Summer - March Klance Prompts from MonthlyKlance - Day 24
Day 24 of March in May...yep...I will not give up!
Also this is some serious fluffy nonsense just so you know before you start :).  The paladins need a vacation :)
Day 24 – Summer
"Where did they even find those jackets?"  Keith asked bewildered.
"At the space mall."  Shiro answered in a similar state of disbelief.
"I fear we may have pushed them too hard."  Allura stuttered.
"It does seem some downtime might be in order."  Coran nodded flinching as Lance pulled out a blonde wig and put it on for the next "scene" in the musical the youngest paladins had decided to put on for their amusement.
"Lance isn't good as a blonde."  Keith commented.  "The poodle skirt fine, but the wig is just off."
"I'm not sure whatever it is that Pidge is wearing is much better.  How many socks did they stuff in her shirt?" Shiro blinked.
 "More than Lance's."  Keith answered.
"You'd think Hunk would have taken off the headband, it doesn't match his jacket at all."  Allura puzzled.
"I'm having trouble keeping track of which part they are playing at which time."  Shiro admitted.
"I'm pretty sure Pidge is Rizzo.  Lance is Sandy and Kenickie.  Hunk is Danny and Frenchie and maybe Marty.  I'm really unclear on the other parts.  I think they keep forgetting to change clothes."  Keith muttered, earning a surprised look from Shiro who didn't think he'd ever seen Grease before.
 ***
"Lance, does dance rather well though."  Coran pointed out as he was switching wigs between playing Sandy and Cha Cha.
The others hummed in agreement, trapped watching the youngest three sing and dance their hearts out.  To be honest for an impromptu musical with no instruments, sets, scripts from memory and a cast of three they were really doing a pretty good job.
 ***
"Are those real cars?  Pidge!" Shiro hollered over the revving engines, before Hunk and Pidge flew off down the hall in their race.
 Keith laughed.
 ***
"Is the message of this show that you should change yourself to match your friends?!"  Allura asked outraged.
Shiro and Keith were not capable of responding given Lance's appearance in the black leather outfit.
 ***
Coran had happily joined the end song and the four of them were giggling and singing about always being together.
Shiro, Allura, and Keith sat watching them dance away, clapping mechanically.
"So, vacation?"  Shiro asked still staring straight ahead.
 "Vacation."  Allura agreed.
"Leather."  Keith muttered watching Lance dance away.
 ***
 And so, a week later…
"I have an announcement."  Allura stood at the head of the table after dinner.  "As it turns out we have no scheduled missions for the next three days and we are near a resort planet that I used to visit as a child called Sabra."
 "What?"  Hunk blinked.
"I have arranged for us, barring any emergency of course, to have rooms at the very same resort I used to visit.  And no worries, Coran went and made the reservations himself to assure that it is still as nice as it was ten thousand years ago."  Allura smiled at them.
"Actually, it's nicer.  Apparently, it was rebuilt recently and is the best of the hotels on the shore." Coran assured.
 "Shore?"  Lance asked in awe.
"Yes, the resort sits on one of the planets many oceans.  Each has a different color.  This one is lavender and was always my favorite.  The entire planet survives on revenue from visiting tourists.  It is considered a non-conflict zone; no weapons are allowed on the planet.  Oh Coran, is the carnival still on the beach?"  Allura asked a childlike gleam in her eyes.
"Yes, indeed Princess, bigger and better than ever."
"A beach?  Ocean? Carnival?"  Lance's eyes blinked open and closed like a doll.
"I think you broke Lance," Pidge snarked.
"I am soooooo excited!"  Hunk grabbed Lance's arm which seemed to snap him out of his shock.  He in turn grabbed Hunk and they were soon screaming and jumping up and down.
"Oh, I need swim trunks?  Coran?" Lance stopped jumping and turned dramatically to Coran.
"No worries, there is an entire section of resort wear in the castle storage, you may come and choose what you like."  He answered with a dramatic twirl of his moustache.  "I will, of course, be able to provide guidance on what is really fashionable."
Lance jumped up and he and Coran were off and ranting about packing for the trip for everyone.
"Don't worry guys, I'll keep an eye on them."  Hunk offered with a wave and headed after them.
As it turns out someone should have had an eye on Allura as well.
"Exactly what is in here?"  Shiro asked exasperated as he lifted the universe's heaviest suitcase/trunk into the shuttle they were using.
"Industrial size hair dryer."  Pidge muttered trying to cram another of the princess’s cases into the back.
"A princess needs to be prepared for all circumstances."  Allura answered primly batting her eyes before laughing and helping pack another huge trunk into the shuttle.
"Is there a weight restriction?"  Hunk asked in awe.
"This is fine."  Coran nodded. "You should have seen her mother pack for vacation."  Coran shook his head then.  "We had to take three shuttles to fit the family and their luggage."
"Sounds fair."  Lance smiled at Allura.  His own trunk was much smaller, but still twice as large as any of the others. Lance had on a huge pair of blue sunglasses, a white button-down shirt and blue and red shorts that hit near his knee. He'd managed to find some kind of Altean sandals that were brown and wrapped around his feet and ankles.
"Shut up, tourist."  Pidge snarked.  She was wearing a green t-shirt and long khaki shorts and the Altean equivalent of flip flops.
"Be nice you two."  Hunk's own bright yellow tank, white shorts, and flip flops made them the post card for beach travelers.
"Are we ready?"  Coran laughed, his own blue and orange striped attire looked like a bathing suit from the 1800's or something.   He even had a blue hat to go with it.
 "Shotgun!"  Lance yelled.
 ***
 Two varga later…
They had parked the castle in an asteroid belt, hidden from sensors and well protected. The planet had assured them it would be safe to orbit, but they were unwilling to leave it unmanned like that and they had all deserved the vacation.  However, the three varga shuttle ride was turning out to be a little much for them all in a single shuttle, crammed into two rows of seats due to someone's excessive packing.
"I called shotgun.  It isn't fair."  Lance complained for the fifth time from the backseat where he was shoved between Keith and Hunk.  Pidge was sitting on Hunk's lap her legs stretched over the top of them.
"Sorry, Lance, the grown-ups got the front seat."  Allura echoed back, not sounding the least bit sorry.
"Like you are so much older!"  Lance huffed.
"At least 10,000 years."  Allura quipped.
"That does not count.  Keith, quit touching me!"  Lance elbowed his neighbor.
"Exactly how am I supposed to do that.  We are packed right against each other."  Keith growled elbowing back.
"Would you quit!  I'm already dying back here.  Shiro, are you sure you can't turn up the air?  I have a Pidge blanket."  Hunk whined.
"It's all the way up, Hunk, and we are freezing up here.  Coran matches his hat."  Shiro sighed.
Coran did look an interesting shade of blue just then.
Pidge shifted in her sleep tickling Lance's legs with her shorts.  He laughed loudly and jerked at the sensation, elbowing both Keith and Hunk in the process.  The other two boys snarled.  Hunk shoved Lance so hard he ran into Keith again.  Keith jabbed a sharp elbow into Lance's stomach making him pitch forward and sliding Pidge's legs into the back of the seat in front of them.
"STOP KICKING THE SEAT!"  Shiro was close to losing his shit.
"Ow."  Lance breathed giving dirty looks to both Hunk and Keith.
Pidge snored and rolled back over onto all of them.
Lance scooted back and spread his elbows and legs as wide as he could pushing against the other boys.
"Enough with the man spread, Lance."  Hunk griped shoving his leg over and leaning on him.
"I'm squished.  You guys keep pushing me around."  Lance growled.
"Then stay in the middle."  Keith stomped on his foot.
"OOW!"  Lance yelled and drove an elbow at Keith's middle, which he blocked and pinched Lance's arm.  "OWW! QUIT!  You guys are being jerks!"
"IF YOU DON'T QUIT FIGHTING BACK THERE I SWEAR I WILL PULL THIS DAMN THING OVER!" Shiro yelled from the front seat.
Keith, Hunk, and Lance all shared a look before they burst out laughing at him. Shiro groaned.
Pidge sat up and yawned, "Are we there yet?"
 ***
The resort and beach were everything that Allura had promised.  The resort hotel stood fifty stories high, reflective glass windows covered the building.  The pale purple water of the ocean washed onto the shore in waves that had Lance and Hunk yelling about surfing.  The white sands of the beach were pristine and stretched as far as they could see. When they landed the pod several different types of aliens all dressed in the same crisp white uniforms rushed out and began moving their luggage.  Allura said that they had condos reserved along the beach.  They were given three small vehicles that looked like hovering golf carts.  They received a map of the resort with locations and times for activities and a reminder that there was a feast planned in their honor for that evening.
Shiro loaded into one cart with Allura and Pidge.  Coran tried to take the wheel on the next, but Keith beat him, which prompted Lance to take the third wheel with Hunk at his side and challenge Keith to a race. Unfortunately, or fortunately as it may be, the carts were very slow, and the race was a pathetic tie.
Allura and Pidge took the first condo, Shiro and Keith the second.  That left Hunk, Coran and Lance in the third.
Lance walked in enjoying the beach themed decorations, of course it was all in purples and not blues, which he would have preferred, but they were soft colors with bright white accents and wave designs over everything, even some oddly square shells. He noticed two beds and a couch in the main area.
"I call the couch."  He announced making it sound like a preference, and not a preemptive move to avoid being stuck with it, as the youngest in a family of five this was not an unusual arrangement for him.  Hunk gave him a grateful smile aware of what he was doing.
"Oh, good choice."  Coran crowed. He pressed a button and the couch cushion lifted to float about five feet from the ground and fluffed out to look like a cloud bed.  "These are supposed to be wonderful to sleep on, though, I'll admit I don't relish the idea of floating in my sleep."
"It's great."  A huge grin split Lance's face and he rushed over to the other condo to tell Keith and Shiro about it.
  ***
At the banquet that evening, there was a huge bonfire and lots of food, dancing and music. Hunk said it was like a Luau. Lance said it was like a family beach party.  The others just thought it was fun.  There was some sort of beverage in a red coconut looking thing that Shiro objected to at first, but after a brief discussion with Allura he allowed.
Lance took a sip and smiled, "It tastes like a Pina Colada!"
"Why do you know what that tastes like?"  Keith frowned.
"My sister-in-law used to let me drink a little of hers, not a lot, just a taste." Lance sipped happily.  "This tastes almost exactly like the ones my brother would make."
Hunk sniffed and sipped tentatively, "It is good."
"Please don't get carried away, no more than three or make that two for you Pidge."  Shiro frowned unsure if this was the proper thing to do.
"Shiro, you are not my parent.  You are like an older brother.  Act like it, be a bad influence once in a while too."  Keith grinned as he sipped.
"Yeah, be the older frat brother that rolls you over, so you don't choke on your vomit after he gets you to drink way too much."  Lance offered.
Hunk, Pidge, Keith, and Shiro stared at him.
"What? Am I the only one that had a life?" Lance chugged the rest of his drink and smiled, "I'm dancing."  He rushed back out to where others were already dancing around the bonfire.
Hunk shrugged looking at the others, "He's not wrong, we are social rejects."
 "I wasn't."  Shiro objected quietly.
"Yes, but what are you now, Space Dad."  Pidge snarked.
Shiro glared at her, downed his drink, and laughed, "Dancing."  He walked away to join Lance, who looked surprised but happy to have Shiro grab him and spin him around.
 "Huh."  Keith offered.
"It does look like fun."  Hunk decided.
"Where are Allura and Coran?"  Pidge asked before spotting them lounging at the bar watching the two dancing paladins. Pidge waved them off and headed over to the Alteans.  She was not dancing.
"So, may I have this dance?"  Hunk asked offering Keith his hand.
"Why not?"  Keith smiled and they both finished their drinks before heading out to join the other two dancing.
 ***
Lance woke the next morning sleeping on a cloud.  He smiled and stretched.  He'd danced with everyone he thought, so many smiles and laughs and new dances and Pina Colodas.  He found himself grinning in realization that he had not gotten that drunk and did not have a head ache or naseau this morning, the alien booze must not have been very strong.
He lowered his bed back to the couch and slipped on a hoodie.  The morning was gray and looked chilly.  He didn't bother with shoes.  He went out to beach and walked along the edge of the water, watching the water come and go and walking in and out of it.  Leaving footprints in the white sand.  The colors were wrong, but it reminded him so strongly of home that he half expected his mama to call him to breakfast.  He closed his eyes thinking of the many mornings he had woke before everyone else and done just this, ever since he was deemed old enough to be trusted to stay out of the water when no one else was around.
"Lance?" Keith's voice was quiet, but Lance still jumped.
"You really want to give me a heart attack, don't you?" Lance shook his head, wiping tears on the sleeve of his hoodie.  Keith was dressed in workout clothes and had probably been running as he was sweating and panting a bit.
 "No. You okay?" Keith frowned.
"Yeah, just really reminds me of home.  It's good, but sad too."  Lance sighed. "I wonder when we will get to go home again or even if we ever will."
"We will."  Keith stated like it was a fact.
"You can't know that.  Zarkon has been in power for ten thousand years, do we really think we're going to beat him in a year or two and go home?"
"Sure, Voltron hasn't been around all that time.  We kick his ass and then go home."  Keith smiled slyly.
 "Sure." Lance shook his head.
"Seriously though, we have the weapon he has always feared and there has to be a reason. He knows we can beat him.  We will get back home.  It might take a while but we're going."  Keith put an arm around Lance.
"I like that you're sure."  Lance offered.  He wasn't quite convinced, but it helped that Keith seemed to be.
"Tell me something you used to do on the beach?  Something we could do today?" Keith pried.
"Well, sometimes in the summer we would have sandcastle building contests, Mami would judge them."  Lance smiled at the memory and the crazy things he and his siblings had created.
"We can do that."  Keith nodded. "I've never done that before."
"You've never built a sandcastle?" Lance asked shocked.
"Lance, this is the first time I've ever been to a beach like this."  Keith gestured to the horizon.  "It just keeps going.  It's amazing really."
Lance took several moments to recover, "Okay, so we are building sandcastles, then I'm teaching you to swim in a current like this, and then we are going to make some surfboards.  Oh, and we have to bury you in the sand."  Lance rattled off happily.
"Bury me?"  Keith raised his eyebrows and frowned.
"Don't look at me like that.  You cover up like half of the person with sand or maybe up to their neck, depending on what you are doing.  You can just make it look weird like a head in the sand, or make them look like something else, like a mermaid or something.  It feels cool and it's fun and you've never done it so you're trying it. Also, we have to hunt for seashells, do they have those here?  Well even if they don’t, we can still hunt for them and then we'll know."
Keith smiled in amusement as Lance continued rattling off important things to do as one by one the others joined them.  The sandcastle contest was something to behold.  Pidge had declared that picking teams sucked and had them draw straws. Team one was Keith, Pidge, and Hunk. Team two was Lance, Shiro, and Coran. Allura was the official judge, as obviously a princess knows a lot about castles according to Lance.
Team One's castle was huge, easily eight feet tall at the peak of the highest tower. It bore a striking resemblance to Cinderella's castle, though not enough to worry about a copyright.  Pidge had created a draw bridge that opened and closed and installed some kind of luminescent shells to the interior to give lighting.  Keith had gathered shells and layered them on the towers to act like tile roofs.  It was overall very striking.
Team Two's castle looked like a flying alien city.  It wasn't as tall only about six foot at the top of the central spire, but the towers were decorated with glass and there were spirals of glass in different colors that shot up throughout the castle.  Pidge argued it was cheating.  Lance argued it was just hot sand and why shouldn't they make it since they had Shiro on their team.
Allura declared it a tie over their bickering and told them to come to lunch.  She had a picnic delivered to the beach and they sat on blankets and ate something that looked like peanut butter and jelly - if the peanut butter was made with beans instead of peanuts and the jelly was bacon flavored.
After the meal they all laid out and took a nap.  It was crazy to relax like this and it had really been too long.  Pidge had started to creep away to a laptop, but Allura caught her by the wrist.
"Pidge, everything needs to recharge sometime, even you.  Give yourself this time and when you get back you will be more prepared and will work faster."  Allura begged.  "We can't work ourselves to death; there is no one to take our places."
Pidge paused pondering what Allura had said and then nodded, curling back up on the blanket and snuggling into Hunk's side.  Allura allowed herself to relax again.  This was something they all needed.
The swimming lessons commenced after.  Keith wasn't a bad swimmer and Lance only had to rescue him once before he listened to his fellow paladin about the dangers of the undertow.  Hunk splashed right along with them as did Allura.  Coran, Shiro, and Pidge stayed on the shoreline. Pidge said she was part robot and water was bad for her.  Shiro waved his own anchor of an arm as an excuse and Coran simply laughed and said they couldn't teach an old warbraxlian like himself any new things.    Lance was an amazing swimmer and Keith had a hard time keeping his eyes off of him.  He even challenged the princess to a race.  He lost, but he claimed her shifting into something with flippers was cheating anyway.
Keith was shocked at how exhausted he was when he came out of the water and how heavy his body felt.  Swimming in the ocean was really a lot more tiring than a pool, Lance had been right. Lance grabbed him a towel to lay down on and declared it was time to bury him, so he could take a nap.
When Keith woke to a mermaid tale and breasts he had to clamor out of the sand and chase Lance around the beach for a while until he caught him and dragged him back to the towel and declared it was his turn.  Lance complained he would have been fine with the mermaid body, but Keith gave him the body of a middle-aged man with a beer gut.  Pidge carefully documented both, though the boys were not yet aware of it.  They would be when she needed something.
They were making preparations for the evening meal when an alarm sounded on a device Allura was carrying.  She frowned and tapped at it, before sighing and turning to the others.
"I'm sorry everyone, but we will need to cut this short.  There has been a Galra fleet detected in the vicinity of an alliance planet.  We need to get there and be ready to defend them if needed."  Allura smiled sadly at the paladins, to their credit they all nodded without complaint.  She was proud of them.  "Let's have everything packed and be in the shuttle as quickly as possible.  I would like to wormhole out tonight."
The packing went smoothly.  They had all been aware that this was a possibility and had made accommodations to allow for quick pack ups.
Crowded back in the shuttle on the way to the castle, Lance leaned his head against Keith's shoulder, "How was your first beach trip?”
“It was good.”  Keith smiled softly.
“Sorry we didn't get to go surfing or hunt sea shells." Lance frowned
"It's okay."  Keith shrugged.  "There wasn't anything we could do."
"I know, but I guess we did a lot." Lance suddenly quirked a smile, “We can go surfing and hunt sea shells when we get home.”
"I would like that.  I could see myself living on a beach someday." Keith smiled over at Lance.
"Oh yeah, maybe we could be neighbors?"  Lance smiled thinking about his dreamhouse on the beach.
Keith hummed and turned so that his violet eyes were staring straight into Lance's ocean blues, "Maybe we could be closer than that."
"Oh yeah?"  Lance blinked and licked his lips, before grinning mischievously, "So roomies, huh?"  Hunk choked on laughter and Pidge swatted him in the back of the head, but Lance just laughed at the frustrated look on Keith's face, before leaning back against his shoulder and closing his eyes.
"I could find room for a mullet in my dream house."  Lance muttered as his breathing slowed and evened into sleep.
Keith smiled down at him and wondered what he was getting himself into.

