but back in the day we were Discord Howling At The Moon and we LIKED IT

I love all the high quality animatics and whatnot people make for their fandom song videos now, but apparently I'm nostalgic for the old (Homestuck) days of lyric comics going straight from tumblr posts to youtube. Art size clearly not formatted for the screen, sometimes carefully edited so the lyrics pop up as they're sung, sometimes distractingly zooming into the artwork. Nothing hits like that.
