Until age 5, Becca grew up with her parents in Denver, Colorado. The evening of May 23rd however, a tragic car accident robs the five-year-old of her parents leaving her hospitalized and orphaned. Once out the young brunette was quickly ushered into the care of an immediate family member.

After being taken in and raised by her aunt Cindy and uncle Randy, Becca continues to lead a somewhat normal existence, even striving for a degree in zoology. Developing a close bond with her older cousin Cara and her best friend Emma Hill, the trio grew up practically inseparable. However, Becca's life took a turn for the worse when she entered into a damaging relationship with a man named Eric. This relationship persisted throughout her time in high school, gradually deteriorating due to his volatile temper and abusive behavior towards her. The situation between them escalated when she started investigating Eric's mysterious disappearances during the nights he claimed to be "hunting". Matters reached a boiling point when, at the age of twenty-one, Becca engaged in a particularly brutal fight with Eric, resulting in her seeking refuge with her cousin Cara. Fed up with the situation, Becca made the decision to end her relationship with Eric. Unfortunately, Eric did not take this news well. Reacting with anger upon hearing her desire to break up, he violently attacked her. This confrontation ultimately led to their separation, with Eric promising that he would come back for her, but in a completely different guise.

The brunette needed two years to recover from her toxic relationship with Eric. She worked hard during this time by attending college and earning her master's degree in Zoology. She also took the time to rediscover herself. While in college, she met a young woman named Mayleen Wilson and they quickly formed a strong bond, becoming close friends. Sadly, her time in college was cut short by a tragic accident involving her uncle, which required her to return home.

Following the untimely and devastating demise of her uncle, Becca's life once more descended into disarray. Struck in the torso by a workhorse, Randy suffered a heart attack, succumbing to his injuries shortly after arriving at the hospital. It wouldn't be long before misfortune struck again. The stress caused by the disappearance of Emma Hill compelled Rebecca to urgently seek answers and search for her closest companion. Approaching her elder cousin Cara, Becca persuades her to accompany her to New York, where Emma's trail led them to Cold Spring.

During this time, Eric persistently pursues her and unexpectedly crosses paths with her once more, determined to fulfill his threat to her. This encounter left the brunette grappling with a challenge unlike any she had encountered before. Employing his claws and teeth, the Lycan sank his teeth into her body before she successfully managed to evade the canine. After successfully fleeing, Rebecca searches for her cousin and is promptly taken to the hospital. There, medical professionals attend to the several bites on her arms and numerous scratches on her abdomen. Following her discharge, the brunette isolates herself in her room for multiple hours, experiencing symptoms resembling influenza, until she ultimately undergoes the transformation into a Lycan. Noticing the abrupt disturbance, Cara checks her younger cousin, and their ensuing interaction leads to Rebecca biting Cara, condemning her to the life of a Lycan as well.

Shortly thereafter, Rebecca and Cara are able to locate Emma and the three have a tearful reunion. Upon reuniting with their childhood friend, Rebecca shared the details of her and Cara's current predicament, how Eric was the one behind it, and that he was still out there. It was during this conversation that Rebecca discovered the reason behind Emma's abrupt absence and how she had become involved in the Lycan world as well. After realizing the importance of staying together and finding a secure place to reside, the three individuals had a discussion to consider their options. Ultimately, they agreed to contact Becca's acquaintance May, who promptly extended an invitation for them to stay with her in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas. Once settled, the group get to know each other and their situation better through conversation. During their discussion, the girls revealed that they had become werewolves and Mayleen shared her own connection to the supernatural. The witch suggested that she could help hide them and advised them to lay low for the time being. However, over the following weeks, Becca received news from a pair of hunters who happened to be close friends of May's, that Eric had arrived in town.

