u know ur getting old when u practice ur first number for the show and halfway through it ur elbow joint just absolutely POPS and it scares u with how loud it was.
#it was halfway through i dont care by fob and its bc i didn't stretch (which i will at the show)#and i was throwing my arm around like crazy#it hurt for a few seconds but then it was funny#im joking im not old but in the drag community if ur my age (28)#ur getting a little bit older and i've already been called an 'elder king'#bc ive been doing it since 2018 routinely and started when i was 21#and we jokingly call the 30+ girls 'old farts' bc that's just how we joke around#in human years i'm super young#but in drag years i'm old#and they're letting 18 year olds enter tonight for the contest so i'm gonna sure as hell#FEEL like an old king by helping the baby kings out#god i wish i had a drag son :(
