Underforest-chapter 7
I walked into the town. It was sunny, and no rain appeared. A slight breeze flew by, and I saw people walking around, saying hi to Sans. “Hi Sans! Huh! Found a lil monster?” said a bunny lady. “yup. found em walking around, all scared an stuff. well, you’re ok now, eh, kid?” I nodded. I pointed to the shop near the inn. Sans walked me over there. It was warm inside, and another nice bunny lady looked at me. She was sewing some clothes that another small bunny nearby was fidgeting about. “Mom! I want the clothes to show my friends!”
“Im hurrying dear.”
“Oh! Hello Sans, how can I help?”
“hey, ms bun. how are ya?”
“Oh, I'm alright, sans. Did you find any beetroot?” Sans nodded, smile growing wider. “yup, a whole garden's worth and more, all hidden behind a pile of rocks.” He handed some beetroot to Ms Bun. Ms Bun gave him some money, then looked at me. “Oh! Hello!” she greeted me brightly “Sans, was this child lost in the woods?” Sans nodded “yup.”
“Don’t worry child, we’ll keep you safe! Just don’t go in the forest, alright?” I nodded. “Now, Sans, wanna buy something?” Sans shook his head, then pointed to me “the kid does. they got a lotta money.” I bought some food, and an umbrella. Just as I was going to buy all my new stuff, I saw something out of the corner of my eye. A small doll decorated with leaves and flowers sat on a high shelf. I pointed to it. “Hmm? Oh! That old doll.” She handed it to me. “This was an old, old doll. I heard that the king’s children owned it. Heh. You can have it. You remind me of one o’ them.” She handed it to me. It was made with care, but now some of the seams were falling out, and the stuffing inside was drooping sadly. I could feel an uneasy presence as I placed the doll in my knapsack.
I paid for my stuff, and left with Sans. “well, kid. it’s getting kinda late. head back to the inn, and we’ll talk tomorrow.” I went back to the inn, waved to the innkeeper, and went upstairs. I fell asleep quickly, and dreamed. I saw a child drawing. They had a purple and yellow shirt, and khaki shorts. They turned toward me, and they had my face! They walked towards me, and right before they touched me, I woke up. It was still late. I heard mutterings from outside. Giggles. I peeked the window open a tad. I saw 2 small shapes, sneaking towards the forest. I knew something bad was going to happen, I knew! I quietly changed into some clothes, put on my scarf, and grabbed my backpack.
After some hesitation, I grabbed the doll. It looked like a little goat-person. A lot like Toriel, but with a purple and yellow shirt, and little khaki shorts. Odd…. I rushed outside, tip-toeing after the 2 shapes. The trees seemed to glare at me. The shapes stopped. “W-whos there?!” someone whispered loudly. “Cory, shut up!” the shorter shape said.
“S-sorry Izzy.” I walked closer. “D-don’t come closer! We’ll…” He paused. “Izzy.” Another figure, the girl I heard earlier, spoke up. “Yeah?”
“Where's the long stick?”
“Uhm..I dropped it.”
“WHY?!”
“I thought it was a branch!” I walked next to them. “Uhm..hello.” I said “AAAAA!” the girl, Izzy, screamed “SHH! Keep it down, and I won’t tell.” I told them. They took off their cloaks. The little bunny from the shop, and a dragon. “Ok, what the heck is going on,” I said. “Sorry,” said the bunny. “Um..I’m Cory,”
“I’m Izzy.” said the dragon. “I’m Frisk.” I said. “Nice to meet you, Frisk.” said Cory. “Errr… We haven’t seen you around here.” said Izzy. “Did you come from the forest?” “Yes,” I said. “I…came from the side near the ruins.” Izzy looked relieved “Phew. I thought you were one of those spooky monsters.” she said. “What monsters?” I asked. “Monsters that wrap you up and steal your lifeforce! Then, they disguise themselves as you.”
“Spooky!” I shivered. “BUT…Theres always something different about them. A different tail, a freckle, a cut where there was none. Heh heh…” said Izzy. “Heh…where's Cory?” We looked around. “Hi guys!” Cory appeared. “Oh, hey Cory! Geez, you scared us.” said Izzy. “Haha! Don’t worry. Come on guys, I saw something cool! A really cool bug.” Cory started to run ahead, then stopped. “Guys?” Izzy had stopped. “Cory doesn’t like bugs.” Her eyes lit up, she opened her mouth and fire blasted at Cory. Cory dodged, faster than lightning. ‘Cory’ dashed at us, eyes red and arms out. This was the monster Izzy had been talking about. Blue, jagged rocks shot at us. Izzy stood still. I went to protect her.
“Don’t!” The rock passed through her. Then she went back to blasting fire. “Blue means stand still! Orange means move!” She moved around, spraying fire at the monster. A bunch of blue rocks circled her, and she was hit. “No!” I ran towards her, but was hit with one of the sharp rocks. The monster, now in its true form, a tree-like golem, stood over us, arms ready to pound us into dust. I cowered. Suddenly, it glowed blue, and it was slammed into the ground. “hey kid. tell me about this later. for now, get the other kid and RUN.” I hesitated. “NOW, CHILD.” he yelled at a volume that was so much louder than his normal, quiet tone.
Me and Izzy ran back to the hotel and waited. About an hour later, Sans came in, carrying a small pouch. “you two care to explain why you were in the forest at such a late hour, followed by an explanation of why cory is lost now?” Izzy spoke up. “It was my fault, sir! I convinced her to help me calm the spirits of the forest! I'm so sorry!!”
Sans’ expression calmed down, and he gave the dragon a neutral expression. “i understand. if the spirits are this angry… they must feel it too. they must be aware that there is a human within our forest. frisk. come with me. now.” I followed him out the door, and into the forest. He made a small cage filled with bones, probably so no one could get inside. “do you know why the forest is haunted?” I shook my head. His eyes darkened, as he began to tell a story.
“Long ago, a human fell down here. Their name has been forgotten to the sands of time, but they were known to be a kind child. They helped the residents of this forest, they never harmed or raised their voice at another monster. They were kind. They were bent on helping us escape.