Taking A Toddler To Orlando On A Budget
Tumblr media
When you hear Orlando you probably think of overcrowded theme parks and outrageous prices for everything, and while that's mostly true, there are still plenty of things you can do that are not overpriced. I travel with young children and have come across a few lesser known attractions that are perfect if you're taking a toddler to Orlando on a budget. Here are a few free and/or free things that you can do in Orlando without even stepping foot into Disney.
A lot of people don't often think about the natural beauty of Orlando. If you venture a little past the hustle and bustle of the big theme parks you will find loads of parks with lakes and hiking trails. There are also plenty of springs throughout Florida, too. If your kids are anything like mine they can probably spend hours just splashing around in a lake or river. If that's the case you can check out Three Sisters Springs located in Crystal River. During certain times of the year you will find it full of manatees. Or, if you have any little ones that like mermaids, maybe check out the Weeki Wachee Springs State Park for an activity they will be awed by. They have mermaid show and the water stays around 72 degrees all year. These are just a couple of suggestions if you and your family enjoy natural surroundings and tranquil areas full of fun water activities. There are plenty to choose from and most are free to get into or charge a low rate per car.
Tumblr media
Another great option is to take advantage of good old fashioned Window Shopping. When we go on vacation we do not get suckered into buying things we do not absolutely need. We set a limit and that's it, once it's spent, it's gone, so we're very careful with what we spend our money on. The kids, too. So, we do a lot of window shopping when we go on vacation. We check out the outlet malls, which are plentiful in Orlando, and just look around. The Florida Mall and the Premium Outlets are a couple of our favorites. We head into the toy shops and let the kids run around and play with the various toys or the novelty shops. This is a fantastic way to spend the day, and as long as we set expectations before we go in, the kids are well-behaved. We do allow them $5 each. This is also a great way to teach them how to manage their finances and really make them rethink their spending. You'd be surprised how much my 7 year old son has saved by now, by not buying what he wants, or settling for something cheaper, and saving some of his money.
Mini-golf is also a great activity for the family. There are tons of mini-golf course scattered throughout Orlando. They even have a glow in the dark one located in Festival Bay and ones where you can hold a live alligator. Some of these offer deals for families that allows for hours of fun. They have so many little statues and characters that go along with the theme that the kids will even want to take a bunch of photos while you're there. If you decide to check out the mini-golf around Orlando, check out the lobby of your hotel and you'll probably find coupons that'll save you even more.
Tumblr media
Now, the last thing I'd recommend, if you're really on a budget but still want to have a great time on vacation in Orlando with your toddler and kids, is to just stay in. Enjoy the hotel or resort you're staying at. Most of the properties in Orlando offer amazing amenities, especially for kids. You can expect video arcades, splash areas and waterslides, and I have even seen some resorts offer kid's clubs with arts and crafts activities. The latter one is usually offered with a small surcharge, but completely worth it if you're trying to squeeze in a smidgen of quality time with your spouse.
This is literally just the tip of the iceberg. As you can see there are plenty of things to do in Orlando, besides Disney, that'll still allow you to have a great time on vacation, even if you're traveling on a budget. Orlando is such an enriching place to travel to with so many options and things to do, it'd be impossible to list them all here. By taking just these few recommendations you're sure to have a great time a while saving beaucoup bucks.

