Now that I think about it, I may make Ena a bit shorter than I did in his first design (because he was taken in by the crows young I think he was a big malnourished. So he'd be on the shorter end. Sad...). I also think I may make it so that his being a mage is technically more of a secret in the crows. Viago was "training" him even before his magic developed (it wasn't official training in the crows eyes. Ena was still getting regular crow training at the time, he was just learning poison with Viago in his downtime) so when his magic developed, Viago had the genius idea to keep it quiet. What's more dangerous than a mage? A mage your enemies don't know you have

Vrem's ready to finally take on Solas. Are YOU?

But first, they attempt to take a nap after the regret prison. See? They removed their makeup and everything.

Team work. Everyone is very much in love. Poor Lucanis spent weeks thinking that he might never see Vrem again. And now he and Spite seem to be harmony, the wings are out like in battles. Does that mean that Determination shares some of these strong feelings toward Vrem? I think so. Vrem was open toward him, treated him like his own person from day one, helped him with his Lucanis issues :D Spite must have been out of his mind, screaming and wanting to find Vrem while they were trapped in the Fade. And now he's just as happy that they're all back together as Lucanis is.

I also cannot stop laughing at the sight of falling feathers in the screenshot. I imagine someone - for example Emmrich and Harding - knocking on the door in the morning right before the big battle. Vrem and Lucanis are already dressed and ready to go, they quickly leave the room to head to the Eluvian. And Emmrich and Harding see a shit ton of black feathers scattered on the room's floor, then exchange strange, questioning glances xD

Finally a glipse of the tattoos and scar art! I can imagine them getting naked and at some point (when they're not too busy making 5 seconds of love) Lucanis noticing that tattoos and scars, and rolling his eyes - because of course it's weird necromancer stuff :D

I don't think Vrem ever looked for romance in their life. I imagine them being focused on other stuff. Their studies, their magic, the spirits they could befriend. And because they've never had this type of deep connection with anyone before, I don't think it really occured to them that they would want such things. They live so much in the moment that they were mostly focused on the present and not worried about what their future held.

The Mourn Watch is ready to fight spirit-gods.

All the allies are here. Even Manfred! And fucking Illario in the background. Was this Viago's making fighting alongside them a first step in the long road of Illario's redemption? Would love to see what he would become after being "forgiven".

And of course, Emmrich is here as always. Probably sniping from a distance :D

And finally we meet Solas. At this point Vrem has him figured out for the most part. At least in terms of how he works, how he manipulates, what moves he would make in this situation. So they can immediately see what Solas is trying to do, how he's doing his best to get on the team's good side in a very short amount of time, to get them to lower their guards a little bit. And they quickly realize what Solas means by promising not to destroy the Veil.

So, Vrem goes along with him, not calling out his manipulation tactics and his not quite lies, but talking past them. Taking it a few steps forward in their head, almost ignoring them and using this time to speak to Solas' wiser part. The part not twisted by pain, regret and centuries of war. The part that loves and wants to do the right thing.

Checking to see if the romantic partner is still in one piece. Okay, we can continue the fight.

Now only Elgar'nan is in the way of Vrem's most difficult challenge - namely Solas.

Vrem refuses to treat Solas as someone who is beyond saving. They know and they expect him to be capable of doing the right thing, the kind thing, of breaking the locks of his prison of regrets. And to achieve this, they keep talking to him. Keep speaking to his most vulnerable emotional wounds. But a friend wasn't enough to break Solas. So, now they have the Inquisitor's help, the woman Solas fell in love with, who is ready to forgive him, to accept him, to join him even. And they have the strongest weapon against Solas: the last pieces of Mythal. And in the end, the Dread Wolf breaks.

Finally, the journey is over. Vrem and their companions can return to the Lighthouse to rest and heal, but there's still much to do. Minrathous is in ruins for one. And after seeing the destruction, Vrem's first priority would be helping the locals, making sure that they're safe and they can start rebuilding.

