#irt blackbird#i mean canonically he did... but hmm#i know im biased but idk to me theyve always been all or nothing when it comes to names#referring to each other like strangers/acquaintances or lovers not inbetween#i mean he was being pretty friendly and personal there so ig it makes sense but IDK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#wataru: eichi-kun <3 also wataru: hey wtf dont talk to me like we're friends#i mean 'eichi-kun' is endearing and also ALSO!! its what tsumugi called him......#but in my heart idt wataru wanted to give him the satisfaction of referring to him by his name#and 'emperor' is his passive aggressive way of mocking him and also establishing their new roles#theres more to it imo but im shutting up now#this is just another discrepancy between my universe and gilles's universe so there's no use questioning it#his talons are in everything...#but fr 'wataru calls him eichi-kun because that's what tsumugi called him' is the most satisfying conclusion i can come to