After leaving this street you have to reach a pink blip. Go to the pink marker and stop your ride. And go to the ocean view hotel. After going into the ocean view, Tommy talks to Sonny on the phone. He tells him that it was not a deal, it was a conspiracy in which both of our teammates were killed. Sonny asks him about his money. Tommy tells the whole story. And says I will bring back drugs and money. After talking to Sony in Ocean View, the game can also be saved from the pink blip which right next to the table.
GTA VICE CITY T-SHIRT BLIP

Then Tommy reaches for another blip, which is a party blip on the plane. Tommy meets the underworld there. At the party, Tommy meets a girl who tells him about the people at the party. Then Tommy has to go to the next blip after the girl drops on the car on one blip, which is a capital L letter on the map.
GTA VICE CITY LABOUR KILLING
Tommy arrives at his friend’s office. He finds a man there who asks Tommy for help. Tommy changes clothes after finalizing the meeting and picks the guns. And he goes to the labor area. Some people are already there. You have to kill them during the game. And you have to quickly get out of there by riding on the arrow truck. So that the police do not fall behind. This truck has to be thrown into a nearby stream. And take your player to the calling area, where you have to call the day before the meeting in the friend’s office. After talking to her, Tommy reaches for a pink blip. There is a black car in which Tommy sits. And meets the same guy who happens to be with his friend in the office.
GTA VICE CITY GOLF STADIUM
The first suit to go to the golf stadium is worn. You must first change the suit by reaching the suit icon on the map. Then reach the Pink Blip and enter inside the golf stadium. To enter the golf stadium you must submit your weapon to the counter. Then you have to get on the golf cart and reach the place where the man is to be killed. After entering the golf stadium, the first golf carts to be parked there are to be thrown into the water. Then the guards who are standing there will have to be killed. Among them, there will be a man in a pink suit to kill him. They have to be killed with whatever weapon they have. As soon as he dies the mission will be complete. Then get out of there.
DEMOLITION MAN
Demolition Man who introduced by Tommy’s friend. Your player has to be taken to the Demolition Man again for a meeting. A capital letter A that appears on the map. You have to meet the demolition man to reach it.
TOP FUN & TRANSPORT BOMB
After meeting the demolition man, you have to go to the top fun truck. So you have to reach this truck with the help of a map and as soon as you sit in it you will find yourself inside a helicopter. Go to this building. And bombs have to be placed in 4 places. It takes only seven minutes to place these 4 bombs in this building while the bombs have to be placed there. There are several guards in this building. Either they are killed because they attack the helicopter with guns. If time is short to kill them then drop them and set 4 of 4 bombs. Once the four bombs are set, an explosion occurs that destroys the building. And the mission gets completed.
GONZALEZ KILLING
Take your player back to the same shipman. He gives a job. That is, he says to kill Gonzalez. And also gives Tommy a weapon. Reach the pink blip while driving. And there will be some guards. Gonzalez must kill after killing guards. Killing Gonzalez lets the police know. And the police start to search for your player. You have to repair your car to avoid the police. So reach Pink Blip and repair your car which costs $100. After refreshing the car, the police will not be able to find or arrest him. And thus the mission will also be complete.
GUIDANCE CHIP
Colonel gives Tommy another job. After leaving Colonel Pass, you have to go to a mall and meet the courier. And that means taking a bag. But the courier manages to escape from the mall there. in the game is to search the courier. And this is a chip in which he has to take the bag. Get the bag by hitting the courier while searching the courier. And increase your game dollars by completing missions as well.
ALL HANDS ON DOCK
When the player is taken to the colonel. So Colonel gives Tommy a weapon and so on. And gives a little detail. And some people come chasing in black suits, Whose job is to kill the colonel, and Tommy has to be killed. During the game, you have to kill all those who are attacking the ship. They come on peak ships. And attack the ship of Colonel. Helicopters also come to attack the ship. About which instruction comes already on the screen. All these helicopters must also be destroyed. Because they also a dangerous attack on the ship. Special care should be taken not to shoot at Colonol and not to kill Colonol’s guards who are helping to save Colonel. When everyone dies. And when the helicopters are destroyed, the ship leaves and then goes to the safe area. At the same time, the mission also becomes complete.
GTA VICE CITY MAP
Get a map view on the left corner of the screen. Which is where the whole guideline is to go. There are many missions to complete in the whole game. It also has to reach a lot of pink blips. So a lot of maps are needed for all of them. So the map helps a lot when and where to go. The capital letter of the blip that goes to the map helps to know which way to go. This way it is very easy to play the game using the map. There are many roads in black color on the map from which the routes are visible. There is nothing special about looking at the map, but it helps a lot. When Tommy reaches the blip, the map becomes hidden. When Tommy returns to the game after completing his meeting, the map reappears. And again Tommy embarks on his next mission.

