american clothing sizes are out of control the words mean literally nothing and even things like "30x30" which you would think would maintain a certain consistency across brands since ostensibly those are the measurements of the pants are also actually just some kind of joke manufacturers like to play on anyone wearing clothes. fuck you if you want clothes that fit

#just had a bad scrubs shopping experience at walmart #“you need to get scrubs” i was told “it looks more professional” ok i got scrubs and they look like pajamas because theyre huge #typically i'm a women's size large in leggings and shirts (g cups ☹️) or 30 or 32x30 (but if i buy jeans of one of these sizes without #trying them on they will inevitably be too small/big and i should have gotten the other size) anyway i got size (supposedly) medium pants #and large shirt and they're HUGE and i know i'm short but theyre WAY too long #the pants go up to my ribcage and theyre still two inches too long 😭 these are scrubs for SLENDERMAN?#but i feel like other things at walmart run really small? idk i have basically only bought one other item of clothing (strong word) from #walmart because well it's evil and i prefer thrifting and it was a (clearance) shirt that was supposedly a large but was so small and #the cut was spectacularly unflattering so i think i wore it like twice before getting rid of it idk maybe it was for kids and i didnt see #usually i shop in the men's section which is a little less like this i don't know why i didn't today #anyway i might actually return this shirt because it's so large as to be in the way #and as i said i have g cups (or thereabouts idk i only wear sports bras) this is not because i'm skinny lmao. yes my back hurts #me