One day, a group of fire elementals attacked her. They tortured her. They almost killed her. Luckily, they were stopped. I stopped them before they could kill her. But… she was beyond my help. She believed that everyone was evil.
She snapped.
She killed many people and animals in both Raindin and Sundin, and left many more wounded. Finally, she found me and my brother. She threatened him. She threw her knife… but I caught it, and threw it right back into her heart. She died, and our town was safe. But the people who died… their souls were unable to rest. I don’t know, but me and my father have been trying to see if the spirits are haunting the forest, since we buried their remains there, long before it ever started raining there. That only started happening 10 years ago, maybe a few years after the incident.”His eyes darkened, as if he was remembering something awful. “What happened to your father?” I asked him. “he’s gone. the forest took him.” He was silent. I don’t know why, but I ran through the bones and into the forest, with Sans in tow. I was gonna calm the spirits of the forest.

MOVIE THE LAST LEGION AGE UP COUPLE: ROMULUS X READER RATING: SMUT
Tumblr media
I stood leant on the balcony looking out across the city, watching the villages on the other side of the mountain… they were burning, the smoke rising high into the sky, the flames illuminating the stars, we had sent a legion but they had been slaughtered along with the hundreds of men, women and children defenceless and slaughtered. My advisors were idiots, my staff useless. I feared for those in the city and the palace, the hundreds and thousands here that would die if our walls were to be breached.
I knew what had to be done, but I was fearful to do it.
"Romulus My king, please, you must reconsider" my father said as we walked down the hallowed palace halls
"Reconsider? What other hope have I got?"
"Our walls with prevail the legions will destroy them before they step foot into the city"
"Yeah we send one to protect the villages… how well did that go"
"Those were rural mountain villages, now where near the strength or security of the city”
“And what happens if they do get through the wall?”
“The army will-”
“What happens. If they get though?”
“If they get though” He says “The moment one of the barbarian men steps foot in on the city stone, We will have you halfway to britannia”
“So, you want me to run off to Britannia with my tail between my legs? While my people die for me? While they suffer under a barbarian ruler? While children are tortured? While women are raped in the streets? Men forced into amries? While I hide myself away in Britannia hiding away in some dirty, muddy, tiny little hole while he destroys everything my ancestors have built?”
“Why not come sit in with the senet we will discuss the attack and matters” “The senet is a bunch of men sitting around with titles from a hundred years ago. What is that going to help?”
“They know the city better than anyone” “The beggars in the street know the city better the senet never leaves the palace” I sighed
“Then why not go to the vestals? They always have good advice for the kings”
“Ohh so you want me to go sit around with a bunch of honry old virgins? And philosophers who cut their dicks off?”
“Then go to the library and discuss with the Philosophers?”
“Ohh please, Unless I’m a new constellation, some old books or a cannabis bath they couldn’t give less of a shit” I sighed
“Then go to the temple my king, discuss with the gods. Think things over in their presence” He says “Speak with Minerva, Take council with Mars,”
“I’m going to the temple… just not theres”
“I still do not advise it my king”
“Well that's all it is. Advice” I said “I’m going to see her”
“You know the sort of things people…. Will say they see you going there?”
“I know. But I need power… and wisdom. Older, Stronger than the twelve”
I could feel my fear, thick inside my heart, getting heavier, harder, Like… I wanted to run away with every step I took closer, my escort followed me as did two slaves heading though the city past people all adoring but even the people had fear knowing the trouble coming and some knowing… where I was going. I walked the walk of gods where the temples all sat, I past Vesta and Vulcan, Past ceres and Minerva, Past Apollo and Diana, Past Venus, Past Neptune, Past mercury and mars, Past Pulto, Past juno and Jupiter… but I stopped a moment and nodded to the female slave who carried the offerings she nodded and took some of the flowers to juno and jupiter's statues as I felt there eyes watched me. Once she came back I continued until reaching the end of the road where the temple of Luna sat.
I went inside the empty temple, the black stone mosaic floor clean and the roof open to allow in the sun but at the right times the moon. I went to the statue and left all the flowers there and I saw the door at the side
“Stay here, I need to see her alone” I said. They nodded so I headed to the door and down the stone steps deeper below the temple. Each stone step was dusty, and felt Ill trodden.
I got to the chamber firelight cascading across the room and a woman in black knelt on the stone.
“Greetings My king” she said
“Greetings Lady of the Moon” I said
“What is it you seak?”
“You know what I seak”
She stopped and turned to me pulling the hood of her dress down revealing her shock white hair
“You seak her?”
“I do.”
“You know what darkness lurks there?”
“I do. Please…. I need her.”
“I can send you there… but I cannot be held accountable for if you return”
“I know that. But I must see her”
"....very well. You know where she is"
"Thank you" I nodded hurrying out the temple.
I stood changing my clothes to look plain so I could walk freely wrapping a brown cloak around me,
"Please let someone accompany you"
"No. I don't wanna scare her. I take an army boy she'll think I'm arresting her, besides I need to be quiet, quick and unnoticed. She already knows I'm coming if she's going to hurt me there is little we can do about it"
"My king… as one of your oldest and most trusted advisors make I speak plainly"
"Yes."
"I think you are betraying the gods. Your people. And your ansestors. Romulus… I have severed your family my whole life, served your father and mother while you rested in her womb and I have seved you every day you have been king… I beg of you. Do not go to her"
"I must. And honestly…" I said "I want to see her"
"Very well my king" he nods
I took my things and scurried out the palace like a theif, sneaking thought the city as best I could trying not to draw attention to myself keeping my hood up so people didn't see who I was, I got to the city gate out to the woods seeing travelers coming in to find rooms for the night, women coming in from walks in the woods with there baskets, traders headed in and out but I walked straight out.
I felt so strange but I kept walking deeper and deeper into the woods, walking the pathway between the trees and animal burrows flowing the trail of lavender flowers that grow along the walk, there purple glow in the setting sun leading me to her.
I stopped, as I arrived.
The smell of grass, lavender and smoke filled my sinuses.
The sound of music from within, the wind in the tree's like voices, the movements of the branches and grass all seemed muted here.
I could feel grass and small sticks under my feet.
As I looked apon the house.
