trying to "properly" listen to this audiobook again now that i know it doesnt suck the whole way through and only sucks at the beginning, but going from 2x or 1.5x speed down to the "proper" 1x speed is. so painful. why does this sound SO slow.

#when you read aloud you have to read slower than you normally talk #but this feels. painfully slow SBDHFJDL #i just want to hear how it would normally sound if i listened to things like a normal person #well i do listen to podcasts like a normal person for the most part #but if I've heard a podcast before (fiction ones usually - i like relistening to things a lot) then I'll speed them up #usually only 1.5-2x speed but if i have good focus that day then I'll up it to 2.5-3x fhfkdl #or sometimes I've accidentally left the speed adjustment at 1.5x and not notice when listening to a new ep until music plays fhfjdl #it always warps the music a little bit for some reason ? makes it sound tinny and warbly kind of #ANYWAYS. i am thinking about... robot still. goddamn you HAP why did u have to be ... the way u are #u are taking over my brain and i DONT LIKE IT .