Paris: The City of Lights
Tumblr media
“We’ve exited the Palace of Versailles, we cannot go back in for macarons from Ladurée, Aanya :(”
“Arre, what’s the big deal, I’ll go get them, don’t worry”
“But there’s a really long queue to enter again, even with our passes.”
“Watch me!”
I managed to wiggle through by convincing a member of security at one of the restaurants in Versailles and we got our macarons. There were a lot of failed attempts before that though– my okay French got me decently far; I also picked up some stray members of our group on the way!
 Trip length: 10 days
 General Tips:
·      Be polite: Though the stereotypical Parisians are said to be rude, they are often very polite – so don’t forget your thank you (merci), please (s’il vous plâit), excuse me (pardon/ excusez-moi s’il vous plâit)
·      Watch out for scams and pickpockets: This might seem obvious, but it is a good idea to look up and beware of the scams and where they are most prevalent. As for pickpockets, make sure never to leave your items unattended, avoid putting valuables in your back pockets, make sure the zipper of your tote bag is in front, and if you have something particularly valuable that is large, maybe cover it with a scarf inside the bag.
·      Dress smart casual: Everyone in Paris is well-dressed. You might feel very touristy and out-of-place in jeans and a tee-shirt, so dress up a bit, but still make sure to be comfortable because you will walk around quite a bit!
·      Don’t take taxis, take the trains/metros instead: Paris and its suburbs are so well networked, and traveling by public transport is much cheaper than taking the taxis, and it gives you a true feel of Paris! Beware of pickpockets though!
·      Be centrally located: Walking around Paris is the best way to experience it
·      Try an apartment instead of a hotel for potential better rates (AirBnB)
·      Carry your own water bottles to avoid paying for expensive water – there are often water fountains, especially near public washrooms
Top 10 Places to Click Instagram Worthy Shots
1.     Trocadéro: Best photos against the Eiffel Tower
2.     In front of Sacré-Cœur (against the panorama)
3.     The Louvre: Click inside the Pyramid
4.     Arc de Triomphe
5.     Ladurée (or any macaron shop)
6.     The bridges on the Seine (especially Pont Alexandre III)
7.     Les Quais Along the river Seine
8.     Latin Quarter
9.     Notre Dame
10.  Inside a narrow street
Honestly, everything in Paris is Instagrammable
 Paris
Places to Visit and Things to Do:
As clichéd as these suggestions might seem, do read them, as you will see certain tips and tricks that will make your trip!
·      The Eiffel Tower: Go up, right to the top, and click lots of pictures. With the help of a map, try and identify all that you can see from the top. From the first floor, there’s also a zip line that you can take across.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
·      Arc De Triomphe: Located on Champs-Élysées, this is one famous monument. But what most people miss (including me) is going up top. It is said that you get one of the best views of Paris, and of course the Eiffel Tower, from there.
Tumblr media
·      Sacré-Cœur: This serendipitous church is an absolute stunner, inside out. Its walls echo the sounds of silence despite the sheer number of people inside, lending peace to the ambiance, while the external façade is an architectural marvel. And as soon as you turn your back to the church, you face a beautiful panorama of Paris – do not miss this! The sunset here is really very beautiful!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
·      Montmartre: The little locality at the base of Sacré-Cœur, one must spend some time here – there are quaint shops, street artists and caricaturists, and cute cafés.
·      Notre Dame: The hype about the stainless glass windows? Yeah, it’s not a hype. An art lover's dream come true – the sheer grandeur of the structure will bring you to your knees in awe (the insides are closed now for renovation due to the fire)
Tumblr media
·      Louvre (and its gardens): Everyone knows about the Mona Lisa, but what else is interesting in the Louvre? (Especially if you’re not really an art person and would like to be in an out in an hour or two, here’s a list of the stuff you should still see)
o   Level -1: Chevaux de Marly (Massive horse sculptures)
o   Level 0: Vénus de Milo
o   Level 1: Apartments of Napoleon, French paintings, Mona Lisa, The Scribe, Greek sculptures
Tumblr media
·      Cruise along the Seine: It speaks for itself – you cannot miss this!
·      Cycle through Paris: Best. Experience. Ever! It’s been 5+ years since I cycled in the night through Paris – one of the best ways to see the city, especially if you have a short timeframe
Tumblr media
·      Versailles: Honestly, though the palace is beautiful, for me, the gardens stole the show. They’re absolutely beautiful, and the perfect place for a picnic (and even a date!). There’s a little lake as well, where you can paddle-boat, which is a lot of fun! The gardens are quite expansive, so you may want to rent a golf cart, though I don’t recommend it.
Tumblr media
·      Champs-Élysées and Place de la Concorde: My first stop during my first trip to Paris, I recommend starting at Place de la Concorde and walking down Champs-Élysées toward Arc de Triomphe. Even if shopping at Champs-Élysées is out of your budget, it’s still worth a visit!
·      Museé de l’orangerie: Monet’s water lilies. That was my favorite part of this museum. They also have some shifting exhibitions that are fairly fascinating.
·      Panthéon and Sorbonne area (Latin Quarter): I’ve missed going here in both my short trips to Paris, but I’ve heard that it’s a truly wonderful area to immerse yourself in the culture
 Places to Shop
Shops Local (or Local-ish) to Paris
·      Galérie-Lafayettes
·      Printemps
·      Le Bon Marché
·      Camiou
·      Flying Tiger Copenhagen
·      Fnac

·      Souvenir shops near Notre Dame (bargain here!)
·      Street vendors along the Seine (bargain here too!)
·      Rue du Rivoli
·      Rue du Commerce
·      Boulevard St-Germain
·      La Defense (this is a really huge mall)
 The Standard Shops, Must-Go-In-Europe
·      H&M
·      Topshop
·      ASOS (online only)
·      Urban Outfitters

·      Angelina: Hot chocolate dreams
·      Ladurée: Macarons
·      Streetside Crepes
·      Local boulangeries and patisseries
·      Le Pain Quotidien: This was sentimental for me as LPQ has shut down in most of Mumbai
Foods to Eat (Select personal favorites, otherwise this post would never end)
·      Crêpes
·      Éclairs
·      Baguette
·      Pain au chocolat
·      Croissants
·      Croque Monsieur
·      Cheese (as many as you can try – it’s normal if you don’t like all of them)
·      Hot chocolate
·      Gélato
·      Profiteroles
·      Onion soup
·      Éscargot (I never thought I’d eat this, and funny enough, I loved it!)
 Maisons-Laffitte
Maisons-Laffitte is a quaint little neighborhood on the outskirts of Paris, about an hour away by train. It is perfect for a day trip with a picnic, relaxed vibe.
Places to Visit
·      Château de Maisons-Laffitte: A baroque architectural beauty, this castle adds beauty and more character to the suburb. Its 1600s architecture creates a feeling of stepping back in time.
·      Parks and gardens (any and all): Maisons-Laffitte is full of quintessential picnic spots, and you’ll often even find the stereotyped French person eating a bit of a plain baguette from the whole
·      Hippodrome: Known as the horse-riding city, one must see the gorgeous stadium, and if you’re lucky enough to be there during the farmer’s/local market, shop to your heart’s desire!
 Places to Shop
·      Fellini: This boutique has shoes and clothes that are reasonably priced and extremely cute!
·      Casino Supermarché: Though this might seem odd, this supermarket (this chain of supermarkets) has this an organic version of Nutella (no palm oil), called ‘noisette,’ and it’s absolutely delectable
 Places to Eat
·      La Pâtisserie de Longeueil: French Pastry. Need I say more? (Éclairs are my whole entire life<3)
·      La Bonne Humeur: Crêpes, and more crêpes, and some more crêpes
·      Le Ballon Voyageur: Semi-formal dining, but delicious European food

