall than Kirishima and Y/N'd. Bakugou is most likely leaning against the wall of his walk-in closet, door closed so that Kirishima couldn't hear his conversation.
Y/N also knew her other best friend. Kirishima is probably eating Bakugou's stress cooking (gydon most likely) as he watches work out videos and random short clips to get his mind off of everything. He's trying not to check his phone, because he's expecting a text from Y/N.
But they know her just as well. They know Y/N is tapping her fingers against the steering wheel because she's as nervous as she was on her first day of high school. Y/N probably has a cup of milktea in her cup holder, half empty within the first 15 minutes of buying it because she stress drinks like how Bakugou stress cooks.
"You know that you don't need him." Bakugou says, shuffling around the coats in his wardrobe, "I don't understand why you're so eager to mend things with that fucker. He messed up. You shouldn't forgive me, just because he suddenly wants to actually be honest with you."
Y/N turned the corner, sipping from her straw in the milktea. "You know I value your opinion because most of the time, you're right." She huffed, putting her drink back, "But... I don't know, maybe after hearing him out, I can finally get over all of this."
Bakugou stiffened, leaning against the door. He crossed his arms over his chest. After a moment, he says, "He doesn't deserve you, Y/N."
Her lips have parted by now and she's staring harder at the road. "Nobody deserves anybody." She replies to her friend, "People aren't entitled to 'win' anyone over. They just need to want them enough to persue them."
Bakugou shakes his head and leans it against the door. Of course she'd say that. As he closed his eyes, he spoke into the phone, "Let me rephrase that then, idiot." He opened his eyes, staring at the ceiling. "You deserve better."
Y/N chuckled after a second, shaking her head slowly, "You're only saying that because you miss the relationship I was in from high school."
"That was a Hell of a lot better than this shit." Bakugou stated.
"I'll fix this shit, Katsuki." Y/N spoke, looking determined, "Trust me."
So, Bakugou did. He hung up after telling her that he was making takoyaki for when she came home. He left Y/N with hope and her own thoughts.
She thought that Shinso and herself would be alone. But then, when she drove into Shinso's driveway, she recognised the two cars parked there. One was Shinso's stick-shift, the black car he used when they went around. The other was most definitely Midoriya's, a dark green Mazda Sedan.
Y/N knocked on the door, being met with Uraraka. "Oh... I'm—I'm sorry, I thought that Shinso would be here—" She began, feeling her cheeks warm up with embarrassment. But Uraraka waved her hands.
"Wait!" She said, stopping Y/N from walking away, "Shinso's here, he is! He's just, um... talking to Midoriya and Iida. He'll be finished in a bit."
Y/N only nodded her head. She sighed as Uraraka let her inside and told her that she could sit on the stool. Y/N took out her phone while Uraraka went into the room with all the yelling. It sounded like Shinso didn't invite them over. She could hear Midoriya try to stop him from shouting and Iida telling him to calm down. Uraraka quickly closed the door behind her, passing Todoroki while he walked out.
"Oh, hi Y/N." Todoroki spoke, sipping from his cup. He walked towards her spot. "How're you? It's been a while since we've seen each other last."
Y/N chuckled, scratching the back of her neck sheepishly, "Yeah, it has been. Pretty sure the last time I actually spoke to you was at laser tag."
"We should all go again." Todoroki said.
Y/N hummed, drawing circles on the marble counter, "Hmm. Maybe."
"Would you like something to drink?" Todoroki asked, already guiding her around the kitchen counter. He took out cans and mugs for the both of them. "I have some tea that Shinso mentioned you liked."
Y/N blinked at the thought. She then nodded her head, Todoroki asking her to fill and start the kettle as he put the tea bags in.
The door swung open to reveal a very flustered and messy Shinso. He hair was sticking up in weird places and he was breathing heavily. He looked like he was having a mid-life crisis. Y/N raised a brow at him.
"Y/N, I didn't think you'd come so early." Shinso said, fixing his shirt since he seemed a bit dishevelled. He cleared his throat and stood in front of her. "Um... Do you want to talk outside?"
"I'm fine with talking here, Shinso."
Her words were soft but icy. As if passive aggressive. Shinso had chills up his spine from how she spoke to him. Y/N sat up properly on the stool as Shinso shifted in his spot. She sipped from her cup.
Uraraka, Iida, Midoriya and Todoroki all stared at them. The girl then mumbled, pushing the boys ups the stairs, "We'll leave you two alone."
"Will he be alright by himself?" Todoroki asked quietly to them, making Midoriya and Iida nod their head profusely.
It was silent after they all went upstairs, probably not that far to hear what they were saying. But Shinso started it off.
"I'm really sorry for lying to you about that night."
After that, he said nothing. Or rather, he stopped speaking. Y/N only stared at him, brushing her hand against her neck. She waited for him to go on, to apologise further for the way he acted. But he was silent.
"I'm over that." She retorts, crossing her arms over her chest after drinking from her cup, "You apologised for that the last time I saw you."
"I—I know." Shinso replies, shifting in his spot near her. He avoided her gaze once again. "I just thought... you might want to hear it again. Is all."
Y/N sighed, standing up from her spot and brushing out the creases in her shirt, "Well, of that's all, then I'll be going. Is there anything else?"
Shinso held his breath. "N—... No." He replied, immediately regretting it as she nodded her head.
Shinso blinked as she went to the door after finishing her tea. She put her bag on and placed her hand on the doorknob. "Thank Todoroki for me, for the tea." She said, glancing over her shoulder to him.
Shinso stood in his spot, staring at her with wide eyes. She's just... leaving.
It's when the door shut behind her that he snapped out of his trance.
Bounding down the stairs was Uraraka and Midoriya.
"What are you doing?" Uraraka shouted, pointing at Shinso with a surprised look, "Go after her!"
Shinso looked back at the two, Iida and Todoroki poking theirs heads out from the top of the stairs. Midoriya puffed out his cheeks and spoke, "This is your one chance to make up for things! Go, Shinso, go!"
He stiffened up before waving his hands at them defensively, already walking towards the door.
Y/N was in her car, backing out of the driveway as she looks over her shoulder to the road. Shinso gulped, lifting his shoulder and running out towards the street. Y/N looks back to her front, pressing on the gas pedal.
But stops when Shinso stands in front of her car with his arms spread out wide.
Y/N harshly stomped on the brakes, feeling her body jolt forward before landing back on her chair.
She blinked, seeing him pant harshly.
"Shinso!" She shouted loudly, getting out of the car and standing up straight. She glared at him with bewildered eyes. "What is wrong with you? I could've run you over, you idiot!"
Shinso let out a sigh, walking over to her.
Y/N ran her fingers up her neck, her mind going wild. "You're so—so confusing! You just said that you had nothing left to talk to me about, and I drove all the way here just to hear you say 'I'm sorry'? Are you freaking kidding me?" She shouted at him, "Fuck, maybe Katsuki was right, I shouldn't have come here! We're never gonna' sort this shit out because you don't know how to just tell me the tru—"
Arms wrapped around her shoulders and pulled her into his chest, his head digging into the top of her shoulder.
