This is just a quickie post to let you guys know who is who and what the basic plot is for the Scream affiliated verse!

Plot: It's the start of the school year before the Woodsboro massacre! I want you guys to have the plots you want so I won't get too detailed but we can definitely do parties and proms but remember this is a horror franchise first and foremost so even though the other students don't know it, Billy and Stu are still highly dangerous as is Faith!

Rules:

All basic rp rules apply, like no god-modding or ship shoving. Don't be an ass and we'll all get along!

This is a canon verse so don't get too crazy with in-verse headcanons! Nothing big at least that would change canon up until now. Obviously you gotta have some headcanons but let's not get too out there. I mean Randy's never gonna be a ladies man loool.

I know this makes no sense with the timeline but for legal purposes all muses are 18 or over except Martha who's an non-shipping npc.

You're not required to interact with everyone in the verse but I hope you do!

I'll try to drop plots and parties or other fun stuff from time to time! And scary stuff too ofc :)

Be nice to each other but if you have a problem with somebody come talk to me we'll figure it out.

Crossovers have to be run by me but stuff from the 90s is your best bet. Stuff with supernatural elements are ok! There just has to be a teen drama side to it or a horror side to it so it fits with Scream.

Don't pressure people to reply. This verse is casual and for fun and they will reply when they can!

Ask me before any big changes or life changing stuff!

"What'd I say this time?" Words said and followed with a laugh, a goofy smile, a ruse. It isn't the first time she's hit him upside the head with something; a sucker, a book, a hand. Always with affection. Always with a valid reason.

"say no more." billy is an idiot; he & sidney dated long before maureen prescott's untimely death, and he still doesn't understand it's how affected his girlfriend? at this point, he's not just clueless — HE'S A JERK ... though this isn't the first time tatum's wanted to fight loomis, and it probably won't be the last. "though maybe without a soul-crushing ending." she throws a playful smile in sidney's direction. then tatum offers a nugget of teen wisdom: "you're way too good for him, sid."

⸻  ❛    “much    better    strategy.”    sidney    replied,    relieved    that    tatum    understood    her    dilemma.    billy    and    stu    were    attached    at    the    hip,    so    avoiding    him    was    next    to    impossible.    she    just    didn’t    want    to    deal    with    the    mountain    of    shit    between    them.    that    would    involve    a    lot    of    drama    and    conversation.    fighting.    it    would    have    to    happen    eventually,    but    not    tonight.    “maybe    we    could    go    the    julia    roberts    route.    less    sleeping    with    the    enemy,    more    steel    magnolias.    something    low    key.”

ugh. tatum crinkles her nose; she doesn't intend to let billy off the hook any time soon (perhaps even longer than sidney), and while she UNDERSTANDS that billy is stu's best friend ... she wishes her beau would get a clue that billy is acting like a total asshole. boys are stupid, tatum concludes, though they are beautiful.

with a thoughtful sigh, she rethinks their game plan. there's no way that tatum is leaving sid on her own, so the video store is out entirely. HM. "i'll find something at home to put on for us ... and we could do a spa night in! i could paint your nails. i found a recipe in seventeen for a facemask i have been dying to try."

⸻  ❛    “with    the    dick    shots.    emphasis    on    plural.    i’m    very    aware.”    not    that    it    was    something    that    sidney    wanted    to    see.    tatum    was    more    into    that.    she    wasn’t    a    prude,    but    there    was    a    lot    about    sex    and    sexuality    that    terrified    her.    god    knows    billy    reminded    her    every    chance    he    could.    “what    if    billy’s    at    the    video    store    with    randy    and    stu    though?    they    basically    live    there.    i    don’t    want    to    run    into    them.”

"sid, i-i didn't mean for that to come out wrong. sorry. i get it. i'm just saying.. the party will be a great distraction for us. the killer wouldn't be stupid enough to come to a house full of people." tatum sat next to her, linking her arm with hers. "i doubt that loser will show his face. if he does? i'll be by your side the whole time and we can leave the moment he gets there. i promise."

the corners of her lips tug into a warm smile. sid & tatum's ideas of "CRAZY" are vastly different. she'll gladly go easy on sidney however. her smile grows as tatum shakes her head. "the craziest thing i have in mind is renting a good tom cruise movie. i told you about all the right moves." tatum raises a brow as her smile curls into something a tad more DEVIOUS.

⸻  ❛    “yeah,    that’s    a    good    idea.”    maybe    that’s    what    she    needed.    a    night    without    stress    or    worry    or    feeling    self-conscious.    there    had    been    an    air    of    strangeness    among    her    friend    group    lately,    but    not    where    tatum    was    concerned.    she    had    always    been    sidney’s    safe    place    to    fall.    “what    did    you    have    in    mind?    nothing    too    crazy    …    i’m    not    in    the    mood    for    anything    crazy.”
