I really dislike the 'Bellatrix/Voldemort' ship, it reinforces a depressingly common misogynistic attitude/suspicion: namely, that a woman in a position of power must be in a sexual relationship with her superior.

#i also don't think the story supports what shippers say it supports #voldemort rescued bellatrix from the ministry because she was there + he'd already went through the trouble of breaking the death eaters ou #voldemort gave bellatrix a horcrux because he wanted a gringotts vault for what it represented (according to harry)#voldemort didn't send bellatrix to kill dumbledore bc voldemort thought the mission was doomed to fail (it was a punishment for malfoys?)#voldemort exploded in anger when molly killed bellatrix bc she was the top lieutenant + it was an objectively terrible day for him #when voldemort discovers harry knows about the horcruxes in gringotts both lucius and bellatrix bolt from the room #and when they call him unnecessarily to the manor he tortures them both (she's just as worried as he is)#hp