Y/N stopped, stepping back to support herself as Shinso dove all his weight into her. "Shinso—"
"Can we take a drive?"
Y/N sighed, snaking her arms around his waist and holding onto him loosely, "Fine. Get in, we're going to go get food."
Shinso nodded his head. He let go of her after a few seconds, rounding the car to get into the passenger's seat. Y/N shut the door behind her, starting the car again and driving down the road.
"Do you think it's gonna' be okay?" Midoriya questioned, watching the car drive off from the opened door that Shinso forgot to close.
"He'll make it right." Iida said, fixing his classes as he walked back to the kitchen, "He has to."
"Shinso said he's gonna' ask her about her ex."
Everyone turned to Todoroki, sheer fear in their eyes as he read off what he got texted.

reader and Finn have been broken up for almost a year. they haven't seen or spoken to each other since Finn ended the relationship. it's now Christmastime, and they come face-to-face at the NXT Christmas party for the first time since the breakup ... "i loved you. i loved you so much that it hurt me"
word count: 2.5k+
warnings: angsty, mentions & actions involving cheating, drinking, implied sex, kinda nsfw
— day 7 out of 25. let’s gooo —
masterlist || request an imagine here
part 2
~ some 18+ content below - read at your own risk ~
You stand outside of BelaRosa Banquet Hall and stare up at the building. You know what's waiting for you inside.
While you've managed to avoid him at Full Sail, it won't be as easy to avoid him here. At least at Full Sail, you can hide in your dressing room. At BelaRosa Banquet Hall, there's nowhere to hide. Except maybe the bathroom. He's too much of a gentleman to walk into a women's restroom.
"Hey, girlie," you hear Candice LeRae say behind you. You glance back to see her walking up to the door with Johnny Gargano by her side. "Why are you still out here? You should be inside."
You say, "I'm trying to talk myself into going in. It's taking me longer than I thought."
Candice hooks her arm with yours and she says, "You know he doesn't like coming to these events. He probably won't even be here."
Anxiety hits you like a train as you say, "He's NXT Champion, Candice. There's no way that he's not here."
"That's a good point," she says. "I used to wrestle men so I won't be afraid to hit him or hurricanrana him so please come inside and sit with me and Johnny."
That gets a light laugh out of you. You give in and say, "Fine. You better hold your promise to hurrincanrana him if he comes near me."
Candice laughs and the three of you walk inside. "I promise," she says.
The banquet hall is huge and already full of NXT wrestlers and staff members. William Regal is even here. So is Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and Shawn Michaels. If they're here then he definitely is.
You join Candice at a table with Tegan Nox, Dakota Kai, Raquel Gonzalez, Tommaso Ciampa, Tyler Breeze, and Fandango.
"Hey, Y/N!" Tegan says, patting the seat beside her. "Sit here. I didn't think we'd be seeing you."
Laughing, you say, "I decided to show up and not let a breakup dictate my life anymore."
Candice says, "She was standing outside the building for who knows how long when I showed up. Who knows if she would have walked in if it wasn't for me."
Everyone at the table kind of laughs.
The banquet hall is full of Christmas and holiday themed decorations. Garland hands all over the place with a large Christmas tree in one of the corners of the room. Wreaths are scattered throughout the room. The tables all have little Santa or snowman figurines as decoration.
"I love that dress, Y/N," Dakota compliments. "Very pretty."
The decision to come to this party was so last minute that you had to grab a dress from your closet instead of buying something new like most people did. The dress you're wearing is a short satin silver dress with spaghetti straps that crisscross each other on your back. The neck dips a little low, revealing a small amount of cleavage. You wear matching silver heels. Your Y/H/C colored hair is up in a messy bun on top of your head.
"Thank you, Kota," you say, smiling kindly at her.
The party goes well until dinner is served in buffet form. You're making your way down the line when someone says, "It's nice to see ya, Y/N. It's been a while."
You'd know that accent anywhere. That Irish accent that made you weak in the knees every time you heard it. Your suspicions are confirmed when you look to your left to see Finn Balor grabbing some mashed potatoes.
"Wish I could say the same," is all you say before grabbing a roll and some butter before walking off.
You sigh as you sit down, angry and frustrated that he even had the nerve to come up to you and say that it's nice to see you. You eat angrily.
Candice notices you and asks, "What's going on? You seem angry."
"I'm not," you snap. "Angry. I'm not angry."
Johnny chimes in and says, "Your vegetables say differently. Did he say something to you? I saw him standing next to you."
You look up at Johnny and say, "He said it was nice to see me, as if he didn't cheat on me several times then play victim every time I would find out."
Candice looks at you, upset that he even talked to you.
Tegan gives you a hug and says, "We won't let him talk to you again, Y/N. That was the first and last time he will talk to you tonight."
Dinner and dessert go by pretty much quickly and easily. Finn doesn't approach you while you eat.
After dinner and dessert, Candice and Johnny go off to dance. Raquel and Dakota go talk to Io Shirai and Rhea Ripley. Tyler and Dango go talk to Adam Cole and the Undisputed Era. Tommaso goes and mingles. That leaves you and Tegan at the table.
Tegan is in the middle of telling you a story about her dog as the two of you sip off your alcoholic drink when Finn approaches you again.
"I'd really like to talk with ya for a second, Y/N," he says. "Please."
You sigh and ask, "What part of 'I never want to talk to you again' didn't you understand?"
Tegan jumps in and says, "Take a hint, Finn. She doesn't want to talk."
Finn looks at you and says, "Just for a few minutes. Then ya can go back to hating my guts."
You turn and look up at Finn, meeting his eyes. "When I said to never talk to me again, I meant it, Finn," you say, growing more and more frustrated.
"It's just a two-minute long conversation, Y/N," he says. "Come on."
Tegan looks at you and you look at her. She says, "Get it out of the way that way you can enjoy the rest of your night."
Sighing, you look back up at Finn and say, "Fine. You have only two minutes."
He looks at Tegan before saying, "Alone. I want to talk to ya alone."
Rolling your eyes, you get out of your seat. Finn walks off to a more private and quieter part of the banquet hall.
"What do you want, Finn?" you ask. "Here to tell me how much you want me back and wish you never cheated?"
He says, "I'm getting married." You're surprised by these three words. "I wanted to make peace with the people I've hurt the most before I got married. Starting with ya."
You look up at Finn and say, "I'm not forgiving you any time soon, Finn. You hurt me so many times."