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is a great place to visit if you are looking for multiple vacations in one! You can visit the beach in the morning and then head out to all of the attractions in the afternoon. There are so many fun and exciting things to do in Myrtle Beach, SC. You’ll find amusement parks, beaches, state parks, golf courses and more!
Myrtle Beach does a great job of keeping the historic Myrtle Beach feel to it. It isn’t over run with chain stores or hotels, but instead has a really local vibe to it and can feel like you are stepping back in time!
Map
Here is a map of the overall area along with hotels:
Click here for an interactive map.
Attractions
Ripley’s Aquarium Of Myrtle Beach
The aquarium is on the smaller size, but it is well worth a visit. The Shark tunnel is amazing!! You walk through a tunnel with sharks swimming over you and next to you. It is a little scary, but also really, really cool. We went through it multiple times.
They also have a touch tank which are kids always enjoy along with a variety of other hands on activities that the kids could do.
The rest of the aquarium has a variety of different fish to look at and a huge tank filled with hundreds of fish to just stare at. One of our favorite places was the sting ray tank. We could have sat for hours and just watched them swim around.
The last thing we did was feed the manta rays. You pay a couple dollars and get a few pieces of fish that you can feed the manta rays with on a stick in you put into the tank.
If you take your time walking around and really taking everything in you can spend a good 2 hours here exploring.
Ripley’s Believe It Not
The name says it all. You will be amazed and shocked by what you find in Ripley’s Believe It Or Not. Lots of hands on things to do and interesting things to look at. It will be an interesting day when you explore this odditorium.
Legends In Concert
An amazing show where you can see imitations of some of the best in the music industry. The show is very upbeat and entertaining and would work out well for kids too.
Hollywood Wax
Are you or your kids into celebrities? Then the Hollywood Wax museum should be on your list! Take your pictures with all sorts of “celebrities”.
Buy the combo ticket and you can head over to the Mirror Maze and interactive Zombie apocalypse challenge located in the same building.
Sky Wheel
Take a ferris wheel ride and look out over Myrtle Beach and the ocean inside your own private gondola reaching up to 20 stories high. If you want to upgrade your seat you can even get a gondola with a glass-bottom floor and leather seats.
WonderWorks
When you look at this building from the outside you are not sure what to expect . . .then you go inside and WOW! There are so many cool things to do and a lot of things you wouldn’t even think of. It is an indoor amusement park with hands on exhibits.
They have a ropes course, an entire floor dedicated to sports, thrilling rides (our kids were too short), a TON of hands on things. We really didn’t know what to expect and thought this might just be a quick walkthrough, but we were wrong.
They have a bubble area where you can make HUGE bubbles. A giant Wonder Brite wall, a bed of nails you lay on, a celebrity look alike machine. And all sorts of optical illusion things to try.
If you visit Myrtle Beach when it is cooler out or raining, this is the place to be. Or if you are looking to get out of the heat of summer, head to WonderWorks and spend the day playing!
Myrtle Waves Water Park
Head to the water park to cool off and enjoy the beautiful weather. This is the largest waterpark in South Carolina and has 22 water slides! Plus a wave pool and lazy river. A water park in the summer is a great family activity.
Family Kingdom Amusement Park
A beach front amusement park that has more than 38 thrilling rides including roller coasters. With rides that are good for younger kids and older kids. Plus entertainment and arcade games.
Splashes Oceanfront Water Park
If it is a hot day in the Myrtle Beach area then head out to a water park. Splashes is located right across the street from the Family Kingdom Amusement Park with views of the beach. It has water slides and a lazy river. Your kids will thank you for taking them here!
Map Of Attractions:

Jet Skiing
Have a need for speed?! Rent Jet Ski’s by the hour for 1-8 hours of fun. If you have kids with you then have them ride on a Jet Ski with you. They have 3 person jet ski’s available for rent.
Dolphin Cruise
Looking to get out on the water and see some dolphins?! Myrtle Beach has you covered with a variety of different Dolphin Cruise options:
Sea Thunder Dolphin Cruise – take a speedboat out to find Dolphins! They are so sure you will see dolphins that if you don’t, they give you a free ride in the future to try again.
Dolphin Adventure Cruise – Get on a 90 foot boat that takes you out to find dolphins and more. You will follow a fishing boat that helps to attract dolphins and even sharks, so be on the look out.
  Parasailing
Parasailing is such a fun way to get up high out over the water and take in the views all around you. 3 people can go up at a time, which is perfect if you have younger kids that have never done it before. But note you must be 42 inches to participate.
Pontoon Boat Rental
Want to spend the day on the water? A Pontoon boat is the perfect option. We love taking a boat out with our family to check out the area from the water. Pack a cooler and have a picnic lunch while you hang out in the Pontoon. Then anchor it and enjoy jumping from the boat and going for a swim.
Broadway at the Beach
If you are looking for somewhere to walk around and do some shopping and restaurant hopping, this is the place for you. Broadway at the Beach has a variety of restaurants from the Hard Rock to Margaritaville to Joe’s Crab Shake and Paula Deen’s.
When you are here be sure to stop at River Street Sweets for a FREE Praline sample – yummy!
Broadway at the Beach is also where you are going to find a lot of the attractions in Myrtle Beach that we listed above. It really is a one stop shop for tons of fun while you are here.
Barefoot Landing
A waterfront mall with shops, restaurants, entertainment and attractions. It is located in the North Myrtle Beach area.
Looking for more attraction ideas Ranger Led Program
Check the schedule at the State Park to see if they have any Ranger Led Programs going on. We visited the Bee class to learn about the local honey bees and it was super interesting and well run.
Nature Center and Activity Center
Part of the state park where you can come to learn more about the area. The buildings are not always open so be sure to ask when you come into the park or check online to see when they are open.
Myrtle Beach State Park
You have to set at least one day aside to just hang out at the beach! The Myrtle Beach State Park is a great place to hang out at the beach. They also have a nice pier that you can walk out onto or fish from.
The beach is part of the Grand Strand – which is a large stretch of beach on the east coast that runs uninterrupted for more than 60 miles.
Murrells Inlet
If you are ready to get away from all the craziness of amusement parks and attractions in Myrtle Beach then Murrells Inlet is the place to go. There is a half-mile-long Marsh Walk and places to watch the fishing boats come in.
This area was once the lair of the pirate Blackbeard! And there are pirate-theme boat tours available that bring this history and adventure to life.
2nd Avenue Pier
A historic Pier in Myrtle Beach that has been a centerpiece of historic downtown Myrtle beach since the 1930’s. You can fish from the pier or eat at the Pier House and enjoy the views.

River City Cafe
A great restaurant to go to with kids. The prices are right and the atmosphere is super laid back with peanuts to snack on while you wait and fun bright colors and decorations everywhere.
Campgrounds
Myrtle Beach State Park
We stayed at the beautiful Myrtle Beach State Park campground. It was well treed and there were sites that had a lot of room around them. There are plenty of sites with water and electric as well as several with full hookups. They also have a very well stocked convenience store/gift shop.
Pirate Land Family Camping Resort

10 of the Best Spring Getaways on the East Coast
Miami
Lifeguard tower on the beach in Miami/Oyster
It might sound like a no-brainer, but Miami is queen when it comes to East Coast spring getaways. A spring break hub, the city has way more to see and do than just chugging tropical drinks on Ocean Drive (though, a night of that is always fun, too). These days, Miami’s grown-up side makes it an equally awesome spring getaway for families, couples, and singles who aren’t just fresh out of college. We love the slightly more refined hotel-and-pool scene along Collins Avenue north of Lincoln Road in South Beach. But you should also make time to head inland. Wynwood — a prime street-art destination where you can book tours — is Miami’s Brooklyn and is flush with cafes and galleries. Looking for a little bit of culture? Little Havana is the beating heart of Miami’s Cuban community and is definitely worth a visit.
Our Miami Hotel Pick: The Setai Miami Beach
View of South Beach from The Setai Miami Beach/Oyster
Looking for a taste of the finer side of Miami? The Setai is definitely for you. This stunning beach resort features an amazing spa, fitness center, and free yoga on the beach, making this the kind of place where indulging doesn’t just mean amazing food and cocktails.