It was a small thached cottage with firelight beyond the windows, smoke coming from the chimneys, a wooden fence around the garden where herbs and flowers grew a gate in the fence sat close to me open already, beside the gate was a little apothecary shelf with a few bottles of things.
I stepped inside the gate shutting it behind me pulling down my hood stepping in the stone wedged into the dirt to avoid touching any plants I went to the blue door tapping three times.
The door creaked open, I exhaled to calm me down before stepping inside, I shut the door behind me looking at the cottage, it was dark the fire going yet it did illuminate much, herbs sat on windowsills and tools in tables, a bed by the side with gosomer red and purple curtains and sheets with lots of pillows, symbols carved into anything wood or stone, the smell of something sweet over the fire and I saw her across the room sat surrounded by candles in her black dress she faced away from me her hair tightly wound around her head, working one something at her desk, lightly humming as she did.
I stood a moment just listening to her hum, to the fire crack all of it muffled by the sound of my own heart beating in my ears.
"I-" I began
"Romulus Augustus, king of rome, second if his name right, blood of Cesar, the boy king" she says "good evening"
"Good evening miss."
"You don't have to you know"
"Don't have to what?" I asked
"Go see her. If you would like to come see me romulus you have only to come see me" she says mixing potions
"I like to, so you know I'm coming"
"I always know when your coming" she giggled
"I know you do. But still"
"I know why your here"
"I don't doubt you do." I said "you know everything else"
"Not everything"
"Almost everything"
"You know I can't romulus. It's not fair"
"How is it not? He believes himself a god carries dark magic with him it's only leveling the battle field"
"And I'm sure he'd say the same if he found out you had first"
"Y/n. Please"
"My magic isn't strong enough for that romulus"
"Isn't strong enough? I've seen the power you have…" I said going over to her wrapping my arms around her neck and kissing her hair "I know you can. Please… thousands in the city will die if you don't"
"And thousands of them will die if I do" she says turning to face me going to get up and walk somewhere else but I held her hand
"If your alligence to me? Or to him?"
"Neither of you" she says "I don't fight. For either side" she says moving away to go to the fire
"You've seen what will happen if you don't? Haven't you?"
"I have"
"Tell me"
"No. Knowone should know there-"
"Tell me!" I snapped "by order of the king you will tell me"
"I…. Romulus I can't" she said holding back tears I went over and pulled her to my chest kissing her hair
"I'll die. Won't I?"
She nods
"And if you do?"
"Then he dies"
"Y/n… I know that can't be easy. But would you listen anyway?"
"Okay" she nods
"If you help me, I can give you anything, you'll save thousands of men, women and children in the city, save generations of art, books, sculptures that you'll know he'll destroy if he can and… and I'll owe you my life. And anything I have the power to give you I will. Land, a title, servents, a castle, whatever you want in this world I will do it for you, if you just do this...for me"
"Romulus, he's my father" she says
"He abused you, abandoned you, murdered your mother, I know he's your father but he has never once treated you like his daughter," I explain "atleast I wouldn't hurt you, I care about you… my little witch" I smiled caressing her cheek
"Romulus, you know I can't" she says pushing me away and going back to her work
"So you'll let me die?" I asked she didn't answer "... I thought you loved me?"
"I do"
"You love me? Your the only one who can help and your going to let me die?"
"Romulus! I can't"
"Why not?" I asked her "give me one good reason why you can't?" She didn't answer just sitting there staring at the fire "well?"
"Relax. I already did" she smiled
"What?"
"Seriously romulus I did it hours ago. Before you even left home"
"... You evil little thing! You really had be going there didn't you!"
"It's fun" she giggled
"What do you need for doing it?" I asked
"The usual"
"Alright" I smiled getting the coins out my bag and the little bag of treats from the palace kitchens
"Thank you" she giggled taking the to put them elsewhere in her house
"Your welcome my little witch. Thank you for doing so"
"I have to take care of you" she smiled "speaking of which?"
"Is it that time again already?"
"Humm"
"Alright," I smirked slipping off my cloak and my bag leaving them by the door I went over to the bed perching myself on the edge leaning in my elbows as she came over and began untieing my pants hooking her finger into each loop of the string pulling hard and so each loop and knot undid until they where completely untied she pulled them down enough that my cock jumped free excited to see her, I bit my lip hard watching her undo the small leather corset around her waist letting it drop to the floor which allowed her dress that noticably wasn't tied together in the centre as it should have been, she took each side and pulled it off letting it pool in the floor around her leaving her completely naked. I tried not to moan just looking at that beautiful body. She let her hair down completely and pushed me back in the bed I smirked back and moved to be laid in her bed as she crawled ontop of me sitting so my cock nuzzled between the lips of her pussy. I went to touch her breasts but she slapped my hands away
"You know the rules" she says
"I know" I blushed "I pledge my heart, my soul and my body, willingly and ...excited"
"I pledge my heart, my body, and my soul willingly" she giggled before she lent down and kissed me, those lips as soft and sweet as last I was here. I kissed back eagerly as I felt her undoing my shirt so I took over and pulled it off throwing it off the bed she smirked sitting up and next I knew I was inside her
"Uughhh y/n!" I groaned grabbing her hips feeling how warm and soft she was around me
She gasped as she reached the hilt and moved over grabbing something from her table as she did the way she leant her breasts where in my face so I smirked nuzzling with them and giving them kisses
"Romulus!" She giggled pushing me away
"Aww come on! You can't wave them in my face and not expect me to give them a kiss" I smirked
“Dirty boy” she smirked holding her knife she cut her hand she offered the knife so I let her cut my hand and I took her hand tightly feeling my heart beating out of my chest as she began to move …

Nests and why they are important.
This is just idea thinking. For the winged au (when talking about birds and people and such I mean the people with wings, sorry!)
(This is really long so, sorry about that)
Okay so nests
They are circles made of blankets, pillows, feathers and a soft mattress that is difficult to tear or cut, because claws.
They are the place these feather heads sleep and keep warm but
There is way more than that!