Finn says, "I don't expect ya to forgive me, Y/N. I'm just trying to make peace with ya so ya stop being smart when I talk to ya at work. I understand that I hurt ya and are mad at me-"
You cut him off and say, "You don't understand. If you understood then you wouldn't have cheated on me multiple times. I'm not just mad, I'm furious. I feel like the past six years were a waste of my time because of you. I loved you. I loved you so much that it hurt me. I took you back when you begged and pleaded because I believed you when you told me you wouldn't cheat again. I gave you chance after chance to make it up to me and just when you did, I'd find out that you cheated again. So no, you don't understand, Finn."
He hangs his head in shame as you speak. He knows that what he did was wrong. Now he's trying to right this wrong.
Finn waits until you're done talking before he says, "I understand what I did was wrong. I've grown and reflected in the past year, Y/N. I've met someone I'm happy with. I've met someone who's kind and beautiful and hasn't judged me because of my past. I've met someone who is nothing compared to ya. I know ya won't forgive me but I want ya back in my life because this whole ignoring me then being smart when we've talked sucks."
You squint your eyes at Finn and say, "Then maybe you shouldn't have cheated."
"I wish I didn't, Y/N!" Finn says, raising his voice. "Believe it or not but I did regret it every time. I hid it because I didn't want us to be in this exact situation."
You raise your voice and say, "Then maybe you should have just told me if you regretted it instead of hiding it! Hiding it did nothing but fuel my anger and hatred toward you. For the past year I have hated you, I have been angry at you, but most of all, I have loved you every second. It's frustrating, Finn! It's frustrating loving you when all you did was hurt me. Last Christmas, when you told me you cheated again, it broke my heart breaking up with you and honestly, I waited to see if you would come back but you never did. Instead you went out and got engaged, and it's not to me."
You've started crying by this point as you let out everything you've been feeling toward Finn for the past year. Everything comes spilling out as you talk.
Meanwhile, Finn's quiet. He's listening and taking it every single word you're saying. He wants to understand.
After sighing and wiping the tears away, you say, "All I wanted was for you to grown and think about your actions. That's all I wanted. Maybe I would have taken you back or tried again at a relationship with you if you came to me and talked to me instead of getting engaged. Now you're getting married and all I can think about is how proud I am of you and happy I am for you while being upset and angry with you."
A wave of sadness comes over Finn after you're done speaking. He finally realizes how much he's hurt you. He realizes his choices haven't been the best over the past few years.
Hesitantly, he reaches out and wipes away your mascara stained tears. Subconsciously, you lean into his touch and close your eyes.
Finn says softly, "I wanted to go back to ya, Y/N. I truly did, but I thought that I'd hurt ya too much and that ya wouldn't even listen to what I had to say. I've loved ya from afar this past year. There's always been a spot for ya in my heart, Y/N."
You look up at Finn, meeting his eyes. You cry, "If I had seen that you had grown and reflected and thought about everything then I would have listened. I'm listening now and I can see how much you've changed, Finn. I can see how genuine and sincere you are."
He looks down at you with a sad expression on his face. He tucks a loose strand of hair behind your ear as he says, "I'm so sorry, Y/N. I truly am."
Eye contact remains as you say the words Finn's been wanting to hear for months. "I forgive you, Finn," is what you say.
He brings his forehead down to yours and he whispers, "I want one thing."
"What's that?" you ask, your voice quiet.
Finn says, "I want a last kiss. Just so we can both move on from this and grow as friends."
You stare up at Finn and say, "I can't do that. You have a fiancée, Finn. Don't do to her what you've done to me."
He nods and looks away, clearly upset.
You would do anything to kiss him again. His kisses always gave you butterflies, no matter where the kisses were on your body. His mustache would always tickle your lip when you kissed him.
You know what, you think to yourself. One last kiss won't be the end of the world.
"Finn," you say, getting his attention.
The Irishman looks at you. You wait a second before hesitantly kissing Finn softly. You squeeze your eyes so the last few years escape and roll down your cheeks as Finn kisses you back.
This is it. The official end of a six year relationship. You're both finally moving on. Finn's getting married and you finally have the closure you never thought you needed as your lips move more and more passionately against Finn's.
Both of you suddenly find yourselves not wanting to pull away from the kiss. Your hands slide up and rest on the back of Finn's neck as you continue kissing him. His hands rest on your waist.
Finn walks so he's pressing you against the wall in the hallway. His large frame pins you against the cream colored wall.
He leans down and picks you up by your thighs, pressing your back against the wall as you wrap your legs around his waist.
It's when his lips leave yours and attach to your neck that you say, "Finn. This isn't just a kiss anymore."
He looks at you and says, "I don't want it to be just a kiss."
"I don't want it either but it has to be," you say. "That's all it can be."
Finn kisses your lips again, this time more passionately and intensely than before. "Stay the night with me," he mumble against your lips. "Please."
In between kisses, you say, "You're getting married, Finn. I can't."
He says, "Ya can. Ya just don't want to."
You pull back and put your hands on Finn's face, holding him there. "Trust me, I want to," you say. "You have no idea how much I want to."
Finn pleads, "Then come home with me. I still live in that tiny apartment. My fiancée doesn't live with me. One last night together won't be the end of the world. If my fiancée finds out and leaves then we get what we both want in the end. Each other."
"That's a toxic way to think, Finn," you point out.
He says, "I know, but I love ya more than I'll ever love her. It's always been ya for me, Y/N."
Your mind begins to race. Do you go back to Finn's and get what you both want? Do you call it a night and maybe regret not going back to Finn's?
No matter what you choose, you'll probably regret in the future. Plus the hope of one day being with him again is the reason you say, "One last night. That's it. That's all you get from me."
Finn pecks your lips and smiles before putting you down and taking you back to his apartment.
As soon as you're back in his apartment, the clothes come off and they stay off until sunrise the next day. You spend all of Christmas Eve mending a broken relationship between you and Finn.
It's a terrible way to fix a broken relationship but you hope it works because you want Finn back in your life. No, you need Finn back in your life.
You just hope things don't get more complicated than they already are after the one last night with Finn.

Faking It- Tom Holland x Reader
"I don't know Z. I love him and all that, but I'm just not feeling it." You were sitting in your living room, talking on your phone with Zendaya.
You were complaining about somthing tha yiu shouldn't be, yet you couldn't keep it in yourself anymore, so you had to tell someone.
Fortunately Tom had gone for groceries, so that was the right moment to talk woth your dear friend. You knew that this wasn't right but you couldn't do otherwise.
The thing was that you didn't hear your boyfriend entering your house so you kept on talking.
"I mean, it's not just him, it's me too. I don't know what to do. I don't feel so great about faking my orgasms, and when I refer to them I mean every single one of them. I feel so bad Z." You sighed.
"Look Y/n, you have to talk with Tom you can't keep that away from him, he has the right to know. You can even work this out at last." She advised you.
On the other hand Tom heard you. He couldn't believe in his ears that after all this time you were lying to him. He felt betrayed, sad, angry and... embarrassed. He didn't know what to do about it. Or he did...
He left the groceries in the hallway and came to living room. Once you saw him, you froze.