Becca expresses her concerns about Eric to the rest of the group and proposes that they take the initiative to attack him first upon learning of his return. However, the group becomes anxious and advises her that they may not be adequately prepared for a confrontation and that she herself might not have full control over her abilities. Despite these warnings, Becca disregards them. Seeking assistance from the two hunters, she implores them to join her in confronting Eric at an abandoned warehouse on the town's outskirts. During the confrontation, Eric manipulates Rebecca's thoughts by revealing why he had done everything he had to her, telling her she was nothing more than a pawn in his revenge plan towards her aunt, causing her to become angry and disoriented. This leads her to undergo a transformation into a wolf and turn against the two hunters who were assisting her, ultimately resulting in their deaths. In a final act, Becca manages to injure Eric before he successfully escapes, leaving Rebecca to revert to her human form and face the consequences of the chaos she had caused. May receives the devastating news of their friends' demise from Rebecca, burdened with shame, guilt, and deep remorse. The witch refrains from holding Rebecca accountable for the tragic sequence of events, yet their relationship becomes strained. Despite the absence of blame, Rebecca finds it impossible to absolve herself, pledging that she will never repeat her errors and that their deaths will serve a purpose. Committed to rectifying the harm inflicted, Rebecca, Cara, Emma, and May seek out a sibling duo of werewolves (named Stratus and Gordon) who impart the knowledge of voluntary transformation, rather than solely relying on the full moon. The ordeal proves arduous for Rebecca, Cara, and Emma. She now travels on her own from one safe house to another, searching for any clue that could lead her to Eric's whereabouts. Her determination to put an end to his reign of terror over her and her loved ones growing stronger and stronger. Along with her desire to redeem herself, she faces many more challenges accompanied by an uncertain future.

Becca is an avid reader who enjoys spending time in nature and with animals. She also has a talent for drawing and singing. Swimming is another skill she possesses, and she loves to travel whenever she can. In her spare time, she tries her hand at gardening, though she often struggles to get started. While initially awkward, this witch is goofy, caring, generous, and a bit of a wise-ass. She's always looking out for the well-being of those around her and is often referred to as the "caregiver". She has a tendency to prioritize others over herself, often neglecting to ask for anything in return. May has a kind and even-tempered personality, but if you mess with her loved ones, you'll regret it. She has a fascination with dangerous creatures and anything that's venomous, poisonous, or toxic. She may not be quick to anger, but she tends to get even. As a result, she's earned the nickname "Lady Poison" and has a temper just as venomous as the creatures she admires.

Although Mayleen grew up in a typical household where her parents taught her witchcraft, it soon became apparent to her that she did not possess the innate abilities of most witches. It was because of this that she would frequently cast spells incorrectly. Despite her efforts to improve her magical skills and spells, she also struggled to form friendships or join covens, so she practiced alone.

May practiced spells for five years, before one day she got a spell horribly wrong. This turned out to be a curse, which she ended up inflicting on herself. When people were kind to her, she was unable to refuse requests for assistance, to not give herself a second thought, and to refrain from discussing it with anyone. By the time the witch realized she was cursed, the damage was done and the curse was far too powerful for her to reverse herself.

At the age of twenty-one, Mayleen enrolled in university where she encountered Rebecca Byrd, one of her initial and closest companions. The duo remained inseparable throughout their college years, only parting ways when Rebecca received devastating information about her uncle. Nevertheless, they managed to stay in touch. Shortly after graduating, May discovers a cozy residence in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas, where she establishes a floral boutique and renews her practice of magic and incantations. During this period, she happens to form a handful of allies and numerous adversaries as a result of her aforementioned allies as well as her curse. As a result, she acquires multiple hidden shelters in order to conceal her exact whereabouts.

Following a year of residing in her residence, she receives a phone call from her closest companion who enlightens her about their desperate predicament. Without any hesitation, she extends an offer to provide them with shelter by allowing them to stay with her for safety. Upon their arrival, May encounters Cara and Emma, where she becomes aware of the metamorphosis undergone by the girls and discloses her own identity as a witch to them. Two weeks after the wolves make their presence known, May introduces Rebecca to a duo of inexperienced hunters, who are subsequently enlisted and slain during a confrontation with Eric Burnhart, Becca's former partner and the individual accountable for altering her friend's existence. Grief-stricken by the news of her friend's tragic demise, the witch refrained from accusing Rebecca, although she maintained a certain degree of distance for the time being as she required time to mourn. As the witch mourned, she and Rebecca had a conversation where she insisted that she and Rebecca were okay and that she shouldn't blame herself too harshly because she was a newborn wolf. Since they were hunters, they knew the risks involved in joining a new wolf on a hunt, but together they would find a way to stop Eric.

Upon gaining information about a sibling duo of Lycanborn werewolves, Mayleen successfully pulls off her first-ever legitimate tracking spell. They soon persuade the sister of the siblings to teach the three newborns how to shift by will thanks to the spell leading them back to Cold Spring, New York. Upon ensuring the girls were in safe hands, the witch then returned to Cottonwood Falls. Occasionally providing the wolves with a safe place to stay, and offering assistance to anyone who needs it, all the while working on her spell-casting in order to free herself from the curse she imposed on herself.