Okay so,,,, lets get into the world building
Predators (eagles/hawks) are bigger than most other birds with only a few exceptions, therefore they need less blankets and pillows to keep warm since they themselves can keep warm just fine on their own plus there’s wings, so adding onto that a predator will keep molted feathers that have been gifted to them in their nest, gifting a feather is something very important because it’s like giving a piece of your essence.
A birds wings symbolizes their freedom and who they are, a slaves or prisoners wings may be broken, burned or torn right off to show what they are, that they have lost their freedom and who they are as a person.
A predators nest is usually a bit above the ground, but babies bounce so it’s okay. When they have chicks there will usually be many more blankets and pillows. You can actually tell where the chick/s sleep because there will be this little separate nest made of blankets and pillows, inside the nest, with these large imprints around them. It’s really cute. ^-^
A song bird’s (Robbins, starlings, sparrows, etc) nest is naturally smaller than a predators and have many more blankets and pillows to keep them warm and comfortable. A songbird might give hand made blankets or pillows with one of their feathers sewn in.
It is very unwise to refuse a gift from a songbird since gift giving is something very important to these small but mighty people and if you refuse a gift they will take great offence and you will find a pouty songbird (but like seriously these guys are tiny terrors DO NOT PISS THEM OFF TRUST ME. They can and will out fly and out maneuver you, theres a reason they’re hard to catch.) How you can get forgiveness is by giving them a basket with some bread and a few other things such as berries or seeds and some sweets.
A song birds nest will be on the ground usually in an open area (in their house of course!) where natural sunlight can easily come in. There would usually be a wide window on each side of the room to let in light from the sunrise and light from the sunset. Song birds rise and set with the sun.
A corvids nest (ravens, jays, magpies) is actually one of the only ones to still use sticks and natural items for their nests, it’s actually incredible. Their instincts are still rather strong when it comes to certain things, so they tend to have a liking for tradition but there are some who don’t follow tradition.
Please do not offer to help a corvid with their nest, in their culture it means you have a romantic interest in them and they will either A) explain to you what that means to them or B) tell you no or let you down gently or C) accept your offer. If they accept your offer hopefully you understand their culture or you’ll be having an awkward conversation.
They still have a mattresses it’s just more bowl shape and surround by sticks, moss and leaves. Plus blankets, pillows and feathers, they’re still keeping up with the times. Usually with a corvids nest (specifically magpies but all of them do this) you’ll find shiny little objects woven into the branches that keep the nest together. Taking one of these usually means untold doom, adding one and it staying there means that you are trusted, the corvid thinks of you as part of their flock. Congrats you now have a giant puppy that will commit theft for you /lh
A Corvids nest because of the bowl shape can be hard for chicks to crawl out of. This is actually used to the parents advantage so that until the baby birds can crawl out of the nest without any help they’re more or less restricted to the nest for safety reasons of course! The parents will take the chicks out of the nest so that they can get fresh air, meet people and actually learn how to walk and further develop their muscles and wings.
Owls who? Haha don’t mind the pun. Anyways, an owls nest well more like their cities are up high in the trees, in the ancient forests. The trees in the ancient forests are at least three metres across and the height is very tall. They’ll have their nests in either natural or homemade hollows in these large and ancient trees high above the ground. But don’t worry! The have decks and bridges and railings and all that to help keep them safe! There’s even ramps that lead to the ground incase any chicks who are branching fall to the ground or any elders or just people who can’t fly in general are on the ground!
You will not catch a single stair in the owls home, they believe that for everyone to be equal everything must accessible by everyone, there’s even some elevators using the pulley system! Everyone there does their fair share, even the children, instead of money being used people will trade items or help the other person out.
Their nests tend to have a lot of animal skins instead of blankets, with pillows made of fur that has been taken off of the animal skin and wrapped or tied together with string or fabric. Their mattresses are flatter and tend to be made of moss, leaves and bark softened through boiling of water then covered in more furs because soft = yes.
Burrowers are birds that live under ground, it’s in the name. Think hobbit holes but put them at the base of large trees or bushes and make them not hobbit holes. Because the term “Burrowers” spread across most families it is difficult to pin point a specific design or commonality between all of the different “Burrowers”. Usually you can assume a Burrowers nest will be like the rest of their species/ family but put it underground.
Tropical birds will have their nest anywhere, inside a hut, on top of the trees (literally), inside a tree, on the branches, on the ground, hanging in the air, anywhere they will put their nests. But there are two things in common, one: it’s always in a heavily forested place or the jungle, tropical birds have grown up with vines and branches and a lot of things getting in their way while flying, they have grown used to the chaos of the jungle and they revel in it. Two: the roof is always transparent, removable, nonexistent or it’s there simply so the house is attached to at least something while its hanging in the air.
Because of their choice of residence (where they want to live) it’s extremely hard to get to their homes so we had to ask a tropical bird when we found one and the most they told us was: “we have a mattress, pillows and blankets.” And they wouldn’t tell us anymore because. “What else is there to tell?”
A hummingbirds nest is rather small with high walls. Because the chicks are so fragile they spend most of their time inside the nest sleeping, eating and trying to strengthen up their bones. In fact their bones are so fragile that if a hummingbird chick were to try and walk their legs would simply snap under the pressure of gravity and their own body weight.
When under quite a bit of stress or experiencing quite a lot of emotions or just one strong emotion, the nest will be changed. However, how much of the nest that will be changed is is a different story.
Another time the nest will be changed is when the people of the house are expecting chicks, either the entire home will be cleaned or the nest will become nothing but a blanket Fort, or something like that.
Thanks for reading this thing on nests I guess, I’ve still got a lot of world building to do but if you have any questions about the world or anything please send it in! I would love it if you did! It would actually help me a lot on the world building!

The doctor and the demon Part 2
Summary: Henrik discovers where Chase went. He finds himself trapped in a castle.
If your looking for Part 1, just go to my blog and search beauty and the beast.
________________________________________________________________
It was two weeks after Chase left that Henrik started getting suspicious. The first snow would most likely be today, and Chase still wasn’t back. Henrik slipped on his coat, planning on going out to search for his friend when a knock on the door interrupted him.
Looking through the peephole, He sighed, putting his hands in his hands, once he saw Dark standing in front of the door. Henrik’s first thought, was to not answer and climb out the back window. Unfortunately, Dark had other ideas, and let himself leave.