"Umm... Z, I'll call you later, bye!" You said and before she could form a single word you hang uo the phone.
"Tom..." You said slowly not sure if he heard you talking.
"Don't worry you don't have to tell me anything, I heard you." He told you in a cold tone approaching you.
"I-I'm sor--"
"Cut the bullshit Y/n. We've been together for almost a year and I find out the you've been lying through our whole relationship." He cut you off, sitting down on the other end of the couch.
"I wasn't lying, I was just--"
"Faking it." He interrupted you once again.
"It's the same thing Y/n. You've been faking your orgasms for our entire relationship." He said angry.
"I'm so sorry Tom. It wasn't right from me to hide something like that to you and you have every right to snap at me, but what if it's not you. What if it's me? I mean, yo-you're amazing, what if there's something with my health. I mean, this is not normal." You tried to explain.
"Oh so there's something with your health. There's nothing with your health Y/n and I can prove you that." He said coming closer to you.
"Tom, we can go see a doctor, I can--"
"So now you don't even want me near you?" He exclaimed.
"I love you Tom. I really do, but I don't know why I cannot--"
"...Orgasm? Let me prove you that you can, darling." He said while he wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you towards him and started kissing your neck.
He began nibbling our sweet spot, that he of course immediately found, making you throw your head backwards.
"But I swear love, I'm be so damn harsh on you." He breathed out looking into your eyes. His eyes burning your, while they were darker than ever before.
In a matter of seconds he had took you in your bedroom and had threw you onto your bed. He wasted no time and got on top of you starting by kissing your lips and at the same time massaging your left breasts, while feeling your heart beat.
"Tom..." You whined.
"Shut up." He commanded you.
He took off your shirt revealing your lace bra.
"Good choice baby." He smirked kissing the top of your both breasts.
He guided his hands towards your shorts unzipping them and getting them off you. He came back up the kiss your lips with even more force and passion than the last time while his one hand went behind you to unclasp your bra, throwing it away. He continues woth kissing the valley of your breasts and then he nibbled one of your nipple, biting on it, while his right hand was pinching and massaging your other nipple.
"Mhhmm..." You cried out.
"Didn't I tell you to shut up darling?" He said, immediatelly stopping his actions.
"Y-yes..." You spoke again.
"But you're not listening though, are you?" He said in a serious manner while his hand spread your legs and grabbed your sensitive area.
You tried not to whine, while he was grabbing you very harshly.
"That's my girl." He smirked proudly.
He ripped your panties apart, fetting them off you, while he spread your legs even more and started rubbing your clit with force.
You didn't know what you were feeling. You for sure were feeling something, but you didn't think that it was an orgasm. Or was it?
Without warning he pushed two finger into you, with force, making you scream. He immediately covered your mouth with his other hand, not letting your react, while his own mouth started eating you out. He was forcing so badly his fingers into you, while he was playing with your sensitive bundle, biting it at the same time. You wanted to scream his name. You wanted to moan so bad.
That was for sure an orgasm approaching. You didn't know how to react. Should you tell him? Should you play it off? He was making a mess out of you. You finally started moving your hips, making him look up at you.
"You like it baby?" He said and you nodded, because he still had his hand over your mouth.
"Are you going to cum love?" He smirked, leaning down to lick your folds, without taking his eyes off yours.
You could feel it. After so long, you were about to cum. He would make you cum. But he couldn't let you.
"Nah uh, you're about to edge as many times as you faked babe." He grinned bringing his fingers out of you and started taking his clothes off.
You were trying to catch your breath as long as he was undressing himself. Once he was done, he was left with his boxers only. When you look up at him, he took your hand and got you off the bed, guiding you towards your huge mirror. He amde you stand in front of it, as he came from behind you, wrapping his arms around you, leaving sweet kisses on your shoulder.
"I love you Y/n." He told you looking in your eyes through the mirror.
"I don't want you to lie to me. You can talk to me about anything and I will be always here to listen. You are my everything Y/n and I don't want you to keep secrets from me. I want you to be happy. Always and forever. If you're not happy, I want you to tell me. We will always figure something out Y/n. I don't want to treat you like I did today, but once I heard you saying that thing, I felt betrayed Y/n. You must understand me. I want us to last forever. If you're not telling me the truth, it won't happen darling. So, from now on, will you be honest with me?" He tood you with a swet and calm voice.
"I'm so sorry Tom for lying to you. I was just not feeling good about it either. I thought that as the time goes by, I could get over it, but I didn't. I won't ever, ever again lie to you about amything Tom." You told him looking at him through the mirror, before turning around and cupping his cheeks in your hands.
"I love you Tommy." You said lovingly as you kissed him on his lips soflty.
"You'll be the death of me Y/n, do you know that?" He sighed smiling, while he placed his forehead on top of yours.
"And you will be the death of me Tom." You said, now wrapping your arms around his neck.
"So, how many times have you faked?" He asked you after a while pulling his forehead away from yours.
"Umm, all of them..." Yiu said in a questionable way.
"All of them?" He asked wide eyed and you nodded, biting your bottom lip.
"And how much is 'all of them'?" He smirked.
"Umm, I don't know around... umm... 100?" Yiu said feeling awkward.
"I'm glad that we have the whole week ahead of us baby." He said, not stopping smirking.
"What do you mean?" You asked confused.
"I told you that I'm gonna edge as many times as you faked, didn't I?" He chuckled.
"Toooomm, no pleaseee..." You cried out, begging him.
"Oh believe me love, you're about to beg me even more after tonight." He exclaimed.

masterlist
a/n : so here’s my jungkook as a lifeguard scenario. i hope you like it, your feedbacks are welcome. i really enjoyed writing this, tho i’m more of an angst type of girl so this was challenging for me. nevertheless i’m kinda happy with the outcome hope you are too ♥ also thank you for your feedbacks for the business trip
July is the month of water. The perfect time to go to the beach, take a vacation at some seaside city, or if you don't have a seashore near you, you can enjoy the swimming pools at the local thermal spa.
Since you were a child, you loved swimming. You were waiting all year round for summer so you can finally swim. So when you were nine years old, your parents signed you up for the local swim team, and in high school, you became part of the school's girl's swim club too. When your first working summer came, your choice was obvious. You applied to be a lifeguard, and ever since you were sixteen years old, you have come back every summer.
Your first two years went by uneventfully. The first year you got to know the other workers, so during the second year, you were already familiar with everyone. The third-year was a little bit interesting. Jeon Jungkook, the school's number one swimmer, captain of the boy's swim team, the boyfriend of the school's cheer captain joined your little lifeguard group. You two went to the same high school, enjoyed the same sport, but you’ve never really talked with each other. He was the top of the school's social ladder, and even though you were a swim captain too, you liked to be in the background. But that summer - which was already three years ago, oh God time flies by so fast - you two became friends. Best friends actually. You can imagine everyone's face when on the first day back in school he asked you to sit next to him and his friends at lunch.
