Ker (keres, plural) goddess of violent death

it has come to my attention that when there is Thanatos, the god of gentle death, then there must be another personification of death but of the violent kind and i just found out that they're called the Keres. very shallow research later and i wanted Ker personified in hades game style fashion

took some liberties on how they've become a horde of battlefield body scavenging daughters of Nyx and Erebus, Night and Darkness, and made them all start from a single goddess (Ker) but violent deaths suddenly came at a surplus and so more help was needed hence the death-spirits known as Keres. These death-spirits are likened to the very first iteration of Ker so they're more savage with a single-minded focus and purpose. They did not inherit her capacity of speech nor for scavenging of little trinkets in battlefields.

obviously SLS is echorator in this AU. Her close connection with the Void Sea due to this makes her a frequent target for channeling various entities, willingly or not

some sort of entity? force of nature? will? idk. it's called The Will Of The Void, I guess

and it wants to enforce that cycles remain perpetuated even as timelines are reset or branch out or etc. More specifically in this case it is trying to enforce that specific individuals who became echoes in another timeline shall become echoes once again in this one

and thus SLS can either help willingly or be puppeted against her will, yay! 👍

MY 11TH COMMISSION!!!!!!!!!

A MLP commission for @brokentranstar - my first commissioner - of their character Crystal Cherry and Starlight Glimmer (post redemption)! I was given free reign with Lore, so have some LORE!!!

Cherry and Starlight met reaching for the same bunch of carrots at the garden market stall. They flipped a bit to see who got it, and Cherry won - but split the bunch with Starlight, joking about splitting the next one. Cherry was surprised when the next time she was at the market, Starlight did just that. The pair became acquaintances, then friends, over some time. It was always a toss-up whether or not the day would end without shenanigans - either it was the calmest day at the market, or something wild would happen!

These included a spontaneous wedding that the pair got dragged into, catching buckets of paint that were accidentally launched by a falling ladder, a stampede of pigs stranding everyone on the roofs of the stalls, helping the carrot stall owner save their farm from closing down, and judging pumpkin bucking.

As Hearts and Hooves Day approached, Cherry realized that his feelings for Starlight were stronger than friendship. They decided to confess their feelings on the most romantic day of the year - but how? He struggled with what to do, but by the time Cherry made it to the market, he had nothing. But the carrot vendor did, sneaking a beautiful flower to the startled but delighted Cherry.

The above scene is the confession, and Starlight reciprocated those feelings - but they take it slow and careful. Both have lives, and neither wants to lose their place in the world. But I think they'll work out fine~

the disrespect to hangyul in the second ep was hard to swallow and makes me want to refrain from saying anything else about that episode.

you do not have the right to qualify a debuted idol by those idol standards when they enter into a survival show as a trainee. in a show like peak time, there was this right. in something like this, a full-on trainee survival show, that revokes. they have put their life on hold, have put their pride and image aside, to go into a harsh situation where people will frown at seeing them. give them only the highest criticisms and minimal praise aside from when a good sob story is needed.

you can NOT look at a TRAINEE in this situation and tell them: why are you over there? you should be here. in a way that suggests it is THEIR fault that their label, their management, the industry has left them behind to be in a place where they feel like they need to start all the way over just to succeed. these people have worked, built, lost and fought tooth and nail only to come to the conclusion that they need to do something like this to get back.