“Dark, can't say it’s a pleasure,” Henrik said with a deadpan look. He silently cursed himself for not getting a lock on that door. It was a small town, not much crime, but he didn’t think about nosy neighbors.
“Oh, don’t be like that, Henry,” Dark waved his hands and said this, as though they were old friends.
“I know you love to see me.” He put an arm around the smaller man and closed the door with his foot.
Henrik slipped out of his grasp. He took a deep breath in an effort to calm himself, and in the sweetest voice he could muster, he said, “Well you can’t stay long. I’m heading out soon.” He gestured towards his coat.
“Well, where ya heading.” Dark made a move to put his arm around him again, but he was quicker this time. “I’m sure I can be of some assistance.”
“I’m going out, to find a friend of mine,” He answer truthfully seeing no reason to lie.
 “Well. Why can’t come along?”
Henrik back away towards the door, Dark put his hand on either side of his head. He leaned in close.
“I don’t need you to,” Henrik said. “Beside’s, you’ve overstayed your welcome.” Henrik opened the door and ducked under Dark’s arm, causing him to fall into the mud below.
He slammed the door shut and rush to grab a chair and jam it under the door. He made a mental note to get a lock and snuck out the back window.
After some sneaking around, and ducking into corners, Henrik made his way into the forest. He could faintly see tracks in the soft dirt. It had just begun to snow as he entered the forest.
Henrik would often go through these woods to find herbs and spices, for medicine (and dinner at times). He knew his way around and he knew the path to the other town fairly well. He has gone on personal trips there to help some injured person, in need of professional help.
Following the track marks, left by the cart, he quickly realized Chase had taken a wrong turn on a crossroads, that was closer to their town. Henrik bit his thumb.
There were about three crossroads on the way to town. If you missed even one, you could get extremely lost. That's why he was always so worried for Chase’s safety.
Knowing that standing here and panicking would get him nowhere, Henrik trudged along the path. It was mid afternoon, when he found the first clue on where chase went, and he didn’t like it.
He could barely see them, but in one area there was a pack of wolf prints surrounding the cart and the horse. It seemed like, once the wolves surrounded them, Chase fell of the horse and ran in a completely different direction.
He laughed despite himself. He realized how much he was acting like a detective from one of his favorite novels. It was a funny thought to distract him from Chase’s possible fate.
Shortly after he found a trail of Chase’s footprints, it’s began snowing. He cursed and picked up his speed. He cursed himself for not searching for him sooner.
The faint wolf prints following Chase’s, worried the doctor, but the remains of a burnt branch gave him hope. Soon the outline of a fence came into view, he ran faster knowing Chase could be safe.
His hope was drained when he noticed the blood, splattered on the bars. Even if it was just a small cut, Chase could die of an infection within days. His stomach dropped into a pit.
With his last bit of hope, he opened the gate. There was a cobblestone path, so Henrik couldn’t even tell if Chase made it this far or he meet his fate before he got in and something else dragged him away.
No, no. Henrik shook his head. If he died back there, there would be more blood splattered about.
Sucking in a deep breath he forced his way down the path. Glancing at each of the statues, his hope diminished. He could stand here all day and stare at them, but he need confirmation.
Not thinking, Henrik opened the doors to the castle at the end of the path. The inside seemed to be colder than outside. Pulling his coat tighter he looked around and called out.
“Hello?” He immediately felt stupid. Was some crazy sociopath going to come up and say “Oh, hay come in. We have tea?”
He laughed at his own stupid thought.
“Someone's here! Should we scare them away?” Henrik heard someone whisper.
“No, they might be the one we’ve been looking for,” another voice said.
“If anyone is there, can you tell me if you’ve seen a friend of mine?” Henrik asked, then added. “His name is Chase.”
“Chase? Isn’t that the name of the guy, boss threw into the dungeon?” The first voice asked.
 “What dungeon?” He asked.
“Dahm it, Marvin!” The second voice whisper yelled.
“Down the stairs, to your right,” The voice, that was probably Marvin, said.
Henrik followed those instructions, he found the dungeon was even colder than outside. He hated that Chase has most likely been here for weeks.
The first cage, Henrik noticed a figure huddled in the corner.
 “Chase?!” He called out.
The figure shifted and looked out. It was Chase.
 “Henry?” Chase mumbled.
“Hold on, I’ll find away to get you out!” He turned to try and find a key, when he was stopped by a tall figure. He felt like he’s been in this situation before.
Slowly looking up, he realized the figure before him was too tall to be human. He couldn’t see the creatures face, but he could feel it breathing heavily
“And what-” the creature leaned in closer, “-are you being here.”
Henrik’s heart was beating faster, in fear, but he held his ground.
“I am here for my friend,” he stated as contentedly as he could.
“Your friend stole from me. He deserves to be locked up,” the creature growled.
“What did he steal?” he asked.
“Something that was very important to me,” the creature stated. Henrik glared the best he could; not satisfied with with that answer. The creature noticed this and continued. “A red rose.”
Henrik’s stance flattered. Guilt and anger welled up inside him.
“Let him go,” he said firmly.
The creature laughed, or at least it might have been a laugh (it sounded like a dying cat).
It leaned in closer. “And why, would I do that?”
“Because-” his voice cracked, “-I was the one who asked him to bring me a rose. Let him go and take me in exchange.
 “Henrik no!” Chase screamed.
The creature laughed again. “It’s a deal!”
Before he could really react, Chase was snatched out of the cage and he was thrown in. He could hear Chase yelling as the thing carried him off. He teared up a bit.
By the time the creature returned, Henrik had given into his emotions and was crying.
The creature tilled it’s head in a confused manner.
“You didn’t even let me say goodbye,” he sobbed.
The creature grunted and left the dungeon. He was going to head to his own room when he was stopped by a candle stick.
“I would like to suggest something. If I may?” Marvin said.
The creature gave a grunt and Marvin continued.
“I was th-thinking, b-boss, since this man will be staying with us for a while, we could… we could,” Marvin trailed off, nervously.
“Get on with it,” the creature said.