Before Jungkook, you had a few friends, was in a good relationship with everyone, and didn't despise anyone. But as said, that was before Jungkook. The first person you lowkey hated was Jiha, his girlfriend. She was a bitch to Jungkook, and even though he knew how to handle her behavior, you still didn't like her. Thankfully they broke up. Jungkook dumped her before the winter formal and asked you to go with him - but strictly only as friends. Although life had another plan because by the time spring formal came, you were together.
Like it was said before, it's been three years since that. It's again a summer working as a lifeguard with your boyfriend, which is getting harder and harder every year. Have you seen his body? Besides having a masterpiece face, his body is just the cherry on the top, and sadly you're not the only one enjoying the view.
"You know, you're a lifeguard, right?"
A voice pulled you back into reality. You turned your head towards the source of the sound with a confused look on your face.
"Jungkook, we've been doing this for summers... I think pretty much the whole town knows that" you said matter-of-factly.
"But you can't save lives if you're daydreaming"
"I wasn't daydreaming" you defended yourself.
"Admit it, you were daydreaming about me"
"Keep on dreaming, pretty boy"
"You think I'm pretty?"
"Well, I'm not with you because of your brain" you smiled at him.
"Careful y/n or I might throw you into the water" You put your hands up in front of your chest, showing that you're stepping down from this fight.
"I'm gonna go check the kids' pool" He leaned towards you to give you a kiss.
"Bring me a bottle of water on your way back please"
As he was walking away you looked around. You saw a few ladies' heads following your boyfriend, but you can't really blame them. As long as they're only looking, you're kind of alright with that. As you were waiting for your partner to come back, two girls started jumping into the pool. You blew your whistle, which made everyone look at you. You signaled an X with your arms to the girls, who only rolled their eyes. You hate these I'm the center of the world type of girls. They think the rules aren't for them.
As Jungkook was walking back, he blew his whistle too. The girls were now giggling. He gave you the bottle of water and sat beside you.
"You know I was thinking" you hummed so he can continue. "I don't want us to come back next year" he shrugged.
"What? Why?" you looked at him with a surprised expression.
"Boys are looking at your tits, checking out your ass, and like yeah, I know they're good and everything but you're still my girl" he gestured around us as if you're not dealing with this same issue.
"Kook, those girls were just now giggling at your attention and are keep on jumping into the pool just so you can acknowledge them again" And because it was true, you blew the whistle. Again.
"And you're fine with it?" You shrugged.
"I'm not fine with their presence, but only because they're annoying. Those who only look at you are can't be blamed" you stood up and sat in his lap "You know, that's what you get for having this gorgeous badass lifeguard girl as your girlfriend" you kissed his cheek both side, then gave a little peck on his lips. "And that's" you pointed towards the jumping girls "what I get for having one of the towns most chased man as my boyfriend"
He gave you a kiss, and another one, and another one. "They're still jumping" you sighed at that.
"Come with me?" With him, you arrived next to the girls. "I kindly ask you to continue your jumping at the swimmer's pool, this pool isn't for hopping"
"Oh, really?" the two girls looked at each other, then the taller one with light brown hair and tanned skin took a step towards Jungkook. "Can you show me where is that? I think I don't know" Calm down y/n.
"It's two pools away" you answered.
She took another step and now started to play with her hair. "I still don't know"
Jungkook stepped aside, lifted his arm and pointed towards the swimmer's pool "Right there, in front of you" The girl seemed to understand he's not interested. You smiled at her, with a smile which said HA! Told you to go away!
The day went by after that calmly. A few kids crying, one person bumped into another underwater but nothing major happened. When your shift ended, you two went to take a shower - separately, of course, then Jungkook took you home to your parents' house. "You coming in?" you asked him.
"I promised my brother I will go with him looking for an engagement ring"
You squealed a little "Is he planning to propose Mayah?" He nodded.
You bid him goodbye with a kiss and went inside. You've been living together off-campus during school since starting college, but for the summers, you always go back home to your roots.
The next day you woke up a little later than you should've, which meant total chaos for the morning. On top of that, you didn't have time to eat, because when Jungkook pulled up in front of the house, you were still in your sleeping clothes.
"Your hair looks like you've been fucked through the whole night" greeted your dearest boyfriend. You rolled your eyes at that
"Yeah my other boyfriend visited" you said sarcastically. "Where are you signed today?"
After figuring out you weren't on the same pool duty, you didn't talk that much, not that you were in the car for a long time. "See you at clock-out" He gave you a kiss on your cheek and we said bye.
Today you'd been paired up with Josie, she was your partner for the first time when you started back in the days. "Are you ready for the old people?"
Her question made you snicker. "I would rather be at the kids' pool for a week"
You replied with a sigh, and Josie erupted in a laugh. It's true, little kids might be louder and more energetic, but old people are on a whole new level. They usually want to play matchmakers for their grandchildren.
"So how you and prince charming have been?" you laughed at the name Josie gave to Jungkook.
"I still don't get why you're calling him that, but we're good" you nod your head with a fond smile on your face "better than ever actually"
"That's good to hear"
Your stomach made some strange noise, signaling it's time for food. You told Josie you're gonna go grab something to eat from one of the food stalls. As you were waiting for your kung pao, you felt someone's presence very close to you. When you turned around, arms were caging you and the familiar smell hit your nose.
"Thanks for the baguette babe, but how can you not know I don't like pickles?" What? What baguette?
"Mmmm what are you talking about Kook?" you grabbed your meal before turning towards him and motioning towards the benches.
"Your memory is not that good anymore, you're getting old" He joked, and you kicked his leg under the table which made him chuckle with a boyish laugh.
"I slept through my alarm Jungkook, I didn't have the time to eat or buy a meal until now" you sighed, somebody must've been trying to get his attention with this. You have to say this is a new boldness, like this has never happened before.
"I have a secret admirer!" you clapped your hands yaaay because my mouth was full.
After finishing your breakfast slash lunch, you went back to Josie. You asked her about her new job and talked about college. She told you some funny stories which have happened to her there and you laughed a lot. From time to time some elders came up to you, showing pictures or pointing towards their grandsons. Sadly for them, both Josie and you are taken so you had to decline their propositions. You would be surprised how disappointed they can be once they find out they plan won't work out. OR how persistent they can be, they can't take no for an answer. That's the two end, no between. When that happens, you feel better with either Jungkook or one of the male colleagues. They're pretty much all Jungkook's friend, which means yours are too.
Clock-out quickly came, and you were cleaning the pools where you were assigned through the day for the other shift’s workers. To get to the locker rooms, you have to go beside the pool where you're boyfriend is on duty for the day. You thought you two will go to the changing rooms together, but as you get there you only see Taehyung cleaning.
"Did Jungkook leave you in the dirt alone?" You beamed at him. He turned his head towards you with a smile but quickly replaced it with a confused expression.
"Why aren't you at the bar?" he asked,
"Why would I be at the bar?" You asked back.
