How would you have liked to see them reboot Charmed? With the P's in a new storyline, brand-new characters with no connection, or a mix of the two?

For me, when I first saw the potential 70's reboot they were planning, I thought that would have been a perfect AU setup. We could have seen Patty and Penny (and the little Charmed Ones) from the POV of these outside witches - maybe some witches that Patty worked with. And then, for the AU element, Patty gets pregnant in '77 and ends up asking the other witches to raise Paige.

tbh i wouldn't want to see the sisters in another storyline bc like. they already did that shit man let them rest like how you know they've not that new comic coming up w like buffy in her 50s still fighting vampires like doesn't that just depress you? obviously if i could have anything it'd be a next gen reboot but very crucially i want like all nine kids i do not want a wyatt & chris centric story ik like a lot of people were on that charmed sons kick back in the day but fuck no if i'm not getting a campy feminist show out of this then like. what's the damn point you know.

however, to completely undermine what i just said (& i've mentioned this previously) i think if you want to leave the warren bloodline alone going for a magical morrises au would so go hard bc like. it has just enough severance from the original lore that you aren't boxed in by charmed's relatively restrictive 8 season canon and you get the wonder of you know siblings discovering exactly what it means to be witches and you can add vague allusions to the halliwells but you get a story and characters that are wholly your own

in regards to a retro set up, i think it could have been cool to get some history on patty and penny, tho i would love it from a more internal standpoint, bc i want Info on patty and victor and patty and sam. only downside is it all eventually has to build to her death. every accomplishment, every victory, only pushes her closer to drowning in front of prue which like. harsh. total downer.

a young penny story tho could be really interesting bc like i think she was the one who really like settled the halliwell manor considering she was born in boston i think post cousin murder her mom moved away so penny you know got an adventure moving to san francisco to reclaim that seat of power

honestly if we're going really au i would love a source's heir bit that completely deviates from canon but i think would be just really fun and a nice way to continue the charmed line with a limited cast

tbh like. i think completely separate characters would be dead last my choice for a reboot just because the original was still like relatively recent and like. clearly wanted a next gen reboot & alluded to that like multiple times so just to completely upend that and go it's all brand new!!! it just like. & i've complained about this before. it's not quite charmed like just make a new witch show with your new sisters sister witches have been a thing forever in media and there are so many different places to go rather than just the "charmed" route.

& while i'm on the topics of reboots/spin offs now this one's a reach but i have a headcanon & i'm p sure i'm not the only one that prudence warren melinda warren's daughter was also matthew tate's daughter, making her half warlock, which i think could be righteously fun as a storyline. esp with coming off the salem witch burnings (which like i gotta make clear did not actually happen i just wanna say) But Coming Off The Salem Witch Burnings we could also get to see the rise of the phoenix clan

Who is your favorite character in 2? dawn foreva! knew it from when i was liddol watching btvs, maybe bc i, too, am i whiny brat bby? which she’s not even, the girl is Miss Unda Stood. she’s dealt w the death of her mother, her sister, and the concept that she used to be a floaty orby incorporeal “weapon” and has only been alive for like 5 years ok give her a break.

Who is your least favorite character in 1? dawson “doodoo crybaby” leery. jvdb honestly did the best he could, it’s not his fault he was standing next to pacey.

What is your favorite episode of 4? prob predictable to say the one where no one’s ready but!! secretly my actual fave is the one where everybody finds out.

What is your favorite season of 5? ooooooh GOD i wanna say s3 but s5 is def my most rewatched. bad blood is just. iconic.

Who is your favorite couple in 3? michael/maria no question! if michael/liz had been an actual couple i might need to really consider, but they remain my au fave!

Who is your favorite couple in 2? soooooooo riley and buffy *adrienne maloof vc* and let me tell you why. riley had his problems, he was very macho, gender norm-y, sensitive male ego-ish esp when he was in the military, don’t get me wrong. he also didn’t handle his “unrequited” feelings toward buffy that well (him being blood bag is a fascinating moment for his character that i rly need to get into one of these days), but he genuinely loved buffy and imo he was the best one for her. he’s human, he’s a demon fighter, he’s a rly good man! he def has the capacity to be dynamic and get on her level, if she’d allowed him. they could have been GREAT and that’s that on that.

What is your favorite episode of 1? the all-nighter might actually be one of my most watched? pacey getting his shine time is just :’) the best. the halloween episodes are classics, still get chills when they realize who joey was talking to. ALSO every pj-centric episode just all of them, stolen kisses, winter’s tale, castaways everything.

What is your favorite episode of 5? oh maybe actually bad blood. first of all luke wilson. the premise is just so perfect for their dynamic and is so fun to watch idk. also whichever one they kiss in, love it.

What is your favorite season of 2? five tbh! best baddie, some of the best episodes of the entire series (looking at you, the body), just the most dynamic season for btvs.

How long have you watched 1? lol forever. probably since i was like 10.

How did you become interested in 3? tbh i think it was literally just rec’d to me on netflix and i was like ok sure whatever. boy did netflix have my number.

Who is your favorite actor in 4? actor ooooo ig matthew perry. just a great comedian. 

Which do you prefer, 1, 2, or 5? shiiiit. prob btvs, but i think if the dawson’s creek fandom was bigger it’d be a very tough call.

Which show have you seen more episodes of - 1 or 3? dawson’s creek, but it’s really close i’ve seen both of them a bunch but i owned dc so!

Overall, which show has a better storyline, 3 or 5? wow close call. between roswell and the x files...... objectively it has to be roswell, right? like it’s ABOUT the aliens rather than someone trying to find them. execution/writing wise, x files obviously wins tho.

Which has better theme music, 2 or 4? btvs theme was sick as hell.

1). What name did your parents almost name you?

my mom wanted to name me emily or rachel. my dad REALLY wanted to name me clementine which, in addition to ensuring me a lifetime of song references, would have made my first and last name rhyme. my mom vetoed that and they compromised on elizabeth.

2). What’s your aesthetic? What other kind of aesthetic do you like?

my aesthetic is “i don’t get a lot of sleep and i have to wear business clothes to work” so like it’s sad and boring. but i really love soft/pastel aesthetics and fun glittery aesthetics and vampire/horror/monster aesthetics. so i’m a complex woman. i try to work all of those things into my wardrobe/look whenever i can but i am broke and also lazy (and see above about not taking a lot of time to get ready and work clothes) so tbh it isn’t often.

3). What’s your favorite mythology god/goddess?

artemis. she’s been my girl since i was seven and had to do a project on a goddess from mythology and i would die for her still.

4). What are your favorite names?

jessica, isabella, james, stephen, valencia. i actually have a super long list of names i like in a word document but those are the ones i’ve liked the longest/most consistently.

(i tried to only pick one by each band but all of these bands have more than one song that qualifies also i could’ve made this list even longer i tried to control myself. also also hi i’m an emo teenager in a 23 year old body).

house of the spirits by isabel allende, the harry potter books (if you’re one of the few people who hasn’t read them), the uglies series (apparently they’re making more?), his dark materials series

9). How do you unwind after a bad day?

i don’t! usually i’m just upset until i fall asleep. but cuddling with my cat, watching a happy show, listening to asmr, and taking a long shower can all help. also listening to angry music and just feeling how unhappy i am can weirdly help too.