Savannah, Georgia
The dreamy Savannah Historic District/Oyster
With mild to warm weather, Spanish moss hanging everywhere, and tons of history, Savannah makes an awesome spring getaway. Timing your visit before summer hits means you’ll get to enjoy the city before it withers under Georgia’s heat and humidity. You won’t be alone, though — spring marks one of Savannah’s peak seasons. Why is that? The flowers blooming across the city give it an even more magical atmosphere and there’s a lot to do. Savannah’s cultural calendar comes to life in the spring, with events that include the Savannah Music Festival plus numerous music and dance performances. Feel like partying? Savannah’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade is legendary as well.
Our Savannah Hotel Pick: Mansion on Forsyth Park, Autograph Collection
The iconic red-brick facade of the Mansino on Forsyth Park in Savannah, Georgia/Oyster
It’s not right in the middle of the city’s tourist scene but that’s the point. That location helps make the Mansion on Forsyth Park is arguably one of the coolest hotels in town. Expect an amazing art collection, a great cooking school, and a well-liked restaurant all on-site.

Charleston, South Carolina
The beach outside of Charleston, South Carolina/Oyster
A bit farther up the East Coast than Savannah, Charleston is equally as packed with tradition and history, all wrapped in an impossibly pretty package that’s been charming visitors for a long time. And like much of the southern U.S., mid to late spring can be beach season here. While the water will be chilly, daytime temperatures often merit showing a little skin and soaking up the sun. That weather also makes strolling the charming Charleston Historic District all the more pleasant. You’ll find the Magnolia Plantation and Gardens blooming, as well as many of the city’s historic private gardens. The late spring also brings the Piccolo Spoleto art festival, which takes place over the course of a few weeks starting in late May.
Our Charleston Hotel Pick: Market Pavilion Hotel
A suite at the Market Pavilion Hotel in Charleston, South Carolina/Oyster
If you’re hoping to be right in the heart of the Charleston Historic District, it’s hard to top the Market Pavilion Hotel’s location — as the name suggests — near City Market. The hotel itself is rich with history and has preserved its Old World style through and through.

Asheville and the Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina
The Biltmore Estate outside of Asheville, North Carolina/Oyster
Springtime in Asheville and the nearby Blue Ridge Mountains is all about the outdoors. While the countryside here is most celebrated during the fall, you shouldn’t skip the spring months. Wildflowers are in abundance at this time of year, and the milder weather only adds to the magic. There are too many hikes to count in this region (check out Hickory Nut Gorge for starters), and the bright flowers of the wild rhododendron are everywhere during the later months of the season. Elsewhere, the gardens of the Biltmore Estate will be in early bloom as will the North Carolina Arboretum. Asheville itself is a great place to spend your day before and after you explore the great outdoors. Expect plenty of microbreweries, cafes, and excellent restaurants.
Our Asheville Hotel Pick: Grand Bohemian Hotel Asheville, Autograph Collection
The Deluxe King Room at the Grand Bohemian Asheville/Oyster
Only a five-minute drive from downtown Asheville and right in the Biltmore Village, this charming hotel has its own atmosphere that’s worth a stay. Expect perks like live music, a spa, and an art gallery, as well as a prime location near the Biltmore Estate and plenty of trailheads.

Berkshires, Massachusetts
Quaint scenes like this are all over the Berkshires/Oyster
This laid-back mountain region is wonderful to explore in the spring — you’ll just need to be prepared for an array of weather. If you head to the Berkshires in March, slopes like Ski Butternut and the Catamount Mountain Resort will be open, as snow is can be in abundance due to chilly temperatures. But if you visit later in the season, consider hiking parts of the Appalachian trail, fly fishing, or bird watching. If the outdoors isn’t quite your thing, the region has great spas, yoga studios, and an amazing art museum — Mass MoCA, which is in North Adams. Towns like Stockbridge and Lenox both have enough to keep visitors busy, from antiquing to cafe-hopping.
Where to Stay: The Red Lion Inn
The Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, Massachusetts/Oyster
This inn is a classic Berkshires hot spot, and it has everything you’d need to find peace and adventure. With incredible food, a pool, and fun bars on site, you don’t even need to hit the trails to have fun.

Newport, Rhode Island
The coast and harbor of Newport, Rhode Island/Oyster
Newport, Rhode Island, is a quaint town with plenty of nautical fun. But what makes it so special are the small businesses and artistic culture that’s celebrated year-round. The seaside municipality is also well known for its historical preservation. In the spring, visitors can stroll through town and marvel at the opulent mansions that have made Newport famous, or explore Fort Adams State Park and its 19th-century fort. It might not be beach weather yet, but visitors can still enjoy the stunning Cliff Walk along the coast.
Where to Stay: Jail House Inn
The Jail House Inn in Newport, Rhode Island/Oyster
Just like its name suggests, this quaint Rhode Island inn used to be a jailhouse. But you’d never be able to tell. It’s within walking distance from the heart of the town and there’s a free breakfast in the morning.

Washington D.C.
The White House lit up at night in Washington, D.C.
Around the world, spring heralds cherry blossom season. And while Japan is the most famous destination for taking in this stunning scene, the U.S. capital puts on a pretty amazing show when it comes to cherry blossoms. The tradition dates back to the early 20th century, when Tokyo gifted Washington D.C. with its first cherry trees. The official festivities generally take place in early April, and include the National Cherry Blossom Festival. Blooms can start in late March, though, so check ahead if you’re bent on visiting during peak bloom.
Our Washington, D.C. Hotel Pick: Mandarin Oriental, Washington D.C.
The Mandarin Suite at the Mandarin Oriental, Washington D.C./Oyster
The Mandarin Oriental chain is easily one of our favorite luxury hotel brands, and what better way to spend your cherry blossom weekend in D.C. than living it up in style. You’ll find everything from an excellent spa and fine dining to a great indoor pool. It’s only a 15-minute walk from the National Mall and sits along the beautiful Tidal Basin.

Hilton Head Island, Georgia
Kayaking the lagoon near Hilton Head, Georgia/Oyster
Off the coast of Savannah, Georgia, Hilton Head Island might be small, but it has many attractions. Year after year it’s been voted one of the best places in the country for families to vacation together, as it has a lot to offer for people of all ages. Expect gorgeous beaches, sprawling golf courses, and lots of adorable ice cream parlors in town. Note that average high temperature in March is the upper 60s, but by May it’s the low 80s, which is certainly beach weather.
Our Hilton Head Hotel Pick: Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort
The Studio at Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort/Oyster
Bright and contemporary, this beachfront resort is a solid pick if you’re visiting in the later spring months, when temperatures are high and the ocean is calling. You can expect balconies in all rooms as well as kitchenettes.

Catskills, New York
Street scene and antique shops in Phoenicia, New York/Oyster
The Catskills region in upstate New York is quickly becoming a rival to the Hudson Valley when it comes to cute towns and great atmosphere. Enjoy gorgeous hiking trails if it’s warm (May average highs are in the 60s) and epic ski trails if the cold is still hanging around (March average highs are in the 40s). Towns like Woodstock and New Paltz make for great daytime walkabouts — and have their own cool cafe-and-bar scene. Of course, antiquing is high on the list if you’re exploring the Catskills, and the region has it’s own must-visit local institutions, including the famous Phoenicia Diner. Even without foliage, Catskills hikes are stunning and come with amazing views. Check out Gertrude’s Nose in the Minnewaska State Preserve or the Fire Tower Hike in Woodstock (Overlook Mountain) if you’re after amazing scenery.
Where to Stay: The Roxbury
The Roxbury hotel is an attraction all on its own. It has a luxurious spa, and the decor is unlike anything else in the area. Each room embodies a different theme, ranging from The Noir Boudoir to the Angel Hair Room (dedicated to Farrah Fawcett) to The Archaeologist’s Digs.

Manchester, Vermont
Early spring snow is common in Manchester, Vermont/Oyster
Manchester is a popular getaway in southern Vermont, tucked up high in the Green Mountains. Spring temperatures come late here, so this is a great destination for travelers looking to hit the slopes or explore the charming towns of Vermont when there’s still a chill in the air (apple cider, anyone?). The town of Manchester itself has great cafes, bars, and outlet shopping, while the mountains offer endless possibilities. March into April is still a great time to ski, and both Bromley Mountain and Stratton — one of the largest ski resorts in the northeast — are 15 and 45 minutes away by car, respectively.
Where to Stay: The Equinox