"You left a note to Jungkook to meet you at the bar at 3" You pointed at yourself asking him that you left a note.
"I didn't leave any note, is the note here though?" Taehyung pointed towards the trashcan.
Thank God it was at the top so you didn't have to rummage through it. Reading the note, you didn't know if you should feel offended because he didn't recognize your handwriting, or to be furious because someone actually dared to ask him on a date. You crumbled the note in your hand and made your way towards the bar.
Arriving at the bar you saw your boyfriend and the girl from yesterday. That made your blood boil so much more than before. Poor guy was looking around, searching for someone - you, while the girl was trying to make a good impression on him. You counted to twenty in your head, so you wouldn't jump at the girl first thing. Jungkook's face lighted up seeing you, although he realized something's not right.
"Excuse me" you tapped on the girl's shoulder "I would really appreciate it if you wouldn't try to shoot your shot with my boyfriend." You stepped beside Jungkook, who automatically back hugged you.
"He wasn't really rejecting me though" You’re gonna tear this bitch hair out
"Listen here you little - " a hand muffled your mouth.
"I didn't really give you the time of the day, I was just being nice and answered you" The girl's face turned red and stomped away from the bar.
"I should've known you wouldn't write me a letter" you hummed while turning towards him.
"Yeah, and you should've recognized my handwriting. I mean c'mon, how many times did I give you my notes in school."
Jungkook mumbled a quiet sorry. He looked like a kid, who was told not to eat any sweets until his vegetables were off from his plate. "What do you think about you, me, in my room doing a Frozen marathon?"
"Alright, but we have to stop at my parents' house first"
So that's what you did. After taking a shower Jungkook drove you to your childhood home. While you packed away your things, Jungkook had a quick chat with your dad ... about the lawn? You said bye to your mom and joined the two men at the porch.
"I'm ready" you said hugging your dad. He tightened his grip around you and with a serious expression he said to Jungkook
"No funny business" For a minute neither you nor Jungkook could say anything.
You couldn't tell why did your dad say that, and Jungkook probably shit himself. He started to stutter when your dad let out a big laugh. Hearing his laugh, Jungkook also let out an awkward chuckle.
"Alright dad, bye" You said and pulled Jungkook by his hand to his car.
"What the hell was that?" Jungkook asked once you were in the vehicle.
You shrugged "it's not like he doesn't know we do funny business"
"Don't call it that" He commanded, which lead you to repeat it like ten times.
Arriving at his house you helped his mom to make dinner. Following dinner, you started to watch Frozen.
"You know I love you right?" Jungkook asked after a while.
You were already half-asleep, you didn't have the strength to answer properly. You mumbled a quite love you too and snuggled closer to him. You were happily asleep after only moments.

moving step by step (together)
second and last thing i posted on wp that i haven't posted here ((i think)) feel free to ignore if you've read this on wattpad already, as i'm just posting it in case i need to refer to it later.
(not proofread. it never is)
prompt(?): domestic!simbar deciding to move in together (toanothercountry)
When her day began, she didn't imagine it'd end up the way it did. In fact, to Ámbar the day felt like an endless nightmare.
Between her washing machine breaking, one of her kitchen cloths accidentally catching on fire when she was making her breakfast, her car not starting and thus being late to her first class, forgetting an important paper at home and losing 1/5 of her grade for one of the toughest classes in her semester; Ámbar just wanted to call it a day and forget she even had to endure it.
"The professor told me he'd let me turn it the paper, as long as I added 10,000 words more; and hear this: he won't give me the 20% of the grade, but a 15%, tops." She still needed to get her laundry done, so she'd opted to come by Simón's loft (and Nico and Pedro's too) when her classes had ended. While she waited for it to be done, she'd grabbed a glass of wine while venting her boyfriend's ears off. "So now I need to find something to write about that's worth 1000 words of coherency, otherwise I'll be lucky to even have a 10%. And God knows I need it."
Simón kissed her head sympathetically, adjusting her head - previously leaning on his shoulder- a little bit closer to his neck. "You will, little gem. You're the smartest one in your class, I'm sure you'll find something and, it's penultimate semester, you can do it."
She groaned, "I wish it were as easy as that." He kissed her cheek this time, and she snuggled into him a bit more, needing his support to make her feel less stressed. "Enough of me, how was your day?"
He chuckled, "not as interesting as yours, I'm afraid. Did a little songwriting, had a video-call with a magazine, changed my sheets..." he winked at her, making her laugh.
"Aw, do you want me to give you a gold start? Maybe I should call your mom, tell her her little boy is a nice young man who makes his own bed." Simón leaned in to bite her cheek, causing her to and almost spill her wine all over the couch, and to prevent this, the red liquid ended up on her shirt. Technically, it was one of his, since today's clothes had been thrown in the washer with the rest of the laundry, but still, spilling wine on her clothes wasn't nice. "Simón!" she scoffed him, which only made him laugh at her. He told her to grab another of his old shirts, while he refilled her glass.
She stood up then, cursing him all the way to his room to grab one of the 'pajama' shirts he kept in his top drawer. Ámbar heard him call to her once she had put it on; "hey, is tacos okay with you for dinner? Or do you want me to order you something else?"
"What are the guys having?" she questioned, to prepare herself in case the others ordered less than what their stomachs wanted to eat, and later lead them to steal her food.
"Pedro's staying at Delfi's and Nico is out with his fling, so nothing." Simón answered her, entering his room with his cellphone at hand.
"Then the usual." She told him simply, her boyfriend nodded. "Hey, can I use your laptop to check my e-mail? My phone died."
Simón nodded again. "Sure. Hello? I would like to order two pastor gringas..." he left the room again, not before pointing at his desk, where his laptop was sitting on. She quickly turned it on, taking it to the living room to wait for Simón to finish the call.
Her boyfriend was one of those people who didn't put a password on the device itself, but on the archives in it (which were mostly lyrics, tracks, and unreleased songs), so it didn't take long until she had the browser opened.
Ámbar tried to ignore whatever Simón had open in his last tab, but the images displayed caught her attention.
No, it wasn't porn, nor was it anything compromising. At least not in that way.
Her boyfriend had a Real Estate website open, showing apartments in sale. However, that wasn't what surprised her – he'd talked about finding his own place before-, but that all the options listed Mexico City as their location.
He'd never mentioned moving back to Mexico. They'd planned vacations to his hometown Cancún, sure, but somehow in all their talks about the future she'd had assumed their plans took place in Buenos Aires, close to her family instead of his. She could deal with him going on tour for weeks – she didn't bear months as well as she did weeks, and for this he always flew her in- but to live in two different countries? How was their relationship supposed to work in that scenario? Would it even work out? Sure, she was almost over with her degree, but-
"Little gem," her eyes snapped from the screen to where Simón was standing, by the kitchen's door, "I ordered you an almond horchata, is that okay?" she kept staring at him. "What? Is my laptop giving you problems? Your mail?"
