Critical Role fic idea I will probably never write: Percy, Vex, and Vesper are kidnapped/taken hostage for political reasons/captured for revenge by Vecna cultists/etc when Vesper is around 10-12 years old. Percy gets to have lots of emotional angst over trying to protect everyone while dealing with the potential of watching his family get hurt or killed again, but from the other side of the coin (as a husband and father rather than as a son and brother) this time
