I shall not read the literature about war at night, cause i will find so many parallels to keep me awake for the rest of the night
#war at its core didn't really change since 17th century huh#ogniem i mieczem#no the way sienkiewicz describes the pre-war atmosphere and the so-predictable-but-so-sudden beginning-#sorry my mind just wanders off to tge february of 2022 when everyone in the school talked about their plans if (when) the war starts#and the way i woke up at 6 am to mom telling granny that the war had started#like i knew that it will happen but it was so sudden#ughhh i should stop rambling (and traumadumping) but i can't#war from 17th century shouldn't have hit so close to home#no pun intended but ironically enough that war started technically in Nikopol district