𝐻𝑜𝒷𝒷𝒾𝑒𝓈:

Mayleen has several hobbies including, reading, doting on her pets, listening to music, dancing, knitting, helping lost spirits move on, face painting (she is not good at it), and singing. May has acquired several pets throughout her life, ranging from snakes to spiders. Some may find it unusual, but she usually claims that even the spookier of pets deserve love.

𝐻𝒶𝒷𝒾𝓉𝓈:

May has a tendency to avoid giving direct answers and often responds to questions with more questions. When feeling embarrassed, anxious, worried, or tearful, she adjusts her glasses. May enjoys getting into playful trouble and will never miss a chance to do so. She can be clumsy, especially when flustered, and tends to make jokes during tense or awkward situations. She also tends to consume a lot of wine and listen to Taylor Swift when feeling extremely stressed or depressed. When heated or upset, May has a tendency to place her hands on her hips or cross her arms and stomp her foot down. If concerned or worried about someone she'll make a habit of checking in on them, weather it be over the phone or the occasional 'visit'. Although she needs to practice more with her magic and spell casting, Mayleen does have an uncanny talent with her telekinesis and tends to use it quite often for a quick escape.

Fierce, vain, loyal, and persistent, this woman is a typical Lycanborn, and usually, the way to gain her favor is through flattery. (One could be persistent and annoy her as well.) Upon first meeting her, she tends to come off a bit… Feral and immediately distrusting, and if one is winning against her during a battle, she is not against self-preservation and running to fight another day. However, one should not let that push you away though, once one gets to know her, she can be compassionate, sweet, and gentle. She tends to show her softer side to the young and values their lives more than anything, regardless of the species. Though getting her to show anyone else this side would have to take some convincing, once one has won her heart, she tends to be in it for the long haul. Stratus is a complicated individual who just needs time to warm up to another and realize she’s not at threat. Once she’s calmed down, she will eventually reveal her human form to one as a sign of trust, as she is most vulnerable in this form to injury and or death. 

Stratus grew up in Cold Spring, New York, alongside her parents and older brother Gordon. However, by the age of twelve, both her and Gordon's parents had been killed by hunters, leaving the two on their own with Gordon raising her. While raising her, he teaches and trains her in how to lure in and kill her own victims, and even uses her as bait several times. By the time she shifted for the first time, she had taken her first body on her own, and by twenty-four she had claimed her nineteenth body. Over time, however, she grew bored of her repetitive life and ventured out on her own and winds up spending over twenty years in the wilds of Yellowstone National Park, traveling to the Arctic Circle of Northern Canada.

While traveling, she befriends a human named Jason and grows quite fond of him. However, when Gordon discovers her relationship with Jason, he kills him. Gordon criticizes her for becoming too attached to humans and cautions her to be more careful before she meets the same fate. Gordon then brings her back to Cold Spring in an attempt to show her the errors of her actions. Sadly it formed a rift between the two siblings, causing Stratus to avoid the house she grew up in and chose to remain a wolf in the wooded areas of Cold Spring. Later she eventually moves to New York City where she invests her time in dress design.

While spending her time in New York City, Stratus encounters a young woman who is undergoing the transformation into a wolf one evening. Stratus decides to stay with the young woman and takes her to her house to provide care for the changing werewolf. The two spend the next five months together developing a tight sisterly bond. Sadly things took a turn for the worse as the young wolf started killing people more frequently, resulting in her death and Stratus being driven out of the city.

Returning to Cold Spring, she makes an agreement with Gordon that allows her to remain in the wild as long as she stays in the area and avoids any contact with others. Spending another ten years in the woods of Cold Spring, Stratus turned off her humanity and lived as a wolf until crossing paths with Rebecca, Cara, Emma, and Mayleen. Immediately becoming fearful of her brother, she pushes the small pack away. However, the group persists and eventually convince her to take the three young wolves under her wing.

Enraged by the revelation of Stratus breaking their agreement, Gordon angrily confronts her and the unfamiliar group. Stratus, desperate to placate him, tries to communicate with the already furious werewolf without success. Holding the new individuals responsible for clouding his sister's judgment, Gordon aggressively charges toward the female wolves, intending to bite Rebecca, but ends up savagely attacking Stratus instead, who had positioned herself in harm's way. Devastated and feeling betrayed by his sister's actions, the male retreats, forbidding any further interaction with the strangers.

Finally having had enough, she runs away after the girls after realizing that her brother cannot be reasoned with.

PERSONALITY   . . .