20 Cool Things To Do in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
Puerto Vallarta is a destination that has been welcoming travellers for many years, and it’s one of our favourite places to visit in Mexico. Whether you’re a backpacker on a budget, a digital nomad looking to spend a month, a couple wanting a week-long vacation, or an expat looking to settle down, you’ll find things to do in Puerto Vallarta to keep you busy.
The city is split up into neighbourhoods (zones), with the endless things to do in Puerto Vallarta spread out along Banderas Bay and beyond. In reality, it doesn’t really matter which part of the city you stay in, as getting around is easy.
You will, however, want to choose your zone carefully based on the vibe you’re after and the budget you have.
Here’s a quick rundown of the zones in Puerto Vallarta starting at the airport and going south:
Marina – more upscale than the hotel zone, with the Marriott Hotel, Westin & more.
Hotel Zone – just a few mins drive from the airport, this area has many hotels, restaurants, malls, a Walmart & Sams Club.
Centro (Old PV) – smaller homes, residential area, the Malecon (oceanfront promenade) runs along here, many restaurants and bars. This area is on the north side of the River Cuale and offers affordable accommodation.
Centro (Romantic Zone) – located on the south side of the River Cuale, you’ll find numerous bars, cafes, restaurants and Playa Los Muertos Beach. This is a popular area with a large gay community. The accommodation ranges from budget to top end.
Conchas Chinas – meaning “Chinese Shells” based on the seashells found here, this is a more affluent/posh area of Puerto Vallarta with gated communities and high-end condos.
Learn more about where to stay in Puerto Vallarta with our accommodation and neighbourhood guide. And, for a complete rundown on travelling to the city of PV, check out our detailed guide here.
Now that you have an idea of what each neighbourhood has to offer, here is my list of 20 cool things to do in Puerto Vallarta!
Note, this post has been updated 2020 to include the latest best things to do in Puerto Vallarta, the current prices and addresses and more. Enjoy your trip.
1. Walk…Everywhere!
I have to put walking as #1 on the list of things to do in Puerto Vallarta. Exploring on foot is the best way to get a feel for the city, and most areas of PV are reachable by walking.
Walking the streets of Puerto Vallarta is the best way to see it all
This is a great way to see what the vendors are selling, to people watch and to get a lay of the land. You never know what you’ll stumble across when discovering the city on foot…just make sure to wear good shoes as the sidewalks and roads are very uneven.
2. Join a Food Tour
Did you know that Mexico’s cuisine has made the list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO? This award hasn’t been granted to any other national food group! Mexican food is so much more than tacos and quesadillas and the best way to learn more about the tasty foods is to join a tour.
We’ve done food tours all around the world, and our favourite ones are in Mexico. In Puerto Vallarta, check out Vallarta Food Tours. This company offers a mix of culture, walking and food tours, making it a great way to learn about the city of PV while simultaneously feasting and working off the calories.
Visiting the taco stands is a highlight of a food tour in Puerto Vallarta!
There are a few foodie tours on offer with Vallarta Food Tours, but we went on the “Original Downtown Tour”, which took us through the center of PV on both sides of the river. We ate numerous dishes and tried some drinks as well. You can also join their evening taco tour.
We highly recommend this tour if you’re a foodie! Click here to learn more and check out the video we made:
youtube
3. See Rhythms Of The Night (one of the best things to do in Puerto Vallarta!)
If you’re looking for a mini Cirque de Soleil cultural show/dinner/theatre experience, then Rhythms of The Night will be something you want to check out. We saw this performance and although we’re not big fans of large group tours, this show was spectacular and worth every penny. This is one of the top tours in Puerto Vallarta.
The evening starts with a sunset cruise (including open bar) across Banderas Bay to Las Caletas, which is a beautiful private cove. When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by a beautifully lit area with tiki torches and candles.
You’ll then be shown to your seat in the outdoor auditorium, which is surrounded by palm trees. The seats are all staggered, so even though there are people sitting in front of you, you’ll have no issues seeing the show.
Watching Rhythms of The Night – we don’t usually love touristy shows, but this one was great!
The show depicts various stories of the ancient Hispanic civilization and Mexican folklore. During the performance, there’s live music, dancing, contortionists, fire-twirlers and more. Following the show, you’ll enjoy a large buffet dinner before returning to Puerto Vallarta by boat. Don’t miss this show! ☞ Click here to learn more about the tour and to book tickets.

4. Watch Sunset
There’s just something about the sunsets on the Pacific Coast, and in particular, Puerto Vallarta. Some of the best sunsets we’ve ever seen have been from here. Grab a drink and enjoy the show.
Great viewing places include anywhere along the Malecon, up the hill behind the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, or from El Barracuda which is our favourite beach bar. Once the sun goes down, the party starts in PV — there are so many bars and clubs, the nightlife in Puerto Vallarta is legendary!
The sunsets in Puerto Vallarta are spectacular
*Note: Puerto Escondido is another epic Pacific Coast destination for sunsets in Mexico. If you have a chance, try to visit there as well!
5. Relax on Playa las Gemelas
Surprisingly, just about 20 minutes drive south of Puerto Vallarta, you’ll find beaches that look like they should be Cancun or Playa del Carmen rather than the Pacific.
Playa las Gemelas has turquoise water and whitish sand. When we visited, there were quite a few waves, but no riptides or undertow and the waves were fun to swim in. Other visitors have experienced completely calm water here, so it really just depends on the weather and the time of year.
There are just 2 condominium complexes on the beach and nothing else…not even any toilets. Bring a cooler filled with beer, water and snacks and spend the day. The walk to the beach is fairly steep and down some uneven steps, but it’s worth it when you see the view.
To reach here, you’ll want to park at Condominios Girasol Sur (in front along the road). There is no actual parking for the beach, so you’ll need to find some on the street, or in the few roadside spots in front of Girasol Sur Condos. Alternatively, you can take a local bus and get dropped off here.
This is by far our favourite beach in Puerto Vallarta. Don’t miss it! Click here for directions.
Hiking down the steps to Playa las Gemelas
6. Join a Booze Tour (with a side of food)
For those of you who like to drink tequila – it’s Mexico, who doesn’t?! – this tour is for you. During our recent trip to Puerto Vallarta, we joined the Mex-ology tour and enjoyed a late afternoon of Mezcal, Tequila, Raicilla, craft beer, Kahlua coffee and other handcrafted cocktails.
To go along with the booze, you’ll get some tasty food to help soak up the alcohol. The dishes we had were full portions of fish tacos, meat tacos, seafood “enchiladas”, onion rings, crickets (yes, crickets!) and delectable dessert. Not only will you be having fun, and feeling a bit tipsy by the end of it, but you’ll learn a lot about the traditions and creation of these alcoholic beverages.
Tasting Mezcal, with a side of crickets on our food & booze tour
We had a great day with our guide. So much fun in fact, that she took us out for some late-night shenanigans where the expats and locals like to hangout! Click here to learn more about the Mex-ology Tequila, Tacos & Cocktails Tour.
7. Eat Fresh Oysters
While there’s definitely a Puerto Vallarta restaurant for everyone, sometimes it’s nice to eat street (beach) food. If you’re an oyster lover, you’ll be happy to know that you can get fresh oysters on the beach.
Just under the bridge that crosses the River Cuale, you’ll see many vendors selling these tasty morsels. Plastic tables and chairs are set up so you can sit and enjoy your plate of food by the water, or you can take them to go. Squeeze some lime juice on, sprinkle with some salt and add some hot sauce if you like. Enjoy!
☞ SEE ALSO: Playa del Carmen Mexico: The Ultimate Travel Guide
8. San Pancho
About an hour drive from Puerto Vallarta is the beach town of San Pancho (San Francisco). This small town isn’t as quiet as it once was, but it’s still a nice place to visit. What’s surprising is that even though it’s not a very big place, there are lots of things to do in San Pancho.
You can go golfing for the morning (or late afternoon), eat some really good international food, take Spanish lessons, do yoga, go surfing, watch the baby turtles be released and more. It’s a cool place to spend the afternoon as it’s just an hour away from Puerto Vallarta.
To get from Puerto Vallarta to San Pancho, you can rent a car, take the bus for around 50 pesos, or join a day tour of San Pancho and nearby Sayulita.
Note: the ocean here is quite rough and isn’t a great place for swimming. You could check out Bucerias for swimming.
The lovely golf course in San Pancho
9. Walk The Malecon
One of the many great things about Puerto Vallarta is the long Malecon (oceanfront promenade) which runs for about 1.5 kilometers (1 mile). This is the perfect spot to enjoy a stroll, without having to deal with the crazy traffic that whizzes along the narrow streets.
Along the Malecon you have the beautiful ocean on one side, and many shops, restaurants and bars on the other (selling $1 margaritas and Coronas!). There are also numerous art installations and street performances here.
The Malecon is the hot-spot, especially in the late afternoon and evenings when it’s a cooler temperature. And actually, wandering along the Malecon is one of the most popular things to do in La Paz as well.
The Malecon always has something going on
Where to Stay in Puerto Vallarta

10. Join a Chocolate Making Class
The Choco Museum is one of the many free things to do in Puerto Vallarta. If you’re interested in learning the history behind cocoa, plus finding out how chocolate is made (from harvest to production), then the museum is for you.
If you want to get your hands dirty, and EAT some delicious chocolate, then make sure to join one of the (paid) classes at the Choco Museo. Learn how to make traditional mole sauce, hot chocolate truffles or individual chocolates. Click here to learn more about workshops and classes.