She sighed. "No, I actually haven't opened my mail yet." He gave her a confused look.
"Then what's it? You've been staring at the screen for at least two minutes."
"When were you planning on telling me you're moving to Mexico?"
His mouth shut, his eyes showed surprise and an underlying regret. "Uh... soon?"
"So it's true, then? You're moving there?" Ámbar didn't want her voice to sound as hurt as it did, but she couldn't conceal it, either. After all, this was her boyfriend, the guy she was in love with, and who she'd loved for years now... to imagine him living so far away from her, it hurt her deeply.
To find out like this, instead of from his own mouth, was like salt to the wound. Her already shitty day was turning for the worse.
Simón sighed, his demeanor showing he was ashamed of it. "It's an option." He pursed his lips slightly, walking over to the couch, taking the device off her lap to turn her body towards him. "I was planning on talking to you about this sooner than later, I promise."
"When? When you had already bought it? Or when I had to say goodbye at the airport?" she couldn't help but dab at him, her temper was talking for her right then, "and what do you mean with 'it's an option'? You're looking for a place already, surely it's more than simple 'option'."
Simón let out a sigh, a sign he wasn't sure how to explain it to her, "I- have you noticed how most of our label meetings have been taking place in México?" She nodded, it was hard not to. The boys and him didn't really leave the city unless they absolutely had to, which could be summed up in three reasons: touring, vacations, and meetings. She'd always frown a little when those meetings took place, because she couldn't really understand why they had to leave when their label had offices in BsAs, but never really dared to ask Simón, afraid she'd come out as clingy for not wanting him to leave her for a couple days.
"I just assumed all the 'important' people chose to meet there instead of flying down here."
He scratched his nape. "It's a little bigger than that. Their HQ has always been up there, and their offices here have worked on a smaller scale for years; however, they've wanted all their more... 'recognizable' artists to be closer for a while now."
"So, they're making you move there?"
"Yes and no. They've been nagging us since the beginning to move to Mexico City, but it's only now we've – well, I've- considered it as an option."
"Why? Don't Pedro and Nico want, too?"
Simón grimaced. "They've already been considering it for a couple of years." Oh. Now that she thought about it, Delfina had hinted multiple times over the months 'the possibility' of working in another country. She'd always assumed she meant taking international jobs for a short period while Pedro was out on tour too, but now she guessed she'd meant for her to imagine that possibility, too.
It seemed like she'd assumed lots of things, and it stung to know she'd been in the dark far longer than everyone else. Even Delfi – who'd been dating Pedro a considerably less time than she'd been with Simón- knew of this before her.
Which made her ask him once again. "Why didn't you tell me sooner?"
"Because you're still in uni, little gem, and I didn't want to move somewhere else while you were here; I still don't. I had a plan, honestly; I was going to wait until you neared graduation to slowly get you used to the idea, and, well, I also wanted to wait in case we didn't work out." She pursed her lips as she was still mad, but knew he had a point. He always did.
"You could've talked to me sooner, though. We could've planned this way sooner, make it easier for both." Ámbar sighed out, trying to get her anger out with it.
"I know, I get it now, and I'm very sorry." He apologized sincerely, grabbing one of her hands to kiss it. "This in no way is me telling you I'm moving tomorrow and leaving you here, little gem, I'd never do that. Hell, I don't even think I could. It's just..."
"An option." She finished for him, sighing again. "I guess I- I don't know, maybe I could start looking at internships in CDMX? When- when would this take place anyway? And I have to talk to my mo-" her eyes widened, "God, my mom! What do I tell her if we go? She'll be all alone here!" Her voice sounded panicky even to her.
"Hey, it's okay, there's no hurry. We've already postponed this for years with the boys, another year or so won't change anything, in fact, we'll need all we can get to get papers and stuff in check. And your mom can always come with us if you're worried about her, no biggie." He told her, as if the three of them moving countries wasn't a big deal, or, y'know, extremely expensive.
"Do you seriously want my mom living with us, Simón?" she snapped at him, and immediately felt bad to do so. He was just trying to help her and then here she was, bitching on his offers. "Sorry, sorry. I'm just... overwhelmed, sorry." He shrugged it off.
"I was actually thinking of you two getting your own apartment but since you're oh so kindly offering to live together..." Her eyes widened once more, shocked. She hadn't realized she'd implied that. "... I guess we can either buy or rent one for ourselves and rent another for your mom."
"That's not what- I mean it's not necessary. An apartment for my mom and I would be okay if she even agrees to move."
Her boyfriend started pouting. "Are you saying you don't want to move in with me?"
"No, no, that's not what I mean-" she stopped talking once she saw a teasing grin on his face. "You're messing with me."
He shook his head, silently laughing as he reached out to sit her on his lap, hugging her waist tightly. "I'm not. I'm actually happy you asked me to move with you, so I don't have to when the time comes."
"I didn't ask you." She felt the need to point it out. "You just assumed I did."
"Because you assumed we'd live together. It's okay; if it were up to me I'd be living with you in a heartbeat, I've thought about it for a while."
She gulped. "You have?"
"Yeah, but since I'm living with two dudes and you're living with your mom... it just isn't viable." That got her thinking.
"Why haven't you gotten your own apartment yet? Any of you?"
Simón shrugged, leaning into their coffee table to grab their glasses. "Rent is cheaper when you divide into three, and all of us have been saving up to get our own pads for when we moved to CDMX."
"It was never a matter of 'if', was it? It was always a 'when' you moved." She already knew the answer, of course, so she didn't wait for him to answer. "What took you so long to do so? I'm sure you could've done so years ago, and now you're waiting for Delfi and I, I guess, but before? What held you back?"
He pondered it for a minute, didn't speak immediately. "Something always came up. At first, we didn't have enough money saved, then Nico's mom had an accident, Pedro wanting to stay until his little sister finished high school... then you. My guess is the universe was waiting for us to meet to let me leave the city." She couldn't help but laugh at this.
"You're such a corny guy."
"Only for you, little gem, only for you." Ámbar took a sip of her wine before snuggling closer to his chest, earning her a kiss on her hair. "So, are we doing this?"
She pushed the anxiety of the unknown to the back of her mind, she knew that if she overthought about it she'd find reasons not to. Instead, she took a deep breath, intoxicating herself with the smell of soap and lotion that lingered on her boyfriend all the time.
"Yeah," she sighed, "but we're doing this together."
"Together," he repeated, giving her hand another kiss. "I like the sound of that."

Fairytale Romance: An engagement interview!!! HIRH Prince Imperial Darius and his Fiance Miss Alysha Estep sit down for an interview with Selena Murdoch!
Marasean International broadcasts from The Imperial Palace a live interview with HIRH Prince Imperial Darius and Miss Alysha Estep.
Selena Murdoch: YIRH, Miss Estep, Thank you for agreeing to sit down with me today and congratulations on your engagement. I'm sure many Maraseans agree with me when I say we are very excited for the up and coming nuptials.
