Exciting things coming to paperzest origami once I get a number of materials together to post online...yay!!!!

Sneak peek at the newest fold in the apparently ongoing origami Kakyoin journey.

Hoping to share lots of photos including some process stuff plus general crease pattern

And I still have to finish at least 2 other folds I started earlier oops...this was totally an impulsive project in which the inspiration struck me and I had to put all other projects aside to start creating him...again...yeah

#excited to post later when I can #Origami Noriaki Kakyoin has taken me all week to fold #I started with one wrinkly and uneven square of paper #but fortunately the boxpleating was forgiving #was sorta afraid the initially wrinkly piece of paper would bring an early end to the project and I'd have to prepare another sheet #but it didn't and it worked out! Yay!!!!!!#honestly pretty happy with this silly guy for now #noriaki kakyoin #his hair curl is on the less usual side due to a design oversight involving the color change #Many of the old origami kakyoins really really do not meet my standard now. But I think this is closest to my vision so far
