So my son and I were out for our daily bike ride yesterday, when we noticed what looked to be a dead beaver on the beach. 😢😢😢 Upon further inspection, we determined it was in fact a dead beaver. 😭😭😭 I called conservation and they said they wouldn’t do anything..... 😢😢😢 So my son wrote a little RIP and we had a cry for the beaver and then left. 🖤🖤🖤 Beavers symbolize community and working together; finding this beaver deceased filled me with the feeling that we cannot keep going forward as “I” people and now more than ever it’s important that we become “We” people and start working towards a collective good and leave this capitalist world behind. 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻 We need to turn to our communities for support during this period of social-distancing through the vast means of technology; if we can’t rally in the streets, let’s@create massive online movements; flood government emails and jam their phones!!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Also, remember that the disabled community has needed these means of attending meetings, work and EVERYTHING else that has “all of a sudden” been made possible to do remotely long before this virus and these measures should remain available long after it has passed!!! 🖤🖤🖤 Do not blindly trust in our governments to do what is best for the people and do not turn away from what they’re doing in the guise of our best interest!