“I was thinking.. Maybe we could move him to a nicer place. To make him more comfortable and maybe-” Marvin paused again, “-and maybe you two could get along.”
The creature gave him an annoyed look and growled. Marvin flinched.
“I suppose your right,” the creature grumbled and turned back around.
Back in the dungeon Henrik had already sat down on the pile of hay and was crying silently. The cage door opened with a long creek.
 “Come on!” The creature beckoned.
Henrik obeyed. “Where are you taking me?” He asked.
 “To your room.”
 “My room?”
The creature turned and looked at him. “Do you want to stay in the dungeon?” He asked.
“No,” Henrik said, shaking his head.
 “Then stop asking questions!”
After a long pause Henrik asked another question.
 “Do you have a name?”
The creature stopped walking and was silent for a long time. “Anti,” He finally said.
After going up a flight of stairs and passing multiple statutes, they stopped at a door.
“This will be your room,” Anti said. “Feel free to explore the manor, it is your home after all. You my go where ever you like, except the west wing. It is forbidden.”
 “What's in the west wing?”
“It is forbidden!” Anti said louder.
The inside of the room was warm. The walls were painted light blue, the bed had darker blue sheets and blanket. It was a nice room, but Henrik didn’t like to think of it as home. Without Chase, how could he call anything home?
“You will join me for dinner.” Anti stated.
“I’m not hungry,” Henrik said, sounding like a bratty child.
Anti bore his teeth, trying to keep clam. “I’m sure you’ll be hungry later. You’ll regret not coming.”
“I don’t want to come. Leave me alone.”
“Um.. boss,” Marvin, who followed them up here, said, “I think we should give him some space. He just got here after all.”
 Anti ignored him.
“Fine then! Starve!” He screamed and slammed the door hard enough the shake the ground.
He turned to Marvin and the group of other appliances that followed them.
“If he doesn’t eat with me he doesn’t eat at all,” he said then stormed off.
Henrik buried his face into the sheets. Maybe if he fell asleep this will all turn out to be a bad dream.
A little while later, Henrik heard a knock on the door. “Go away!” he yelled into the pillow.
Whoever was on the other side of the door knocked again, harder this time.
He groaned. “There’s not even a lock on that door,” he yelled.
“Well I’m sorry. I’ve been told it’s rude to open someones door without knocking,” a voice said, the door opened.
Henrik didn’t see anyone enter, but he could hear something moving along the floor. He looked down to see an old clock, a candlestick, and a feather duster.
“Heyo!” the candle said. “I’m Marvin!”
The clock sighed. “My name is Jackie.”
“You may refer to me as google,” the feather duster stated in a monotone voice.
“Your.. talking to me,” Henrik said. He felt stupid after saying that.
“Yeah you are! Isn’t that cool,” Marvin cheered. “Well cool for you, not really for us.”
Jackie mumbled something, then spoke up. “We’re here to take you to dinner.”
“I told him I didn’t want to eat.” His stomach growled, disproving his last statement.
“You won’t be dining with him tonight. After you rejected him, he locked himself up. You’ll be dining with us,” Google said.
“Won’t he hear us and get upset?” Henrik asked.
“That's what I said,” Jackie complained.
“We will be taking the risk tonight,” Google said.
“It’s going to be awesome!” Marvin chimed.

Stan Uris x Reader Imagine Movie Night
Summary: The Losers go see a movie in the park together, and when they leave to get snacks Stan and Y/N get some alone time
Warnings: Mild Cussing??
You unclasped the window, sliding it up just enough so you could fit through. The cool air skimmed your face as you climbed onto the ledge. Quickly checking to make sure your bedroom door was still locked, you reached outside to grab the sturdy oak sapling that grew outside.
Once you were completely on the tree, you began to shimmy down it, placing your feet on the knots and stubby branches that you used often. You heard a car pull up on the gravel out front, and hopped down the remaining few feet, sticking the landing.
Rushing over to the light gray van that awaited you, you hurriedly swung open the door. Bill pulled away from the curb, and you fastened your seat belt.
“Alright, next stop is Mike and then the movies” Eddie instructed Bill, feeding him instructions from the passengers seat. Bill was the first of the Losers to get his drivers license, and as his parents already owned the van, they had allowed him to take it out so long as he didn’t wreck it.
You sat in the middle row of the van, next to Richie. In the back was Beverly, Stan, and Ben. Once you were settled, Beverly asked you a question.
“Why did you have to use the tree? Are you in trouble again?” She asked, and you turned, putting your elbows on the seat to rest your head. You angrily blew a few strands of hair from your face as the memory came back to you.
“It was Greta, that stupid bitch. Heard us talking about the barrens in the hallway, and told her. Mom hates the barrens, so I’m grounded for 2 fucking weeks” You rolled your eyes. Greta’s mother and your mother worked at the same restaurant, a small diner down the corner, and whenever she got the chance Greta would try and get you in trouble.
“Woah Y/N! Have I finally corrupted you?” Richie joked, pointing out the fact that you had cussed. The boy sat next to you, leaning against the side of the car.
“Okay, 1, Greta is the worst. 2, why are you next to me and not in the back?” you asked pointedly, and Richie brushed off the insult.
“Well apparently, I’m not allowed in the back anymore, according to darling Eddie and dearest Stan” he smirked. You glanced at the lanky boy in the backseat, who rolled his eyes.
“He wouldn’t stop waving to cars behind us, and pretending he was getting kidnapped. We got pulled over, twice. It nearly gave Eddie a heart attack” Stan said, and you laughed.
“Seriously?”
“Yeah. Ask Eddie or Bill”
You looked up front to see Eddie frantically yelling at Bill. “No no no, your other left! Jesus, how did you pass your fucking drivers test. STAY IN YOUR DAMN LANE, HOTSHOT”
You looked at Stan, who looked back trying to hold back laughter. “Or maybe don’t” he suggested, before you both burst into laughter. From the front seat Eddie whipped around, giving the group a beady stare.
“Y’know what, being up here is stressful, even if I’m not driving” he grumbled, and Richie opened his mouth to say something. “-NO Richie. I swear to fucking god, if you make one remark I will shove my foot so far up your ass, it will come out your mouth”
Richie mumbled something along the lines of ‘how bout you shove something else up my ass’, and a moment later Eddie’s inhaler was chucked across the car at him.