Cara, an extreme introvert, is not quick to place her trust in others, nor is she inclined to engage in conversation with just anybody. To earn her trust, one must perform a significant act on her or another's behalf. Alternatively, one could persistently bother her until she becomes friends. Pestering her is the typical method to achieve this. She will initially push people away and may even display aggression, but eventually, she will warm up. Once she does, her entire personality transforms. She becomes kind, warm, and gentle, willing to do whatever it takes to see others smile. This includes embarrassing herself to provoke laughter. Known for her hot temper, Cara is often an easy target for provocation and can be quick to fluster. As a former mute, there are moments when it is challenging for the young woman to express herself, and she often relies on sign language. However, if sign language is not available, she can resort to the traditional method of pen and notebook. Opening up to others is not an easy task for the blonde. In fact, it may seem almost impossible. Nonetheless, if one persists and bothers her enough, she will eventually give in and reveal her softer side. Initially appearing as a loner, Cara tends to stay close to her cousin or her best friend Emma, and with them, she becomes more talkative. However, when she is alone, she reverts back to her usual silent demeanor. Cara, being somewhat rough around the edges, does not trust easily, as she makes it her duty to protect her cousin and best friends from harm.

BACK STORY . . .

Cara experienced a more challenging upbringing than most due to her parents' actions, without understanding why. Growing up in Denver, Colorado the constant conflicts between the three family members led to frequent physical and emotional abuse towards Cara, primarily because of her constant run-ins with the law. The mistreatment didn't solely target Cara; her siblings also suffered, and they turned against her, holding her responsible for everything. However, one exception was her older sister, Kira, who later succumbed to the same illness as their mother. Finally, when Cara was just six years old, she and her siblings were taken away from their home, making Cara a ward of the state.

Cara's paternal grandparents eventually decided to officially adopt her when she turned 15, after years of being shuffled around. However, her emotional abuse escalated, resulting in her becoming silent. It wasn't until Becca went to live with their Aunt Cindy and Uncle Randy that Cara started to show some signs of responsiveness. Nevertheless, she didn't regain her ability to speak until the arrival of Angus, a young Gypsy Vanner horse. At the age of 19, Cara left to live on her own after learning about the downfall of her uncle and sister. Since then, she has been spending her time partying, attempting to erase the pain of their loss.

By age 25 Cara was still on the streets when her younger cousin managed to seek her out and find her. Becca convinces a reluctant Cara to move to Cold Spring New York with her to pursue after Emma who had mysteriously disappeared around the time of their uncle's passing. After their arrival and settlement in New York, it didn't take much time for the girls to encounter trouble. Upon learning about her younger cousin's encounter with Eric, Cara swiftly rushes to Becca's side before escorting her to the hospital. Later that evening, upon their return, Cara detects a commotion emanating from Becca's chamber, prompting her to enter in order to ensure Becca's well-being. However, as soon as she stepped inside, she was swiftly assaulted by a wolf, resulting in a deep bite wound on her lower leg. Managing to escape from the room, she barricades her newly transformed cousin inside while she herself undergoes her own metamorphosis in the corridors of their apartment.

Over the next few weeks, they are reunited with Emma and discover why she disappeared suddenly. During their conversation, Cara reveals that both she and Rebecca underwent a transformation into werewolves and that it was Eric who changed the younger of the two. After deciding to reside with a witch named May, the fair-haired woman meets and develops an emotional connection with a young woman named Mandy Braxton. They become a couple, and Cara reveals her true identity to Mandy. Convinced that she wants to spend her life with Cara, Mandy requests to undergo the same transformation so they can be together forever. Taking a leap of faith, Cara transforms Mandy, hoping to unite with her in their newly established pack. However, Mandy struggles with controlling the virus and unintentionally takes the lives of three individuals over three consecutive nights. In an effort to reach her mate, Cara attempts to restrain the newly turned Lycan, but Mandy pleads for Cara to end her life permanently. Mandy acknowledges her inability to control her actions and the likelihood of killing again, granting Cara permission to kill her and let her go. Ultimately, Cara tearfully grants Mandy's request as she ends the newborn's life with a silver bullet to her heart while begging her for forgiveness. Now a recluse, she usually sticks to herself in her little apartment, trying to remain hidden from the world.

ＨＯＢＢＩＥＳ Cara likes to hang out at the local library, where she can dive deeply into a different world thanks to books. Another thing she tends to do is draw and sketch, as she finds it relaxing and helps her focus. Cara also enjoys movies, music, and a good old-fashioned time. Though her favorite thing to do is get plastered and get into trouble with the local law.

