I wanna hear about the stolen cat :3

his name is pickles here he is 🥺

he lives with my parents in the uae, and he belonged to our neighbors and lived outside so already a red flag bc it's way too hot out there for a long haired cat. he hung out with the stray girl family we fed so we fed him too. he wasn't fixed either so it's kind of a miracle there weren't any weird mutts running around lmao

anyway he was very sweet and friendly, I hung out with him one day and realized he was super matted and had a bunch of burs stuck in his fur, so I spent a while picking some of them out. then I saw him a few days later and saw he had blood on his back by the base of his tail, so I called my mom and we took him to our vet. basically he'd gotten into a fight with one of the roaming strays he wasn't friends with because he wasn't bred to do anything but look pretty and probably got bit there and it got infected and abscessed. we had him sedated and completely shaved and neutered and then he lived in our bathroom for a few days while we medicated him for the infection. he had to wear a cone 🥺 but he was sooooo sweet the whole time........

my mom tried to tell the neighbors what happened and why needed to live inside but they said they weren't going to do that. so we never gave him back and he has been a very happy inside cat with us ever since 🎉🎉🎉
