doing merch is already so exhausting in and of itself but getting laughed at by boomers when i dare ask for a tip is just salt in the wound SORRY i know we’re all sick of tipping culture but you don’t know the fucking work we do LOL

#status update #we had a 12 hour shift today literally peak summer heat. 90 degrees selling out of a TRAILER #we set up the display you see we count in every tshirt we sell by hand #we organize it to make everything as efficient as possible so YOU get through the line fast #and you laugh in my face because you can’t imagine tossing a fiver my way #you and your fucking $300 worth of rolling stones merch #if i had a nickel for every time someone told me they were watching me work and didn’t realize how hard it was i could be a homeowner #thankless job. i maintain this is a thankless job. many crew jobs in live music are but merch is certainly not exempt