After that they would take a looong break. Spend some time without the world's fate on their shoulders. Without worrying about the fact that Lucanis is now First Talon and that might come with certain responisbilities and consequences :') But they would certainly spend a lot of time hanging out with their favorite human and favorite spirit!

Oh my god I got halfway through this and Tumblr crashed. But we shall prevail. Please answer these for your Rooks as well!

English Breakfast: What is their morning routine?

Oolong: How do they decorate their room?

I refuse to pick a favorite child, so here is all 7 of them. We're doing a collage for "what does their room look like" because otherwise this is going to turn in to a novel.

Nephele "Rook" Mercar:

Morning routine: Wake up early, do skin care, drink some water with some kind of fruit in it, take conservatively 45-60 minutes to pick out an outfit and accessories, do hair and make up, drink a cup of coffee and eat a light breakfast while reading a romance novel, do not allow anyone to see you until you are completely ready for the day.

Also natural light is FORBIDDEN in the bedroom.

Nasreen "Raven" Aldwir:

Morning routine: Wake up later than you were supposed to but still lay in bed for 20-45 minutes before begrudgingly rolling out of bed, put hair in a ponytail, wash your face, find some clothes that can pass for clean, trudge your way to the kitchen to forage for sustenance, procure hot beverage (tea is preferred but coffee is acceptable if it's what's already made), try to find will to live at the bottom of the cup

Aleksei "Magpie" Laidir:

Morning Routine; Morning is relative when you sleep in increments of 30 min to 2 hours and you live in a place where it is permanently day. If waking up and in bed (hammock), spring up and get back to work on whatever contraption or alchemical experiment you are currently hyperfixated on. Wait for someone to shout your name, realize it's been at least an hour, do a quick once over to see if it has been an acceptable amount of time since you last changed clothes, run down stairs. People have long since stopped assuming that you will stop what you're doing and feed yourself, so someone will hand you some kind of food. Eat it. Everyone wants you to stop drinking coffee because you have the resting heartbeat of a hummingbird, with the exception of Lucanis because he's a true friend. Drink cup of coffee Lucanis hands you (which he will reluctantly put ice cubes in because he knows you will gulp it down without thinking and burn your tongue and he's tired of just telling you to be patient). Success.

Brenna "Kestral" Thorne:

Morning routine: Wake up early, stretch, have a large protein centric breakfast, work out for an hour, bathe, answer any correspondence or review plans for upcoming missions and battle strategies. Usually this is about when most people start waking up. Try your best to not be annoyed at the late start (Ma'am it's 8am).

Konstantin "Wren" Ingellvar:

Morning routine: Wake up in a blind panic because you are late for class, remember that you are an adult and haven't been a student for years, use breathing exercises to calm down. Get up and try to clean up books/drawings/writing as best as possible from the night before. Try to scrub off any ink stains on your hands from the night before. Polish your horns and put your hair in a bun. Avoid looking in the mirror while doing this. Try to eat breakfast either before anyone gets up, or see if you can sneak it back to your room so that you don't have to eat in front of people. Some days you will be more successful at this than others. Breathe.

Elspeth "Crow" de Riva:

Morning routine: If not alone in bed: sneak out. If alone in bed, go in search of coffee. Wander back to bed and drink coffee while reading correspondence. Promptly ignore 3rd letter in a row from Viago because you're not in the mood. Go back to sleep for a little bit. Wake up. Think about answering letter but realize there's no time. Wonder whether or not succulent needs to be watered (you have no idea). Completely forget that you also require sustenance as a living creature until 10am when you get unreasonably cranky for no reason (there's a reason).

Paloma "Dove"

Morning Routine: Wake up at whatever constitutes dawn around here, stretch, make bed, light incense, meditate, put hair in braids, do make up, go make tea and help whoever is making breakfast. Do the dishes. Politely refuse anyone who offers to help. That might be the first time you speak today. Your throat is dryer than you thought and it comes out too quiet. Drink more tea. Wash tea cup.