30 minutes and a very pissed off Eddie later, the group had picked up Mike and arrived at the park. As Beverly and Ben fed the parking meter silver coins, you went to the back of the van to help carry your stuff.
You reached for a large Picnic basket Mike had brought, but Stan plucked it out of your grasp. “I’ll take that. You can take something smaller” He said when you attempted to grab it back.
“I can manage it” you insisted, and Stan lifted the basket just above your reach.
“Just let me be nice” he said, and you grinned and shook your head, then reached for a chair and blanket to make up for it.
“You two are so obvious” Richie called from where he still sat inside the van, watching intently. You cast him a look.
“Shut up. Why are you still in there, get out and help?” you said, but a light blush dusted your cheeks, and you looked at Stan to see him with a look of idignation on his face, though he was also blushing.
A while later, everything was set up. People were arriving, and the large speakers blasted music. You were currently sitting on the blanket, listening to Mike as he told you about the chickens that had just hatched on the farm.
“Theres Marco, who’s a rooster, and Polo, Dart, Shelly and Sandy” He said, and you giggled at the names.
“Can you even tell them apart?” you questioned, and Mike laughed.
“Well, except for Marco, not really. But everyone can tell which one Polo is. He’s the favorite”
Soon the sun fully set, and the movie started. The large screen was an inflatable projector screen, just under 18 feet in length. All the nearby lamps that lit tthe paths had trash bags put over them to dim the light, and the movie theme began playing.
Most people had seen Jaws, but you hadn’t. The movie began with a girl and boy at a beach party, both clearly intoxicated. As the girl insisted they go swimming, the boy chased her along the sand to the water. The girl started stripping as she walked, getting ready to go into the water.
“Daaamn” Richie called, and at least 8 people shushed him.
Soon the movie began getting into the plotline everyone knew Jaws was about; shark attacks. You watched, completely enveloped in the movie, head resting on your hands. You were only vaguely aware of your friends, only because of the occasional gasp from Ben or the comments from Richie. However, your eyes were as large as moons as you watched.
The blanket was scrunched on the foor around you, and someone sat next to you. You turned, and saw Stan, laying on his back, hands behind his head. You raised an eyebrow questioningly.
“Everyone left to go get popcorn. That dude over there is selling” He said, motioned to where your friends were. They waited in the long line in the distance, and you could only see them from the dim light of the projector screen.
You turned back to Stan, you had closed his eyes. His curly hair was a fluffy halo around his head, and you couldn’t help looking at him for a moment before turning back to the screen.
“Watch the movie” you whispered, and he opened one beautirful eye to look at you.
“Nah. I’ve seen it 3 times already” he admitted, and you turned to him once more.
“Why are you here then?” you asked.
“So I could spend time with you” he said simply, and you opened your mouth.
“You see me every day, what do you mean” you responded dumbly, and he laughed. You were now giving him you full attention, sitting up.
“I mean...” the boy took a deep breath, and sat up. “I like you, Y/N”
No way. No fucking way. This boy, who you had liked for a while now, liked you back? What do you do now? What was supposed to happen?
“I-I like you too Stan” You stuttered, very aware of the blush creeping up your face. You sat in silence for a moment, looking up at Stan, at his eyes.
The golden brown specks, and the light brown at the iris that faded to dark chestnut. They pulled you in, and he stared back at you. You gaze flickered to his lips. You were no longer aware of anything going on in the move, all your attention on the boy in front of you. Your eyes fluttered.
He leaned in, and your lips met his. His arms grabbed your waist, pulling you closer. Your hands snaked around his neck. The kiss broke after a moment. You looked at Stan with a flushed face, and he was smiling.
“Ahh, Stan the Man! You finally got the girl” Richie’s voice said from behind you, and you mentally groaned. He had to show up now, didn’t he.
“Shut the fuck up Tozier, I’m trying to watch a movie and so is everyone else at this damn park” You hissed, and Richie let out a quiet laugh.
You leaned into Stan, and he wrapped and arm around you, and together you finished watching the movie.

Griz-Lei: A Fantasy Story Chapter 2:
Four hundred years have passed. The order has disappeared into legend and scorn, being unable to find what any looked for and failing in a way that makes the definition of the word falter in the actions of their fall. The bodies of the fallen sigils of the order were never found, and the names Gorm-Pa and Griz-Lei are fairy tales to the children of the world and a character in stories of many a fletching author. But still their failing has left an impact.
The town of Kumas, named after the legendary Bear god, still stands burned and reclaimed by nature. Trees sprout from chimneys and eternal magical fire blinks and flames upon many a post of wood. Stones are tossed haphazardly around the square, fountains destroyed and moss covered vending stands splintered. Trees cover the fallen town, reclaiming acre after acre of human touched land, their canopies creating a great shadow around the crushed city.
And the tower of the Order is gone.
Across the lands towns have gone and passed, going by many names and having many cultures. None staying long enough to hold the region under one rule, one flag. The current ruling power has neglected the decrepit ruins of Kumas, wary of the curses they may linger. But that does not prevent those from venturing in.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Teyet,” a young girl’s voice calls out,”do not stray so far! We have to come back to the camp!” Sticks and leaves crush as four feet run through the jungle, bushes shaking.
“Hah! Yetet, I have a burning curiosity,” a boy’s voice calls out, “ that cannot be satiated by sitting in a camp!” He leaps into the air, catching a branch and swings himself higher into the trees, swinging from vine to vine. His friend follows him on foot, screaming at him to come down.
“ I do not wish to come down! This is the first time we’ve been somewhere that wasn’t a desert or plain of some borish variety in soooooo long!” He falls from his vine and catches yet another branch, swinging in circles before flying off and landing square on his feet. Yetet catches up shortly after, slightly panting.”Teyet, i'm worried you’re going to get yourself hurt. You get hurt every time we go to a jungle.” “I find this completely untrue, remember when we went to the Pearl Forests? I didn’t even scrape a knee!” At saying this he leans upon a branch, looking smug.