It is common for her to chew on her index finger or lower lip when she is nervous. When she is about to use her abilities, her head twitches a bit. When she is ticked off, her upper lip curls and she chews on her thumbnail frequently when nervous, flustered, or thinking. It is rare for Cara to smile, and she prefers to hang out with her cousin Rebecca and best friend Emma. She has also been known and caught smoking cigarettes during tense situations several times. When she's not silent, Cara has a habit of expressing herself loudly and at most times hilariously.

Her mother and older sister were her role models and she tried to emulate them. As she got older, Emma developed new interests and decided to pursue a career in paleontology. She excelled in high school and achieved the highest score in her class for the SATs.

During her high school years, the young lady forms a strong bond with her closest companions, Rebecca Byrd and Cara Zimmermen. The trio quickly become inseparable and spend a significant amount of time together. However, all good things must come to an end, and Emma eventually leaves her hometown to pursue her education at Cornell University. This decision proves to be life-altering for her. In a fateful encounter with a female werewolf, the blonde is viciously attacked and bitten on her shoulder. She spent the following weeks healing and recovering from her injuries. But could never shake off her flu-like symptoms, Emma experiences a transformation, becoming the very creature that had harmed her. After unintentionally attacking one of her dear friends from college, she decides to abandon her studies and live a solitary existence. Fully aware that she can never return to her beloved family.

After several months, the youthful werewolf discovers a group of fellow creatures and eventually settles in, although she never establishes a strong connection with any particular member of her newfound "family". Deemed an outsider, Emma experiences isolation and detachment from much of the pack's communication, feeling even more solitary than she had before. However, her life takes another turn as the fair-haired werewolf aids in defending their territory against a rival pack. It appears that her pack is finally beginning to accept her. Yet, this moment of tranquility is abruptly shattered when the wolf pack is once again targeted in an attack. This time, the wolf remains hidden during the confrontation, observing as the intruders annihilate her entire pack. Left with little choice, Emma must once again abandons her home. Upon arriving in New York, fate intervenes as she unexpectedly encounters her long-lost companions from a time she believed was beyond her reach. Immediately, she begins to follow them, hoping to reunite with them. Her only lingering concerns? How will the girls respond to her "new life?" And why did they seem so... Different?

Reading is one of her favorite pastimes, though curling up and watching movies is a close second. And she’s not one to go against any form of mischief, in fact, it's one of her favorite things to do. However, if there’s one thing this girl loves to do more than anything… It’s digging. Digging up bones from an ancient past. ℍ𝔸𝔹𝕀𝕋𝕊 Emma has a tendency to pace when she is anxious, stressed, or restless. She is known for being quite open about her emotions, and her numerous habits are a clear indication of how she is feeling. Whenever she is extremely happy or excited about something, she tends to express it loudly. This typically involves consuming alcohol, which she frequently relies on more than she should. As mentioned earlier, Emma has a tendency to fixate on her past life, particularly the individuals who were a part of it. It is difficult for her to let go, and she often travels extensively to check up on people she used to know. However, she never strays too far and prefers to remain close to those who have remained in her life.

Eric has acquired numerous enemies throughout his lengthy life, but none frighten him more than Gordon. The animosity between the two runs deep, as they hold each other responsible for their decline in status within the Silvaton's main family branch.

After being accused of falling into 'Madness' and being deemed a threat to the pack, Eric's mate, Lisa Silvaton, turned on him. Soon after Gordon and the five elite exiled Eric, he began to interfere with Gordon's plans to introduce his future mate Cynthia Hartwright, a young human hunter, into the pack. In an attempt to end the ongoing feud between the Hartwrights and Silvatons, the two families decided to merge by having Cynthia and Gordon get married. However, Eric saw this as an opportunity to cause even more trouble and planned to strike during this delicate time.

Staging Cynthia's death to her family, Eric then set a trap for Gordon and the pack he sought so desperately to join and waited for the chaos to unfold. The resulting confusion would lead to a young male Lycanborn (The eldest son of Olivia Silvaton - head Matriarch) being killed in Cynthia's name. Forced to defend Cynthia and her family, Gordon and his parents help the Hartwrights escape thus never seeing Cynthia again.

Due to his parents and his actions, a massive divide occurred within the Silvaton pack causing Gordon and his parents to splinter off, and move to Cold Spring New York. Where he is to raise his younger sister Stratus for the next hundred years after the sudden and tragic murder of their parents.

It wasn't until Eric returned to Cold Spring that their feud finally reached its boiling point. Thus resulting in Gordon joining his sister's pack. Here, he trains Rebecca, Cara, and Emma in hopes of turning them into the same dangerous Lycans he and Stratus. As he and Stratus have big plans for them.
