Seriously though I get the feeling cw is going to be interfering a LOT so Danny can keep destressing without being pressured into being good so I’m imagining the following:

Eventually everyone gives up on adopting him and Danny chills a bit. He still does whatever and is batshit, but a lot of the time he sets off a “murderbot” that he built to be the local hero’s perfect sparring partner and went to get a nice cup of tea. He’s just… chilling. He’s happy with his camomile-dandelion green tea with honey and lemon & vanilla extract.

The heroes slowly chill out too, and now they can just send someone to let Danny know they actually have a thing going on so they need to do this another time (which is disappointing, but Danny just goes and bothers a different hero)

Clockwork is pretty careful about dropping Danny in when there isn’t a chance of an invasion or anything that would make Danny feel he HAS to be a hero

Danny has a particularly rough month in Amity, and when he shows up again, he goes BATSHIT

This man threw his whole self into creating a robot army and uses all the data collected from the sparring-bots to make them unbeatable before launching a whole-ass invasion

The JL find his HQ and they just find a tired, stressed out, about-to-have-a-meltdown/shutdown teenager who is trying to drown himself in work

Everyone is about to pull a Batman when cw forces them onto the watchtower

When they get back, Danny’s gone, and they’ve had enough

So… they try to find the kid

Like, actually try this time. Sure, they were trying before, but now the JL is pulling in EVERY favor, putting in ALL their free time.

There is something Not Right if that kid is using murderbots to de-stress

Their search efforts double when they finally crack the robots’ codes and see that they all had super specific instructions and that they weren’t allowed to hurt anyone but heroes, and no fatal injuries were allowed.

Literally. Every bot had a first aid kit and would have taken a hero straight to the hospital

This kid was stressed out of his mind and didn’t even do much real damage

So the JL are high key obsessed with finding him

Danny comes back to chill again (this time also a takeover, but he’s drinking some earl grey in the hand of an absolutely GIANT robot) and one of the League manages to tag him with a tracker

Unfortunately for CW, Dr Fate is outside the time stream and went and made it a magical tracker, too

So when Danny is pulled back into the IR, the JL knows

So the JL manage to follow Danny through (despite CW’s best efforts) and they eventually find the Fenton’s portal

They walk through, and they are immediately greeted with an exhausted Danny getting yelled at by his parents for not changing the filter on the portal

The JL: 🧍🧍🧍🧍🧍🧍🧍

JL: how advanced is this universe that changing the filter on a portal is a chore????

They manage to sneak out without being seen (somehow— I blame J’onn) and quickly find out that no… no… changing the filter should Not have been Danny’s responsibility

“…Well at least we know where he got the genes from… OW WHY’D YOU HIT ME—”

The JL is trying to stay on the DL and they’re doing a pretty decent job, all considered.

…Then they see their first ghost fight

“IS THAT A CHILD?!??!”

“DEAR HERA THOSE ADULTS ARE FIRING ON HIM—”

“JESUS MARY’N’JOSEPH AREN’T THOSE DANNY’S PARENTS???? ARE THEY THREATENING TO RIP THAT BOY APART???? OHMYGOD MY EARS AREN’T DECEIVING ME THEY ARE—”

“…That kid looks a lot like Danny.”

“…”

“…oh my god”

“Oh my god he does—”

“Our lil’ mad scientist is a superhero—”

Clockwork sees how stressed Danny is from trying to be the goodest boy and never do anything remotely bad that could turn him evil and thinks he may have overdone it. At this rate his panic over never doing anything evil is going to force him to emotionally burn out and stop caring. Then he'll turn evil anyway.

So Clocky does something that sounds completely ridiculous in theory. He scoops Danny up and drops him into a universe full of superheros and villains and tells him to "Do whatever you want. There will be no consequences for you." Then he leaves.

And just like that, Danny goes apeshit. He decides to do the one thing he always wanted to do but was too afraid to because he didn't want to be judged, or worse, forced to join his parents.

He becomes a supervillian. Not as Phantom, no. But as Fenton! He goes full super genius mad scientist and terrorizes whatever city he's in. The local superhero is being driven insane as Danny builds death rays, shrink rays, his own modified version of the GAV, ect.

The best part if that the local heros can never catch him for long and when he is caught he always escapes before he is transported to whatever facility they wanted him in. He always ends up back in his home dimension where he goes back to acting normal and no one from either human dimension or the Infinite Realms knows what he's up to (except the stop watch of course)

After a particularly fun day in which Danny highjacks all broadcasting services to teach everyone in the world how to make insulin at home so you didn't have to pay a ridiculous amount for necessary medication, the Justice League was now on his tail.

Danny just laughs, thinking there's no way they'd ever be able to arrest him. Little does he know some guy calling himself Batman is leading the mission and he has no intention of arresting him. Danny, much to his horror, becomes far to familiar with adoption papers. As in he keeps having to set them on fire.
