I was wondering 🎤 🎤 what do you and Kisaki like to do on holidays, how do you guys spend your time together?

And how is having meals outside? Who cannot finish their food and who has to help them out? Who orders everything but then rarely touches them for being a picky eater? Who will wipe the crumbs off of the other’s cheek when they “have something on their mouth”

— ON HOLIDAYS

generally, kisaki's never taken vacations or breaks during tk&ko's rise, but now he can!

honestly, sightseeing bores him yet he powers through it for the sole reason of not wanting to ruin the trip for me and so he can say he's been there. he's fantasized about the experience, but he just wishes it didn't involve other tourists. he also hates seeming like one and i think that's funny, because kisaki will scowl at some foreigners like we aren't foreigners here either.

admittedly, he does love places that get really warm in the summer like europe. it's been a dream of his for the longest time and we initially had the goal of travelling across the whole continent little by little. as of now, we're maybe at ~40% completion and we're stuck at this number because he wants to go back to italy every summertime. he makes the excuse that our colleagues there requested his presence and that's only about half true. we'll be there for 3 days on business and take another week for our holiday. sometimes we'll run into our colleagues and they'll be surprised we're still here.

when we purposefully take time off work, he's already got the tickets purchased before i can even suggest we go anywhere else. i don't hate it because it's just kisaki defrosting.

he likes to say that the warmth of Italy is different from the warmth of japan, that it's more saturated and fresh in sicily compared to tokyo.

now that we've covered all the sights during previous trips, he just likes sit outside under some shade. maybe on the balcony or by a large window for the fresh air and kisaki will read or cut up some fruit while he muses about what he'll do for the day. i'll read with him too, or perhaps we'll completely immerse ourselves into talking, spending time in the living area with the balcony doors open to let the breeze in.

sometimes i'll go to the market and come back to find him asleep after reading. the breeze and the sounds of the sea had somehow lulled him and he just looks so pretty like that as golden hour comes.

⋆˚✿˖° OTHER THINGS WE LIKE TO DO ON HOLIDAY ARE: taking the boat out of the marina to be alone ++ having candlelit dinners to get tipsy on wine. photographer boyfie shuji will sometimes surprise us and spend the day just snapping pictures before flying off to his next location.

⋆˚✿˖° BONUS: every december, we'll fly to the philippines (my home country) for christmastime to escape winter in japan.

— SPENDING TIME TOGETHER

⋆˚✿˖° GOING OUT: we have limited free time so we keep it pretty low maintenance like going out somewhere new for dinner. but if we have the time, kisaki likes to go out to specialty auctions to purchase things like vintage watches, cars, etc.

i'll accompany him and raise the numbered paddle whenever he asks me to. over time, i've gotten incredibly competitive because i don't want people to think we're disingenuous or, worst of all, broke. like, yes, tetta! we will get that vintage porsche even though it won't ever leave the garage!

we bounce between hobbies often to find something to steadily fill our free time, and a notable thing i've somehow convinced him to try is ballroom dancing. he was briefly upset that it wasn't as easy as the movies, but watching him concentrate and try his best for me was so sweet and cute.

⋆˚✿˖° STAYING AT HOME: kisaki worked very hard to make the penthouse comfortable and homey. our living space is decorated and lived in with remnants of him, me, and of course, shuji as well.

kisaki's things are closer to the kitchen/dining area and despite being an avid restaurant goer, he's is really good at cooking. he's an incredibly meticulous person so watching him go through the motions of it all is really entertaining. he'll be muttering to himself at first, then when i ask him a question as he's prepping, it's like it breaks some sort of barrier, because now he will not. stop. talking. about what he's doing.

he'll only interrupt himself to let me taste test whatever he's made before going further and i'll be sitting at the kitchen island with a glass of wine nodding along and replying so he knows i'm listening.

then when we finally eat what he's made, he'll get quiet and wait expectantly for me to start talking now about the food.

what i really like doing with him is painting. kisaki is no creative, but he does his best and i teach him as he goes along.

i'll be having a good time sitting in silence on the balcony, my head mostly empty, and painting light strokes over the canvas using only shades of blue, while kisaki is completely overthinking it since he doesn't want me to think he sucks ass at something.

⋆˚✿˖° BONUS: in relation to the ballroom dancing, he likes to play his vinyl records and pull me in to dance in the living room. after the few lessons we took, he finds the little living room dances more enjoyable and even tries to teach shuji a few moves. shuji's limbs are really long and he struggles a little, but the height difference between them makes it cute to watch.

— GOING OUT

⋆˚✿˖° WHO CANNOT FINISH THEIR FOOD AND WHO HAS TO HELP THEM OUT?

— it goes both ways. kisaki can't finish his meals and i can't finish my desert. i'm not fond of sweet things and kisaki, deep down, has a sweet tooth and immediately craves desert as soon as he sees it on the menu.

— before he takes my unfinished desert, he'll take a few secret pictures of me eating the sweet treat.

⋆˚✿˖° WHO ORDERS EVERYTHING BUT THEN RARELY TOUCHES THEM FOR BEING A PICKY EATER?

— kisaki!! tetta!! and it annoys me so bad. he's a former picky eater but now has a somewhat expanse palate. he'll skim over the menu and find just about everything appetizing, order it without thinking, take a single bite from each dish, and now we have way too much food for just two people. and he'll still want some kind of desert because it'll "balance everything out."

— there'll be slick chances where i'll flag the waiter down and cancel the excess food before it comes, but in the off chance i don't, we'll take it to go. even so, because we don't often eat at home, food spoils in our fridge. so, our solution is to call up shuji and invite him on our date to finish our food. it's really silly but unfortunately, it's a semi-common occurrence and shuji doesn't exactly hate it either. he thinks its just as funny and is happy to be there with kisaki and i.

⋆˚✿˖° WHO WILL WIPE THE CRUMBS OFF OF THE OTHER’S CHEEK WHEN THEY “HAVE SOMETHING ON THEIR MOUTH?”

— kisaki thinks its the corniest thing ever but i always do it and let my thumb linger a little longer every time. bonus points if i pop my finger into my mouth instead of wiping it off on a napkin.

— he didn't realize that he used to do so much corny shit when we were first dating, that doing it back to him now as a long term couple is so funny. he's not impressed, but he can't help but be happy when i'm happy.