HIRH: Thank you Ms Murdoch.
SM: So I guess the first question should be, which every one is dying to know, when did you two start dating? We know you met whilst you were both at University, but when did you know there was potentially something blooming between you?
HIRH: Well yes. We met during an Eco Rally, it was one of the few occasions our respective universities weren't competing against each other. Alysha actually wouldn't give me the time of day. She simply brushed me off at the Rally. It wasn't till a few days later at a convention when I tired my luck again.
Alysha: Believe it or not, I hadn't realised who Darius was until one of my roommates at the time told me that evening. To tell you the truth, I was shocked and didn't believe her until Darius found me at the Unified Marasea convention a few days later and asked me on a date.
Alysha: I'd say, it wasn't until the fifth date and, maybe... two, two and a half months of speaking via telephone, video calls and text messages did we feel that... well spark, where we got really comfortable with each other.
HIRH: I think I fell in love with Alysha pretty quickly, maybe after the third date.
Alysha: Darius actually said I love you first. This was maybe after 8, 9 months of dating.
HIRH: Which was fine. Dating a member of my family is never easy nor straight forward. Alysha didn't want to rush into anything, we both didn't. And rightly so, Alysha also wanted some guarantees that her life wouldn't be turned completely upside down. I was glad to give it to her.
Alysha: Yes, Darius was very understanding, and patient might I add. Admittedly, I was initially terrified, but, Darius was so attentive and caring, it didn't take me long to fall for him and to fall hard.
SM: And the rest of the rest is history?
HIRH: Yes, almost five years later, the rest is history.
SM: So you took your time?
HIRH: Yes, I didn't want to push Alysha, because I knew she was special, and... I wanted to give her an out.
SM: An out?
HIRH: Yes, an out. As a member of my Family, our whole lives are dedicated to public service, which can sometimes leave time for little else.
Alysha: Darius did explain to me, after about two years of dating and a couple of months before I met TIRM's what it would mean to join the Family. It was already clear by that point that the relationship was serious, if not quickly getting there. Of course we have discussed this in more detail since.
SM: And we know around that time you had just moved in together. There were reports about a number of break-ins and security had to be increased. Could you tell us a little more about that? I must have been a difficult time for you.
HIRH: Well we won't go into too much detail about that, but yes it was a difficult time for me, for us, but especially for Alysha. We had kept the relationship under the radar pretty well until that point. We were going out in public a bit more often, and with that comes the increased likelihood that we will be spotted. Hence the Lady in Red edition in the Marasean Times. After that, another news outlet produced what can only be described as a resume on Alysha from what could be garnered on the internet. Thank fully not much. But there was enough trivial information to stimulate some interest into who Alysha was, or maybe because there was so little. Some employees of a news outlet that shall remain unnamed, where... overzealous, and saw an opportunity to be the first to ''spill the beans'' on the Imperial Prince's girlfriend. We won't say anymore on the subject...
SM: Fair enough. So how long was it before you introduced Alysha to the Imperial Royal Family and visa versa?
HIRH: As you know, we were dating for two years before I introduced Alysha to my parents. It was actually my Uncle ( the Imperial Duke of Sulani) , who met Alysha first. By the time of our graduation I had already relocated to where we live now and was spending most of my time in Sulani by that point. It happened organically really. Alysha was there for a visit and he just dropped by with the family, my cousins and my Aunt. We're not very far from each other, maybe a 10 minute walk. We're dropping in on each other all the time. It wasn't planned, it just so happened that Alysha was there that time around.
Alysha: Darius' Uncle, Aunt and cousins were all really welcoming and we ended up spending the rest of my stay, if think I was staying for two weeks at the time?
HIRH: Yes about that.
Alysha: We ended up spending the rest of it with them.
HIRH: That was the first year of dating, a couple of months after that it was my brother (Imperial Duke of Linacre) and Lorna, he had been dying to meet Alysha, so they invited us around to dinner. My little sister (HIRH Princess Imperial Erika Cara) was there too. And then it was Nerina and Greyson (TIRH The Grand Imperial Duchess and Duke of Marasea), again for dinner. A couple of months after that, it was time to meet the parents.
SM: So the Christmas get way to Terra House last Christmas wasn't the first time you introduced Alysha to the family?
Alysha: No, I had met them all before that point.
SM: Did you have any worries about meeting them Miss Estep?
Alysha: No, not at all. I was more worried about the protocols and addressing everyone by the correct titles. Once you get past that there was really nothing to worry about. Darius only ever referrers to them like any other son would, sister, brother, mother father ect... To me I was meeting his family.
SM: And what about your Family Miss Estep?
Alysha: It was within the first year of dating that Darius met my sisters. I was living with them during my last year of University. So, it was easily done. Darius came over and we ordered in some take away and that was it really, it was a really normal night.
SM: Your sisters? Are you not an orphan?
HIRH: That is an in inappropriate and personal question...
Alysha: No, Darius it's okay. Yes, I am an orphan, but family isn't always the one you are born with, sometimes it is the one you choose and make for yourself. So yes, my sisters, I have four, are my family. I make no distinction between them and those I may be biological related to.
SM: I'm sorry if I caused any offense, it was not my intention. What you have said is very moving... apologies.
Alysha: Thank you...
SM: So the wedding, is there anything you can tell us about it? Will it be a private affair?
HIRH: There is not much we can tell you about it now, we haven't even decided ourselves...
SM: Nothing at all?
Alysha: Sorry no, unfortunately everyone will have to wait. We can say that there will be announcement made soon.
SM: Okay, we will all, no doubt, be eagerly waiting for the news. YIRH, after you are married, have you made any decisions in regards to your position in the Imperial Family? We've known for years that you have wanted to step back for a more private life like you Uncle, The Imperial Duke of Sulani. Has that changed now that you have met Alysha?
HIRH: Well yes, yes it has...
SM: And???
HIRH: I, well we, have decided to stay and serve as working Imperial Royals. I realised, when Alysha and I attended a couple of engagements together, that what I was really missing was a partner. A weight of the responsibility is shared when you are able to perform you public duties with a partner. My brother found it, my sister found it and my mother found it too. I have found my partner, in life, service and in love in Alysha.
SM: Unbelievable, wonderful. Such a beautiful sentiment. What about the charity in Sulani, you were setting up with HIRM, Prince-Consort Ngata?
HIRH: That will still go ahead. We are still dedicated to setting up a charity there. We will have our main residence near to Mother (HIRM Empress Sheva) to be of service, but will split our time between here and Sulani. We are determined to make this work.
SM: Wonderful! That's a perfect way to end this interview. Thank you so much for your time. May I offer you my congratulations once again!
HIRH: Thank you...
Alysha: Thank you...
Phew! That took forever to write, I hope you all enjoy!!! Fingers crossed. It's a long one, but I saw no way to shorten it... :)