11. Mountain Biking Trip
Although lounging by the beach and devouring tacos is always a good idea when travelling to Mexico, it might be a good idea to get some exercise every once in a while!
Eco Ride is an eco-conscious company in Puerto Vallarta that offers mountain biking and hiking trips in the surrounding jungle trails of the Occidental Sierra Madre. If you’re into adventure and being active, this is one of the things to do in Puerto Vallarta that you won’t want to miss.
They have biking tours for beginners and advanced riders, plus they offer different length trips as well — from 15 to 48 kilometers (9.3 – 30 miles). The routes pass through villages, waterfalls, rivers, pine trees and more. Click here to learn more about Eco Ride and the biking and hiking trips they offer.
*Note: if you’d rather combine exercise with eating, Vallarta Food Tours has a new tour called Bikes & Bites…check it out!
Not into biking, but still want to be in the mountains?
Although we’ve never done this in Mexico, zip-lining through the beautiful canopy is one of the most popular things to do in Puerto Vallarta. You’ll be at the foothills of the Sierra Madre Mountains and can travel through the jungle over 2 miles (3.2kms) of zipline. The tour is run by Los Veranos Canopy Tour, which has a 5-star rating and over 2,500 reviews on TripAdvisor. Click here to learn more and book this tour. Update 2020: we’ve been informed that there is an “animal sanctuary” visited on this trip, which sounds more like caged animals, and we don’t condone this. For a more ethical ziplining experience complete with ATV’ing, click here for a fun tour with Estigo Tours (which has more than 1,000 reviews on TripAdvisor). And, if you find yourself in the Yucatan, ziplining is one of the best things to do in Cancun as well.
12. Chill Out on Los Muertos Beach
This is the beach south of the Los Muertos Pier. And, as with the stretch of sand north of the pier, there are a lot of activities going on — from swimming and surfing, to parasailing and boating. Plus, you’ll find numerous beach restaurants and bars here.
There are vendors wandering up and down the beach as well, but they aren’t too pushy. Near the south side of the pier, you’ll find lots of local families spending the day (especially on weekends), while further south from there is considered the gay area, which is always busy and a lot of fun.
When we visited Los Muertos Beach in December, the waves were incredibly big and the surf and undertow were unbelievably strong. The rough water started from the pier and went north to the La Langosta Loca restaurant. However, on the south side of the pier, the water was calm and children were swimming. Be mindful of the ocean and when in doubt, always ask a local if it’s safe to swim.

13. Wander The Old Town
Puerto Vallarta has a beautiful old town with cobbled streets and colourful homes climbing up the hill. From near the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, you’ll see rock/cement steps heading up the hill. Take the steps and continue walking along the back roads towards the Romantic Zone. As most people take the Malecon or the main streets, you’ll have the quiet “upper” roads basically to yourself!
We recommend walking around the quieter streets behind the Romantic Zone!
You’ll come across homes draped in vines, cats sleeping on steps and pretty wrought-iron balconies. After you’ve finished exploring and enjoying the peace and quiet, you can come out near the Rio River.
For an amazing view, you can hike up to the Mirador Cerro de La Cruz. It takes about 30 minutes and is a bit strenuous, but the view is spectacular. Bring lots of water and wear good shoes.
14. Go Scuba Diving
Getting on the water is always a good idea when travelling, but so is getting under it! Whether you’re scuba certified or not, check out Banderas Scuba Republic. This company is PADI recognized and the team is PADI certified.
At this scuba shop, you can take classes and lessons to get your certification, or if you already have your Open Water, you can go for some dives. Expect to see turtles, rays, eels and more. Banderas Scuba Republic is located in the Romantic Zone, stop by and check them out.
Note: We did not personally dive with Banderas Scuba Republic, they were just highly reviewed on TripAdvisor. Always do your own independent research when choosing a scuba diving company.
15. Join a Free Walking Tour
Walking on your own is great, but if you want to learn a bit more about the city of Puerto Vallarta, including its culture, history and architecture, then it’s best to join a walking tour with a knowledgeable guide. This is the best thing to do in Puerto Vallarta on your first day in the city so you can get your bearings.
Every Tuesday (9:00am and noon), Wednesday (9:00am and noon) and Saturday (9:00am), there are free tours put on by the Municipal Tourism Office. The meeting point is at the Municipal Tourism Office, which is in the Old City Hall Building. The tour is about 2 hours long and no reservation is required. Click here for details.

16. Join the Free Art Walk
Puerto Vallarta has the most art galleries of any Mexican coastal city. On Wednesday evenings, many of the art shops open their doors and allow visitors inside to view the pieces. All mediums of art are on display, including paintings, sculptures, pottery and folk art. A visit here is definitely one of the best things to do in Puerto Vallarta for art lovers.
Entrance is free, there is no guide, but there is usually wine and tequila given to visitors…for free. The “art walk” runs from the end of October to the end of May, from 6:00pm to 10:00pm, every Wednesday. This is a yearly event. Click here to learn more about the Art Walk.
17. Visit the Church Of Our Lady Of Guadalupe
You can’t miss the Church Of Our Lady Of Guadalupe when you visit, literally. Towering over the center of Puerto Vallarta is this beautiful piece of architecture. If you’re wondering what to do in Puerto Vallarta when it’s raining, a trip to this church is a good idea.
Whether you’re religious or not, I recommend taking a peek inside, and of course, taking loads of photos of the ornate exterior. This church is one of the best places to visit in Puerto Vallarta.
If you find yourself in the city from December 1 – 12, you’ll be able to enjoy the celebrations for the Our Lady of Guadalupe Festival, which includes candlelight processions, colourful parades, and of course, food.
18. Visit Mismaloya
Located on the southern part of Banderas Bay, you’ll find the fishing village of Mismaloya. This is where tourism in the Puerto Vallarta area all started, back in 1963 with the filming of Night Of The Iguana. This is what kicked off tourism in the area.
These days, Puerto Vallarta has more tourism, while the bay at Mismaloya is still relatively quiet. The pretty bay is backed by thick jungle, there are restaurants lining the beach and you’ll have views of the Los Arcos Marine Park. There is, however, the Barcelo Resort which takes up much of the bay, but it’s still a nice place to visit.

19. Check Out The Markets
Visiting the markets in Mexico is always a treat. In Puerto Vallarta, you’ll find food, fish, clothing and trinket markets. Don’t miss the Municipal Market of Colonia Emiliano Zapata, which is a great place to purchase fresh produce. This market runs from 6:00am to 3:00pm, 365 days a year. Click here for directions.
Also, if you want produce and fish, check out the Municipal Market in December 5. Go early to get the best selection of seafood. In the strip of vendors, you’ll find meats, vegetables, tortillas and other items. This is a great place to take food away, or to create a delicious lunch! Visiting a local market is one of the best things to do in Puerto Vallarta. Click here for directions.
20. Do Some Hiking
If you want to do some independent hiking, you won’t really find it in the city itself. But, if you take a bus, or drive your car out to Boca de Tomatlan, you can do a really great day hike to Las Animas. The path winds along the ocean, with the jungle on one side and the beautiful water on the other.
You’ll hike along stone stairs and narrow paths, while arriving at lovely secluded bays along the way. If you’re lucky, you’ll spot some whales or dolphins playing in the water.
The entire hike takes about 2 hours to complete, and once you arrive at Las Animas, all that’s left to do is enjoy the beach, and one of the many restaurants on offer. To get back to Boca, you can take a boat from Las Animas, or hike back the way you came. For more information on how to do this hike, click here.
Bonus! 21. Enjoy a Night On The Town
The Puerto Vallarta nightlife is awesome! No matter what sort of a party you’re looking for, you’ll find it in PV. From beach bars and nightclubs to cantinas and breweries, a night out in Puerto Vallarta is sure to be memorable. While most of the happenin’ nightlife is around the Romantic Zone, you’ll find bars across the city.
Dance the night away at Co-De or one of the many popular Malecon nightclubs (Zoo, Mandala or La Vaquita) or watch your favourite sports team on the big screen at places like El Torito Sports Bar & BBQ House, Players and El Soñador.
For live music, you can’t go wrong with Incanto, Roxy Rock House and La Casa de Hugo. If it’s craft beer you seek, you have a couple of options in Puerto Vallarta. Don’t miss Monzon and Los Muertos. For cocktail lovers, check out El Colibri, Bar La Playa and Twisted Palms.
To learn more about the best places to sip and dance, check out our post: Puerto Vallarta Nightlife – The Best Places to Drink and Dance.
Enjoy The Things To Do in Puerto Vallarta!
I hope this list of 20 things to do in Puerto Vallarta helps you plan your trip. While the city is quite touristy, it’s popular for good reason and we really enjoy our visits here. Make sure to sample the tasty street food whenever you can, explore the local markets and enjoy walking around the city. Let us know what you would add to this list in the comments below!