“Yes, you did. A tree fell on you, and it was technically your fault because you were trying out your dad’s axe.”
“I don’t remember such an event,” he says while scratching his dark brown hair,” perhaps you’re making it up. Just to get at me.”
“It hit your head, so there's a good strong possibility you just don’t remember because you were concussed beyond all comprehension.”
“Well , even if such an event did happen, such a thing will not happen again. “ and in this exact minute, the branch he was laying on gave away as the tree fell over. However, the tree did not fall upon Teyet. No, It fell the other way, its roots upheaving and launching him in the air, deep into the forest he were not supposed to go into at all.
“Teyet!” screamed Yetet, running after him. A distant *THUNK* was heard, followed by many words that are not to mentioned in polite company or elders. Yetet raced through the forest, swinging on branches and hopping over fallen logs, following the sounds of her friend’s discomfort. When she finally reached him, he was on his back, his right leg bent in a way that should not be and probably is not natural for a normal person. Upon Yetet’s arrival, he turns and contorts his face into something trying to resemble a calm expression, yet it is very clear it is a facade.”W-well, I-i guess i do get h-hurt sometimes…” he managed to stutter out between the many curses.
“What did you even hit,” Yetet says while she bent down to examine her friend,”theres no trees around here, you hit like the only open clearing.” He looked around, making many pained expressions while doing so. Then he screamed really loud.”CCCHHEEEOUUCH!!! WHAT THE HELL YETET!?” “What? Im trying fix your leg.” “YOU….you...well thank you, however r-right now id rather not move it.” “And why is this? Don’t you want to get out of here?!” “No, not at all. I like laying here in the middle of the only clearing in this endless forest, somehow getting injured and unable to walk.” At the end of his sentence, he gave perhaps the deadest look one could have given a person at any point in all of history.
Yetet elbows him in his ribs.
“OUCH, jeez i get it ill stop. But i won’t move.” At this Yetet sighs and looks around, trying to find out where they were. And she noticed something. “Hey, did you notice that door thats over there by the side? Its huge!” Again, Teyet painfully moves hi body to meet his friend’s demands, cursing even more.”Yes, it is infact a huge door.” He gets elbowed once again, and a similar reply from the previous elbowing comes from him. “But its standing up! Its not fallen over or anything.” “Yes, this is an astute observation, yeyti.” She opens her mouth, but closes again, pausing.”What did you  just call me?” “Yeyti, your name has too much t’s in it ive decided now.”
“W-well your name doesn’t have enough T’s! Tey-t!” “Tey-t? That your best?” “Its not like Yeyti its any better , jackass.” ‘Language, there could be young forest animals near us.”
“You know what? Im gonna go check out that door, leave your crippled self out here.”
As she got up to walk to the door he called out, “Tell me of your great findings, O explorer of the lands.” He gave himself a little laugh after that. She turned around to face him, giving a little foot stomp.” Why are you so mean all of a sudden?! Did that tree knock the nice out of you?!”
“I AM UNABLE TO MOVE , FRIEND. IT HURTS, I’M A BIT ANGRY.” “No need to shout, sheesh….” she turned again and walked to the door. It stood without support, in the middle of the clearing. She even walked around to the other side to see if an invisible building was hiding, but was disapointed. This left her with only one option. She knocked.
“Why’d you knock?” “ To be polite, something you need to see and learn right now.” An audible groan was heard from the back.
No answer came, so she reached out for the door handle and turned it. And as she turned the handle, all around them the environment seems to fizzle into reality, revealing a crumbling 5 story tower of stone and floating islands. Moss hung from every stone hanging off of the tower. Small, everlasting ponds had small waterfalls pouring off of their sides, turning into mist. A large golden lettering arcs itself over the doorway now, glittering in the rays of sunlight.
“All Enter who Seek”, read off Yeyti, confused. She turns to talk to Tey-t, only to see him passed out. Perhaps from shock. But before she can do anything, the door swings open.
She peers inside to see what it was hiding and sees a great hall, far longer and taller than the tower would have it appear. All around on the floor there is broken glass, books far beyond reading and repair, a rather nice chair on its side, and a body. She walks further in, looking at the body on the floor. Its head is missing, the neck where it once was now decayed. The armor it wears is still polished and pristine, the sword by his side still sharp. She picks it up along with its sheath and continues down, the sword softly clinking on her back. She walks down the hallway, coming to a rotunda leading to doors larger than most men.
The rotunda had what once was a great fountain, it now lays cracked at one side. A skeleton rests in that crack, clutching a book and two glass bottles with flat orange liquid, staring at the entrance of the great hall. She reaches for them, as she and Tey-t were pretty thirsty. Atleast she was anyways. Around the fountain she can see that the great doors are all stone grey, one open but with sand pouring out of it. Yet, there is another door. One that is not greyed. She approaches it, and reaches for its great handle, but is stopped. Stopped by the room encompassing roar, a roar of a true predator. Of a creature full of pure anger. And in this roar can be heard two words.
GET OUT!”
She rushes away from the rotunda, running at her peak speed. The roading gets louder and louder and louder until the building shakes. Stone crumbs begin to fall from the ceiling and walls. Stained glass windows begins to shatter upon the great doors. She finally reaches the door to the clearing, and before she can even place the second foot out the doorframe it slams shut behind her, sending her flying out.
She lands , rather roughly, and just kinda lays there for a bit. She hurts quite a bit, from obvious reasons. She rather painfully gets up, her arms arching. She rubs the back of her head where the sword hilt hit her. She checks out the rest of her body, but notices something odd. She is wet from some sort of liquid, all along her arm and head. She glances down at the ground to see a broken glass bottle, now knowing where it came from. But she had two? Whre could the other have gone-
“OWWWW MY HEAD!” Comes a cry from Tey-t, hand clutching his face.”Theres this huge scar on my face oh why did this happen?!? And everything is wet i can’t see theres some sort of juice in my eyes of why is today so bad uggggh.” Yeyti rushed over, for many reasons. One to see if her friend was ok, the other to prevent more whining. But she fell once more, this time she could not get up. And she felt tired. So tired. She needed to sleep. And sleep she did.
