The Begining

The twelve years old girl, who had black hair and blue eyes, was looking out of the train's window.  As her headphones were blasting with her favorite songs. Making her thoughts blur together, till she was unable to think clearly.

She was wearing brown boots, green fluffy trousers and darkish brown fluffy hoodie.

It's been fifteen hours of the girl being in the train. And she was exhausted. Very exhausted, from the events that happened lately.

A woman from Children’s Services took a look to the young girl with a frown on her face. She could tell, the little girl barely could keep her eyes open.

"Hey, maybe you should take some sleep kiddo. Huh? What Do you say?"

The girl looked up as she felt some eyes were on her. And when she saw the Children’s Services lady she took out her headphones immediately.

"Uhhh pardon?" she asked with her soft voice.

"I asked if you wanted to sleep." the lady said with a small but genuine smile forming on her lips.

The girl shook her head and turned her head to the side to look at the tank which was next to the lady then she let out a cute little yawn.

The woman shook her head and said "Come on Ciara, you need sleep."

She moved towards Ciara to take her leather backpack and weekend bag. Then put them on her own place. Ciara tried to resist but the harder she tried the deeper she sank into her seat.

"Now close your eyes and continue to listen songs. Okay?"

Ciara nodded this time and slowly fell into a well needed sleep. Whilst listening to music. Of course.

"Tony, this is serious! Get up and get ready or-"

"Or what Pepper? Do you really think this is easy for me? I have a daughter that I didn't know about." he continued after taking a sip from his drink. "Also she's on her way. To here. Right now."

After that Pepper's phone rang. Pepper looked at Tony then to her phone.

"When I come back, I want to find you in good clothes." with that Pepper went out of the door. Leaving Tony alone with his suits.

"Yes! I'm absolutely doing that." Tony's sarcastic comment fell into deaf ears. "J.A.R.V.I.S. bring up the new suit ideas."

(1 Hour Later)

"Sir, Children’s Services is here." J.A.R.V.I.S. said to Tony who still was not ready.

"Oh, that's good. Very good." Tony trew the metal piece he had to table. "J.A.R.V.I.S. is it too late to back out from this."

"I assure you it is sir. Oh... And Miss Pots is asking for your arrival."

"Shit! Tell her I'm on my way."

Tony went down to fiftieth floor with the elevator. He had a 'Black Sabbath' shirt on, which also was stained with oil, and black trousers.

"... from a long way. You must be tired." This was the first thing Tony heard as he moved out off the elevator.

"You can't ima-"

"Hi, Everyone! Miss me?" Tony got all the attention with his quite-dramatic entrance. Which was not unlikely of him.

"It's good to see you've decided to join us, Mr. Stark." the woman, who was probably from Children's Services as Tony's guess, said with a stern voice.

"Of course. This is a very serious subject anyways, isn't it?" Tony said, sarcasm leaking from his tone.

"Let's move on to real thing. I hope you've read the file we sent you."

"Actually Pepper did, I-"

"We did!" Pepper cut him off when she saw he was digging a deep hole for himself and the little girl who had no one else but him. "We read it together. Because we both know this is critical."  she sent a look at Tony when she finished.

After that two women started to talk all business. That's when Tony shut them up in his own head and concentrated on the little girl. The same girl who was claimed to be and indeed was his daughter (he was so sure she was his daughter with the help of the DNA test he made), but also who was very different from him. There were nothing to make you refer them as father-daughter. Black hair rather than brown, blue eyes rather than brown.

"Mr. Stark, do you really want to Ciara to live with you? Do you think you are ready to take care of a child?" this question throw him off guard.  He didn't want any children, or did he? He wasn't sure. Kids meant trouble and he didn't need that kind of thing. But in the other hand she didn't look like a much trouble-maker though. He didn't want to be a single father. His eyes wandered towards Pepper. And that's when he realized, he wouldn't be alone on this journey.

"Yes." he said without thinking twice.

Ciara's head perked up when she heard his answer.

With his answer it was official. She was staying with them.

Episode 15 - Yunmeng

I liked how their relationship was portrayed here (I read it's different in the book), she does care about him a little after all. It's grey, it's problematic, it's human.

Uhhh I didn't pick up on this when I first watched. Poor WWX can't he catch a break? Not for 16 years though smh

Lmao I still like her as a character, she's badass and her level of being annoyed all the time is both relatable and admirable.

Iconic. I'm thinking, she gave WWX what, 5 lashes? And he's still conscious, ok bleeding and all that but it didn't knock him out completely yet these Wen soldiers dropped instantly after one lash. Is it because WWX is used to this treatment? 😭

Also I got the impression that she didn't intend to cut off WWX's hand, she might have been tempted but she considered the family's honour more important than being alive and when she gave the order to shut the doors it was already because she wanted to kill the Wens. How much I wish she moved to cut that bitch's neck faster. When I was first watching, I read a comment after the wen indoctrination episode about how sad it was that wwx had to give up his sword because he wouldn't fight with it again and then I watched this and I thought omg he won't be able to fight because he's gonna lose his hand. I was so freaked out.

I think the style how Madam Yu made this speech (I'll tell you who's superior, etc) and then kicked everyone's arses was somewhat similar to WWX's style. He also made a speech at Nevernight then kicked everyone's arses with the same righteousness and ferocity.

She hugs Cheng then says this to WWX:

It's not like it was his decision. Madam Yu decided that Wei Wuxian was a family member (she stated this to to Wen woman) and that the family's honour including Wei Wuxian's was worth fighting for and giving her life for. I think she loved him somewhere buried deep, and now she's saying "you damn boy it's your fault I love you and did this for you when I should hate you as much as I say I do and should have given you to the Wens to save my family". The way she grabbed him was so in contrast to how she embaced Cheng, it felt like she had to touch him, maybe a part of her wanted to hug him too but just like during the years before she couldn't bring herself to do that so she shook him and blamed him. But actions speak louder than words and she protected him just as much as she would have protected Cheng or Yanli.

Wei Wuxian of course doesn't know this, that's not what he gets from all this. I wonder if he later looked at his hand and felt like he shouldn’t have it, because we know he would have given it up to protect the Jiang clan if it had been his decision, even before he saw what disaster happened afterwards.

Then Madam Yu tells him to protect Cheng with his life, in her mind it's because she just sacrificed herself and so many in the clan to save him so the least he could do is look out for Cheng, which makes sense in my opinion, but what Wei Wuxian hears is that his life is worthless and he's unloved (even though Madam Yu's actions prove the opposite of both).
